We have had 2 kitchens and a shower room installed by DM Design. The kitchen installations could not have been easier- great surveyor who measured and overcame problems and ensured that at the installation itself there were no problems- at all! The team were well trained, polite and willing to do more to ensure a good job. Both our kitchens were good value for money and we would use the company again.
The shower installation was more problematic but the customer service was exceptional. I wish I had asked for a ceramic shower tray but the one we got came with a 5 year guarantee which was honoured with no quibbling.
The company clearly wants to offer a good honest professional service which is so refreshing!

Had our kitchen done by DM a few years ago, service was brilliant from the get go, designer was great at suggesting ideas for us, price was by far the best value for money about, and fit was quick and painless. Have recommended DM to many friends since then and all of them have had great experiences too. Kitchen is still in perfect condition and we are now looking at getting bedroom done too!

As per your update. I am totally taken aback that you have the audacity to write such a review that is not completely correct!
Firstly, no one other than DM Design joiners touched those Plinths as we asked for them not to be put on as we had to tile and replace skirting. Your joiner put them on when you eventually turned up with the correct Splashback. I have asked for the evidence to back this up.
Over 20 emails?? Think there is actually more than that I have a timeline of all all calls texts and emails to your Customer Service not to mention the fact you never replied to any of them for over a week! You forgot to mention Mr Faulds contacting me " late into the evening even though you said I was the one contacting staff late into the evening with no evidence to back it up which I have asked for. You have twisted everything round to suit yourself. I know the truth.
You also forgot to mention your "shortcomings" and the fact of the matter is it's not up to me to keep you updated if your staff don't turn up for work that's up to you to inform and keep the customers updated Which You did not!!! You have completed the remidal work that's taken from April to do. Nothing to do with Covid and if it is then you should not be taken on the work. The work should have been done correct in the first place.
It's not tit for tat here so don't try to make out that " You Done Good" You were paid to do a job for a Bespoke kitchen and your Plasterer certainly did not do any MORE than was expected Thank god he didn't. Who Plasters in sockets and light fittings and not to mention silicones a ceiling?? You replaced the Hob which your Plasterer scratched when trying to clean up his mess. Seeing as he had no dust sheets or coverings on any of the kitchen. Why do feel it's nessasary to tell everyone how much I paid for my kitchen??? Should it matter if it's £10250 Inc vat or £20000. You never fulfilled your end. The kitchen is of a poor standard and yes I can provide evidence but your not interested at all. It's not just plastering it's the kitchen itself. I have asked for senior management to come out to see for themselves which has been ignored. The email you sent me at dinner time on Friday was shocking and basically blaming me for all the faults. I didn't chip the units then fill them with white silicone I didn't scratch the wood or damage Plinths or the Hob the list goes on.
For DM Design the matter is closed but for trading standards it definitely is not. You will write anything to make you be seen in a good light.
I stand by my review's and I have evidence to back it all up.
I wish I had never contacted DM Design.

Many thanks to Customer Services and the Factory Manager for finding the correct replacement door for our 11 year old fitted kitchen. The door had been damaged when a new dish washer was installed and this has solved any problem of repair or unsightly cover up. Thank you very much, superb service.

Absolutely delighted with recent work carried out throughout our brand new house. Ben and the team at Cumbernauld were brilliant! a huge selection of quality products to choose from, all products delivered ahead of time and fitted by very professional, friendly workmen!

DM Design fitted our kitchen last week. Looks nice, and will look nicer once its finished.... we are waiting on splashbacks getting done....this is an add on, we were going to get our own tiler to tile, but decided to get splashback the same as the worktop. We have asked DM Design to do this for us.
We are happy with the work carried out. We did have an issue with the hob, but contacted DM Design right away and they are dealing with it. Daniel and Lee, kitchen fitters, were fab.....they didn't stop, worked well. Cleared up all mess after they finished. The plumber, electrician, plasterers, all came on time.

The kitchen was fitted first then the plasterwork was done a couple of days later. We were a bit worried about plasterwork getting done after having nice kitchen fitted, worried about cabinets getting dirty or damaged with plaster. All was ok, the 2 plasterers worked well, and cleared up all mess when finished.
Hopefully the splashback will be ready to be fitted soon, and our kitchen will be finished.

