The work men did a really good job , in and out in the 2days they said , left the place tidy , there was one or two hiccups and took some days to get fixed but that was because off covid and not so much work men to come do the job quicker , but it was not hassle as we still had use off everything we needed. This is my second kitchen from you’s and we are pleased again , hope it last the same amount off years as my old did ( 15yrs) thanks again Anne

Poor after service - no one came to check end result - scratches where they’d removed protective film and very poor communication during fit between different tradesmen & project management.

Had a first rate service from design to installation. Every single member of the team we met was friendly and helpful. Designer listened to our needs, fitters were highly skilled, reliable and polite. Showroom staff could not do enough to help. Love my new kitchen. Project was flawless and I would highly recommend this company.

Just had my bathroom fitted fitting team Colin and Jamie were great very professional and cleaned up every day slight issue with sink but overall I am delighted with my new bathroom

We had a few initial issues around the sales person, but after that it's been great, all the staff have been very helpful and giving tips on what to go with.

The installers were great, from a 80s kitchen to a modern kitchen in 3 days, non stop hard workers, was surprised how much they done in a short time.

After install they came round to do few finishes touches and I asked if they could do some extra work installing splash back on the kitchen that wasn't part of the deal, expecting to pay extra and having to come back at a later date to do the work, they came back same day and completed it free of charge. Very happy!

From start to finish DM Design have been great and I have recommended them to several people. The design process with Gary was an enjoyable experience and he made sure we took the time to get it right. Graham visited the house and measured up, talked through everything with us again and made sure we were happy with the design/colours and fabrics. Graham also made sure I understood everything as looking at plans isn't always easy! A date was set and the fitters arrived, the guys were also great and made sure everything suited us right, if it didn't they were more than happy to adjust onsite. Thank you DM Design for a great product and experience!!

I bought my new kitchen from DM Design due to the friendliness of the staff, the quality of units - which was very apparent when I visited showroom -and their attention to detail. The kitchen was installed this week by a very professional team, led by Derek, and I’m absolutely delighted with the result.

I was initially contacted by the company via a letter through the post offering me an installation "at a fraction of the cost". When arranging the appointment I was told potential discount would be between 20% to 50% depending on the order. Not a good sign! When the representative arrived he had no laptop, not even pen and paper or a measuring tape. He then relayed a story about having a lot of kitchens from a delayed job and could we "take a quick installation, possibly in Sept" (this was in Aug). He then asked some basic questions and looked at our existing kitchen and asked what our budget was. When I said that the budget wasn't fixed and that I needed quotations from companies to get an idea of costs he then asked me what I would say if he told me £30k. How can a quote be offered without any measurements or sample kitchens be looked at or number of units, worktops quantified. ( I suppose the excuse of "experience" would be used). When I asked about the discount in their letter I never got a straight answer. The load of kitchens from the delayed job were never mentioned again either. After some more banal conversation, my wife and I told him just to leave and that we would look elsewhere. In closing I should add that the "consultant" was a Regional Manager" who "didn't normally do this type of consulting but due to the problems with Covid-19 he was filling in". I wish he hadn't bothered! In the follow-up from the company I relayed my experience and received an apology and a chance for another consultant to come out and remedy my experience with a proper quotation but my wife and I declined as we expected a more professional and "polished" experience from what we received. DM design should remember that there are plenty of other companies doing what they do and I will be happy to give my money to them rather than DM Design. Reading the other reviews the company seemed to have done a good job for other customers. Maybe I was just unfortunate!
Update:
Clearly DM Design have some important internal issues. Their response states that they take feedback "very seriously", but the person I complained to verbally on the phone didn't see fit to pass on my complaint to anyone in authority nor enter it into any system. Therefore if staff don't action customer complaints internally then their customer service complaints procedures are worthless. DM design requested I provide further information to help them track my complaint and pass it on to the "correct individuals".... When I spoke to them on the phone I thought I already had!

To any potential customers of DM Design please take note that my review has been verified by Trustpilot which means documentary evidence had to be provided. Yet DM Design reject the Trustpilot validation and concern themselves with why my Trustpilot handle doesn't show up on their systems. Why would my Trustpilot handle ever appear on their systems. I re-iterate my comment that they clearly have important internal issues. They then attack me personally by saying I "lack good manners, refinement or grace" (dictionary definition of uncouth). The words, pot, kettle and black spring to mind! The fact that they keep complaining that I cannot be found on their system should ring alarm bells for any potential customers. Remember I had to provide DOCUMENTARY evidence to Trustpilot so therefore I rest my case and let you make your mind up as to what really happened.

