Never looked back
I've used Clear treasury for the last two years and still get a great feeling every time I use them, thinking of all I'm saving compared to the rate and charges my bank used before that. They make currency payments so cost effective and are very efficient in doing so.

Expensive Lesson
I used this service as the rate I was being charged at the bank I thought was too high. Problem with this site is that they do not have an international bank account to accept payment only in sterling. So they say they don't have any charges which is true but you are charged by your bank to convert your local currency into sterling. You have to have a multi currency account to deal in this market, I ended up paying more going through this route than I would at the bank , over 100.00 GBP as opposed to 30.00 GBP with HSBC. If can't offer multi currency account you have to be more open with customers and tell them you are actually more expensive than the banks.

Although we do provide different currency accounts to receive payments without high charges, we understand the process can be difficult to navigate when using a bank to send your money.
Please get in touch if you want to make an international payment, and we will talk you through this step by step to ensure this doesn't happen again.
In the meantime we will also review your experience, and see if we can look to make things easier in the future.