Slight issue with floor tiles of our bathroom arose 18 months after installation. I contacted customer services and Krzysztof the fitter came out to check within a week. I expected a long process of quotes and potential arguments about liability, but was pleasantly surprised to have it all sorted the same day! The lads worked hard and did a great job and cleaned after themselves, which was really great. Very happy with the outcome and glad the problem is fixed.

Had our kitchen installed back in 2019 and we were delighted with it then, and still are now. We had a couple of snags after the installation which were sorted quickly and with minimal hassle. Even recently I contacted them about getting an additional shelf added to the kitchen which they offered without charge. Great service.
We'll be back next year when the bedroom is getting done!

Went in for a quote and was given an estimate for a fully fitted kitchen, after shopping around we decided to go back and do a proper quote for a full kitchen and appliances. Was given a quote (not cheap and £2,000 dearer than original estimate) but we were happy with the price and Gary (the sales rep) seemed to know what he was talking about. We paid a deposit of £3400 and was told that a rep would come out, finalise the sizing and fittings then set a date for them to do the work. The guy came out, date was set then only to receive a telephone call the next day to say that we had been misquoted. Our kitchen should have supposedly cost us £35,000 (we live in a 3 bedded ex council house) instead of what we were quoted but being good souls they would happily accept a further £8,000, yes you read that correct to cover the cost of the worktop. Bearing in mind that was on top of the original payment of £1,800 (allegedly as we had no break down of original price) we were quoted for the worktop. The female on the phone then suggested we meet with the director the next day to attempt to find a solution which we agreed to but only then to receive an email saying our deposit had been returned. If we wanted to discuss it further we could meet with her in 3 days (we had already explained we were going away for our anniversary that day)but since the two alternatives of work top she had e-mailed to us wasn't to our liking it would maybe not be possible to sort out. What kind of company does this to their customers, very passive aggressive, looking like they are attempting to help but no intention of really carrying it out. Not forgetting the hassle of booking in other work men to carry out some work required before the kitchen was fitted. Absolute disgrace, and I await the come back defending themselves.

DM Design just finished fitting our kitchen, great team who take pride in their work, would recommend to anyone looking to have work done. Great personal skills, communication was very good throughout fit.

Was "selected" to receive contact regarding show home status. Appointment made, no contact, no 'phone call'. Disappointed, to say the least

Wrong worktops given, mess left in and outside, not finished to a high standard and customer service shocking would not recommend still awaiting a breakdown of invoice for the overpriced service provided.

I’ve known for a while that my kitchen desperately needed upgrading, but wasn’t sure who to go with. As soon as I had my meeting with Anne, I knew I would go with DM Design. Anne gave great advice and I’m really excited to see the kitchen installed. I’ll post a review when the kitchen is installed.

Fantastic company for all kitchen units. New kitchen door needed ordered and fitted in a week. Fitter Chris O’Dwyer was very professional observing Covid rules throughout. Would recommend this company and staff 100%.

Amazing experience from start to finish. From the initial consultation at home to the picking the options (and repicking!), arranging finance was a breeze.

The install was delayed by covid but was quickly booked in when possible. The installers were charming, respectful, tidy and speedy. The final product is stunning, with the cabinets adjusted to fit my bathrooms actual dimensions and custom shelving too.

The room is now the shower of my dreams! And I've already booked in to get my second bathroom done too!

(And just in case you're wondering - no discount was offered for this review, I am genuinely delighted with my experience)

I bought a Murphy bed about 18 months ago from DMD and was delighted with the item and the workmanship of the installers. Unfortunately my son, now 33, thought it would make a good trampoline. It didn’t and the damage was not inconsequential. Given the constraints of COVID the company effected a complete repair in a timely fashion...AT NO CHARGE. I was bowled over, especially it had taken two separate visits. I can’t speak highly enough of these people and can recommend them unconditionally.

Absolutely over the moon picked our new kitchen today from the Stirling showroom Gary was excellent with us, think I gave him a really sore head! Cannot wait to have it fitted thanks again!
