Fraudulent, disgusting business: SCAM
I placed an order for swimwear on June 8, 2026. Items were shipped and arrived on June 15,2026. I tried them on and they were too small. I initiated a return request that same day through the contact portal on the company’s website. Over the next several weeks, there was no response of any kind from the company. There is no phone number listed and the only way to contact them is through their returns page.
Given complete lack of response and no ability to get in touch with them, I disputed the charge through my credit card company. Unfortunately, the credit card company ultimately was not able to help. I also messaged Disruptive Youth through their Instagram page on July 27 and also did not get a response. On July 28, I got an email from the company saying they were sorry for the delay in responding and initially would initiate a refund, but because I disputed the charge with my credit card, that there were nothing further they could do. That was the only communication I have received form this company since I attempted to pursue a refund. I immediately emailed them back to say that my credit card was not reversing the charge and would still proceed with charging me for the purchase, and that I still wanted a refund on the items. I heard nothing further from the company.
It has been extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone there and they refuse to honor their refund terms. I contacted them in a timely manner but they did not respond. Additionally, the business is listed as “permanently closed” on Google Maps (they are based in Miami, Florida. Given all these findings and awful communication (and lack of communication), this leads me to believe that the company is a giant scam.