My mother has been looking for a new kitchen with a few just ok experiences at other kitchen firms. Richard @ DM came out to my mothers house, went through all of the questions to form an idea of what she was hoping to achieve with this open area kitchen transformation. We had the pleasure of a visit to the showroom today, where on this occasion Richard went through those ideas, walking us through the graphic design and with a few tweaks here n there we arrived at an absolutely amazing plan! Even though we didn’t proceed with the plan ( this was simply a budget issue for us) , we must compliment Richard for his great patience, attention to detail and his excellent customer service throughout our meetings with him. We had the pleasure of also meeting the owner Donald who was fantastic, an insight of such vast knowledge / experience in this industry and you can see why DM has such a great reputation at every level 👍 Many thanks

Met a lovely lady called Lisa in Stirling mall and she arranged a visit for us to plan a new bathroom. Kevin came the following week and talked us through everything. My husband has parkinsons disease and was finding the height of the shower a challenge. Kevin gave us options within our budget and actually we got more than we thought possible. Surveyor Donny ( sure that's his name) came the next day and planned it all,even ordering a new ceiling which wasn't in the budget. Date set for 9th March and Christoph and Martin arrived to commence the work. Polite men, very respectful to our needs. Nothing was a problem. Slight challenge in getting the shower tray at a lower level but after a sleepless night on my part they reassured us brilliantly. Cannot fault them and we have a fabulous shower room. Cannot thank DM designs enough. Haven't had a chance to contact them to say thanks as this awful crisis has come upon us. I do hope they continue to do well. Thanks again Christoph, Martin etc.

Job ref 30297 - I have to admit, I had read a 'few' disappointing reviews for DM Design... However, we decided to 'go with them' - after we designed our kitchen, and liked the fitments that we chose - The price was a little bit more than what we had budgeted for - BUT - I honestly have to say...we are really happy with the kitchen fitments and the workmanship that has been carried out.From the plumber, electrician and the plasterer and to the fitters - Peter and Laslo (forgive me if the name is spelt wrong) - have all done a fantastic job and they worked non stop when here and are a credit to DM Design! - we had a few 'niggles' that required a return visit... but every thing is all good now! All I need is to get the room painted and then we are complete - Thank you - for putting up with me too! -

Have been on the market for quite a while trying to get my perfect kitchen, from the second DM design turned up, I knew I would end up going with this company. So professional and their product range and knowledge was certainly the best I have seen, Kitchen now in and looking great, thanks

I don't really leave reviews, but I just couldn't NOT write about this. From the very moment we inquired about them, we've had the best service. Kevin met me and my partner and walked us through the whole process. He really listened to our ideas and was such a delight to have in our home. He left without pressuring us, and it didn't take us long to decide we wanted Kevin for this. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because once we signed, it took a while to get started. However, once we got started - I realised I should never have been worried. My partner really wanted granite worktops, and we weren't disappointed. The reason this took longer is because the materials were european imports and fitted exactly to our specifications (a very oddly shaped kitchen). All of the fitters were polite, prompt and mostly importantly respected our home. When the product was finished, we had a clean, beautiful kitchen made just for us. I can't recommend this company enough. Start to finish - my wife and I have had such an enjoyable experience.

I am disabled and I was very impressed by all involved in designing and fitting my kitchen from DM Design.
I now have a separate fridge and freezer which allows me easy access to both.
Space under the main worktop allows my wheelchair to fit underneath. Similarly, a space was left under the sink to allow easier access.
I was told I could have two 'open' units which allows a variety of frequently used objects to be stored.
I was very impressed how the fitters would ask me the exact height I would like the units to be situated. One 'open' unit was fitted at a height where I could access the whole unit.
I would definitely recommend DM Design to any one who has mobility difficulties.

We have just had a dressing room fitted and are absolutely delighted with the design and quality of workmanship. We had 4 trades involved in the job and all represented your company very well . Robert the fitter who did the majority of the work is a craftsman and worked non stop for 3 days leaving a perfect finish . Also want to mention the surveyor Donny whose advice and input improved the design and end result. We may consider getting another bedroom fitted by you in the near future. We have also recommended to you to a friend .

From start to finish.. a great experience. I only went to DM Design because of Zak and it’s ultimately because of him that I will be recommending DM Design to everyone I know. The product is great.. very happy with the kitchen and the way the guys fitted it. Zak was patient and thorough with what we wanted and delivered what we wanted. Super service from DM. Thank you Zak, thank you DM and thanks to all involved in fitting a great kitchen.
