Excellent service, from ease of booking an appointment to choosing the right glasses. Staff are clearly well trained both technically and in customer service.

When I went into the Cabot Square, Canary Wharf store to collect my new prescription varifocal sunglasses (cost c.£500) it turned out they had made normal glasses rather than sunglasses. As such I didn’t have them for my recent holiday even though they had been ordered in plenty of time. I still haven’t received them. I have since raised a complaint but am getting nowhere despite several emails. No-one seems to be taking any ownership. Customer Care have apologised but said they can’t deal as the order was placed in-store. The store hasn’t contacted me and nor has the Area manager who Customer Care said they had escalated my complaint to. It takes a lot to make me complain but it’s been atrocious really and I’m at the end of my tether.

Very professional and thorough eye exam. Only thing I think they could do to better prepare clients for the true cost of the glasses is be more transparent and display the cost of lenses, coatings etc so that people can see the true cost. These are all extra on top of the advertised cost which only covers the frame, which is pretty significant. Yes they are designer frames but adding necessary extras on top does not make for a pleasant bill when the glasses are a necessity!

On Saturday, I visited my local David Clulow store in Ealing, where I received five-star service from the store manager, Sam. He was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all my questions and ensuring I had an excellent customer experience. His outstanding customer service made my visit both enjoyable and stress-free. Sam is a real credit to David Clulow, and I would highly recommend this store because of the exceptional service he provided.

He today me by Monday 20th should be ready.
I was chasing the 16th and today 17th.
Another colleague has told me they were ordered 16th.
Jacob then says he quoted me 2-3 weeks.

A visit to Ealing W5 branch. A vast improvement from my previous 2 visits. I was made welcome by the polite and professional staff. The optometrist was thorough and explained everything as she went along and gave the reasons for me needing a new prescription. We went out to the shop area after my examination and she went up to the manager to quietly give my requests. Not like the last time when my requests were yelled across to the store to the other person for all to hear.I especially liked the fact that everything was treated in confidence

Very good experience here. Vinny is an outstanding optician, very thorough and extremely likeable. Excellent admin team onsite who deliver comprehensible messages.

Service was excellent. Very friendly, helpful staff. Helped pick glasses for me. The optometrist was very friendly. Explained all aspects of the exam.

Visited the John Lewis branch of DC at Bluewater. Exceptional service delivered by Shadman who patiently walked me through my options in a detailed manner. I was sceptical at first as i only go to the main store and nearly cancelled my appointment. Glad i didnt.

Staff are always so helpful. Not the cheapest but what you pay for is what you get.

I had a good experience from the booking process to choosing my glasses. The optometrist took reasonable time to check and explain. She patiently answered all my questions.
Nemil, the staff who assisted me with choosing the glasses had great patience and explained everything well. I ended up buying AI glasses after seeing its functionality.
The interest free option over 2 years is an added advantage. The prices were reasonable for premium branded frames.
Kingston Upon Thames branch had good selection of frames. The ambience was great.
It could have been better if there was one more staff to serve.
Drawback: I felt uneasy holding Nemil, while couple of customers were waiting. That’s the only downside.

Firstly, Adelaid was so efficient, friendly and expertly steered us through all the aspects of the " visit the optician process". Mr Optician ( I have forgotten your name) was so patient and kind. He explained every detail of the very thorough eye tests. My husband and I both had eye tests and both found the experience relaxed and dare I say, enjoyable.
Of course we have yet to receive our new glasses. I trust they will live up to our expectations.

Outstanding costumer service at Convent Garden Branch

Very disappointing to be asked to pay £60 extra just because I only want to change the lenses on my frame. I had already paid £45 for the eye test. Customer service just didn’t care if I changed my lenses or not.

The whole experience was great - the Leah who helped me choose my new glasses and sunglasses was patient and calm which is what is needed when buying such an expensive item. Would recommend for the thorough eye test too.
