Helpful during sale, payment and delivery options were all easy and simple

The member of staff was brilliant.

We visited Cookes after we had a frustrating and discouraging experience from an online company. We noticed immediately that at Cookes there were a number of staff ready to help. We explained that we were looking for a small sofa and were shown available items that were suitable. We were particularly interested in a Parker Knoll sofa from a new range. During the time we spent at Cookes we received excellent attention. Nothing was too much trouble and our numerous questions were calmly and patiently dealt with. We were given time to consider our purchase and everything was explained carefully. We would like to thank Cookes and the staff who assisted us for the level of service that is not often experienced.

The salesman was helpful & knowledgeable and offered refreshments. I bought an Himola leather recliner from the shop floor in the sale at a good price. The chair is so comfy both to sit in and easy to recline. I wasn't rushed at all. This was the first chair I sat in so did look around at others but came back to the first The chair was delivered when I wanted by 2 pleasant men & came with a leather care kit.

Good selection of furniture to choose from.
Jazz was very helpful and not pushy.
Only down side is the ten week wait for the furniture.

Ben was so helpful, showing us options and helping us to decide on what we wanted. Patient to a fault as I was being picky, but when you make a significant purchase you need to be sure.
I like the idea of shopping at a family owned and run store too, rather than a big chain. Having shopped here in the past and been very satisfied with the service and product, I didn't really want to go anywhere else. Just waiting for the delivery now 😁

Our Salesman Majid Khan was excellent, he encouraged me to sit in the chairs for at least 10 minutes to get a good comparison. He was very knowledgeable about the Stressless range, and helped us to decide the best options for us. Very friendly, no pressure to buy anything, a great experience.

We were allowed to browse with very little interruption during each visit.
Ordering was straightforward with friendly and helpful staff. (Delivery/collection times of 11 weeks for furniture and 4 weeks for a picture did seem a little long, but having purchased previously, this was not unexpected and conforms to statements in brochures/online.)
Overall, a pleasant experience.

A lovely showroom, helpful staff, and good quality furniture to choose from.

As soon as we stepped into the showroom, it felt relaxed as everything was so well set out. The staff that attended to us Wendy in the lounge chairs and David in Beds were very knowledgeable and courteous. Neither of them rushed us or tried to persuade us into our purchase but both gave us time and guidance and were very well informed into the products they were selling. We were given free refreshments whilst we deliberated. We now await delivery of our purchases.
