I bought an expensive Canada Goose jacket from Dan Young at a significant discount. I was very surprised that it arrived without original store tags or packaging. It had been simply placed, unwrapped, in an *open* DPD bag which was then placed in a mailer. This made me wonder. Now, a month later, the stitching on one arm is starting to become undone. I tried to reach Dan Young to address these issues, but had these problems: 1. It's very hard to find contact info on their website. 2. When I did find their customer service email, my email to them was rejected (I tried twice). Hence ... this review. [FYI, my original review expressed my concerns more strongly. As their first response, this company threatened legal action, which makes me even more alarmed about their business practices.]

Ordered a Polo shirt on a heavy discount over what they would normally retail at, or even be on sale at.

Received item, squashed up inside package, full of creases (not a problem, I can iron). The ordered size was XXL. Although the shirt had an XXL tag attached to it, the shirt was clearly SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than an XXL.

The response I got from DanYoungUK when I contacted him about this issue, was pretty much in line with his response to other critical comments on this review page. Aggressive. Hostile. Defensive. Not someone you want to be dealing with in an online transaction at all.

Despite me showing him photographic evidence of the tightness of the shirt (with exposed belly buttons n all), compared with other XXL products from the same brand, he refused to acknowledge that the shirt was anything other than exactly as described.

Then I found an M (for Medium) label tucked underneath wash and other labels inside the shirt, thus confirming the shirt wasn't an XXL at all, but a Medium all along. I sent him a photograph of the M lable, at which point he agreed to a full refund including postage costs that I was looking for.

However, having dealt with the man via Email, and having read through the comments on this page about him. I simply don't trust him to deal with the Return honourably. Easiest thing in the world to say he never received the package or lie about what was inside the package (see other reviewers comments).

Thus, instead of returning the goods and potentially losing the money and the shirt, I will simply take the hit and pass the shirt on to some diminutive relative.

Dan Young is NOT someone you want to be dealing with in an online transaction. I was fortunate in that the shirt was only 50 quid. Lesson learned.

1st time buyer. Prompt delivery during the Christmas / new year period. Unfortunately, I had a size issue and had to return but the refund was swift. Certainly recommend.

Send goods back on 11/12/23 , no response or refund. i have had to get PayPal involved. They like taking money from you but are reluctant in giving it back.

Ain’t gonna lie this is the one of the best websites I have brought stone island from, always authentic and comes on point. Already ordered 4 out of my 8 stone island goods from DanYoung and been on point so far. Some other sites don’t care about authenticity and perfection but DanYoung has seemed to come though good. Still waiting for 2 items but I’m sure they will come on point. Hope all the goodness comes. Thank you.

Damaged faulty goods delivered. Poor communication until I stalked on socials. Did get a full refund, but communication was so late that the gift was for Christmas and missed it. I won't be using again.

First ordered off Dan when he was solely on Twitter. Probably around 2017. Ordered various times since then through all channels (instagram, Twitter and website) and I’m yet to have any issues. Had a laugh reading the 1* reviews as I honestly can’t agree with any of them. I have had issues in the past, which were resolved promptly by Dan.
