I purchased PaintShop Pro Ultimate 2019 from Corel and I needed to reinstall it. I went to my Corel Account and found that my previous purchases had disappeared.You have to download the application because it is not available on disc. The fact that my details have disappeared (making it impossible to reinstall the programme) suggest that I will have to purchase another app, but from a different company. When they resonded to my complaint they removed my purchases from the account and suggested I buy another product which I suspect will eventually disappear from my account so I have to buy another product. As a long-time CorelDRAW user, I am extremely disappointed with the way Corel has handled my case. My experience serves as a warning to professionals who rely on Corel products for their work. Here’s what happened:

1. Initial Issue – CorelDRAW’s MacOS Instability
After updating to macOS Sequoia, CorelDRAW became unusable, preventing me from saving or exporting files. Despite reaching out to Corel Support immediately, I was met with unhelpful responses, dismissive attitudes, and delays. In particular, a German support agent blamed Apple instead of providing real solutions.

2. Corel’s Official Commitment – A Written Promise
After weeks of back-and-forth, Corel’s Technical Support Team Manager, Bhushan Groodoyal, personally assured me in a written email (dated October 2, 2024) that I would receive a free license for the 2025 CorelDRAW Graphics Suite desktop version as compensation for my troubles and expenses.

3. Corel’s Breach of Trust – A Broken Commitment
When CorelDRAW 2025 was released, Corel refused to honor this written commitment. Instead, they only offered me a 365-day subscription, which is NOT what was promised. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this and pointing out the exact email where the commitment was made, Corel went silent and ignored my messages.

4. Can Corel Be Trusted?
This raises serious questions about Corel’s integrity as a company:
• If Corel cannot honor its own written promises, how can customers trust them in the future?
• If CorelDRAW already struggles with macOS updates, how will they handle future macOS versions?
• If Corel avoids responsibility and ignores customers after making clear commitments, is this really a company worth investing in?

Final Thought – A Warning for Potential Buyers
If you’re considering CorelDRAW, I strongly urge you to think twice. Companies that refuse to stand by their own commitments and ignore loyal customers do not deserve continued support. I have now moved to Adobe Illustrator, which, despite its own flaws, at least provides a level of reliability and professionalism that Corel has failed to demonstrate.

Terrible customer service. Process and policies are a nightmare to deal with. After trying out a product (PSP 2023) tried to get a refund issued as well within a '30 day money back guarantee'... little did I know... no online process works. And getting customer service to address the situation is somewhat frustrating... still don't know if I'll get my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.... EVER!!!!!!!

CorelDraw is a capable graphic design and production app , yet the tech support guys are not able to support it. I breaks and fails a lot, you cant update it without a tech support call. Middle eastern support staff cant speak English so well. They don't follow up in any way that you can understand. Old versions are disabled by their own updates and nobody can help you fix it. This product is not supportable and will fail alot. Don't waste your money as there are products that have support and fictionality and allot cheaper

Jeg har brugt Coreldraw i mange mange år og været virkelig glad for programmet. En dag holdt det op med at virke, og jeg skulle købe et nyt - dvs nu abonnere på det nyeste. KORS hvor er det elendigt i forhold til tidligere versioner. Meget er langt mere besværligt og en del funktioner er slet og ret fjernet. Elendigt program nu som afgjort ikke kan anbefales.

Their tech support is the absolute worst. They sent you a link to the same support page over and over via e-mail and never provided any real suggestions. "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

As part of work I have been using Corel for over 25 years. Unfortunately I have no choice but to use it. However, you do! I have so many gripes with Corel, but the main and biggest one, is that it is unstable. Once a file is anyway big, the programme crashes. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I bought Coreldraw 7.0 and have been using it for quite a while. Unfortunately , it was an the computer that it was on became faulty. I tried reinstalling it on another computer but, although I have my serial number and a Coral account to prove I bought it legitimately, I can not get an access code to validate the product. Corel will not give me one, as they say they no longer support the product. But I do not want support, just the product that I paid for to work. What a rip off! Beware!

Corel VideoStudio has a mysterious bug that is over 3 years old and they do not have a solution. While burning an ISO you will get a message "Convert step got some problems." Their solution is to use VideoStudio MyDVD, but that also has a problem - you cannot create a custom menu template. A cryptic error appears and just shuts down. I feel like I paid for a bicycle with only one wheel... = (

Stupid me, I bought PaintShopP\ro. Not only is it worse than the JASC original, but it keeps popping up upgrade buy now spam.

I purchased CorelDraw and the software is awesome.
I'm happy with it. Using the software since more than 6 years ago and purchase the update every year.

Faktycznie Corel czy tam teraz Alludo to scam i pajace. Kasują zakupione produkty z konta debile.
Miałem na swoim koncie Corel zarejestrowane dwa produkty Corel Paint i Essentials. Te durnie robili jakiś downgrade wizulany strony posiadanych produktów i moje licencje zostały wykasowane. Teraz kiedy wchodze w swoje produkty na stronie Corel.com. to moje aktywowane produkty znikneły. Widnieje tylko jakiś Produkt Corel opisany jako "niezidentyfikowany" to banda durnych pajacy jest. Obsługa techniczna zbywa , że załozy Ticket i cześć. Kupiłem dwa a teraz nie mam żadnego. Serio lepiej bylo to pobrać z torrentów a nie utrudnić sobie tak życie oryginalnym produktem, ktory jest wacka wart. Tak samo jak i cały dział IT Corela. Banda imbecyli. Serio zmieniając szate graficzną strony kasujecie zakupione produkty klientów? Brawo Kanada..!

As a lifetime customer of Coreldraw and the Corelsuite I did an incredible amount of work in Corel. Somewere between 2018 and 2021 the software became horrible slow. And this happened many time before with nearly every release of Corel. In update 1 or 2 that was always fixed.
In version 2021 It was possible to get 1 fix, and all the rest where preserved for montly paying customers. My system seemed to "too old" and the ticket was closed. So I bought a new system. Now my system is too new. . . .so the ticket is closed again. And again by Simone.
The only solution Corel provided was for me to buy a complete new version with a minor discount as replacement for the version that didn't work from day one.
Version 2018 (and any other version for that) still works ok on any system. Corel has changed to a milking cow facility with just a fraction of what service they ever had.

I bought a copy of Corel Paintshop, it doesn't work, a complete waste of money. The tutorials don't resemble reality, so they are worthless. The "support staff" are clearly well practised in distraction because it's clear they a) don't know how to support this product and b) know perfectly well that this product doesn't work. They are forcing me to upgrade when this version works perfectly for me. I love the software but am not happy my lifetime software is unusable. I just filed a complaint to the Canadian Government.

Venali, inefficienti, presuntuosi, arroganti e sopratutto cari. Sono anni che uso prodotti Corel, l'assistenza tecnica è grottesca, esasperatamente lenta ed inefficace, i prezzi elevati sopratutto per gli upgrade che spesso non hanno miglioramenti consistenti; i programmi "non tutti" sarebbero buoni, ma ormia a questi prezzi c'è di meglio specie per il videoediting.

Unbelievably horrible customer service. I've been using PaintShop Pro since v3 and never has this issue. PaintShop Pro v2023 saves images to a different folder than the original folder it was opened from. And it's not the same every time. I have to hunt down where the file was saved. I have to hit "Save As" every time to ensure it's going back to its original folder. "Save" is the problem. No program does this. Corel chat and phone support is non-existent. Everything ends up thru email, and I suspect it's robot driven as it totally ignores what my complaint is and what I've already done to attempt the fix the issue. I'll be searching for new software to use.
