We just purchased a Charnwood 500 aire intelligent. It’s a beautiful looking stove and well made. Can’t wait for the winter

Very good. Charnwood's stoves are of high quality and well made. The online staff are helpful and answered my query very quickly. A British manufacturing company employing locally, and with strong environmental values.

Excellent service mainly due to Bob and Fraser who fitted the fire.
They were professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and friendly.

Lovely Stove just right for our living room. Throws out a good amount of heat and looks cheerful when doing so.

Lovely inset, not too sure about the warmth factor yet, it's summer !!

great quality product with good sales support and advice

The stove is sleek and small, yet the amount of heat that it produces is phenomenal. I had to contact the company about the guarantee and they were great- so friendly and very quick to respond.

Friendly sales. Excellent fitting.

I was emailing Robert Stockton.
Charnwood Stoves Senior Technical Advisor. He was more than helpful and straightforward regarding all the information I was looking in relation to a particular stove.
Thank you Robert

I've bought from Charnwood for many years and like the quality of their products.

Very good service

Seems good quality but only just fitted in a heatwave so early days

What makes this company different is its team and the genuine feeling you get that they ARE there to help with any customer problem. Everyone I spoke to was friendly in advising me on the correct product for my needs. It was a pleasant but unusual experience in this new world of AI.
Very well done to all the staff.

I bought a Charnwood Skye E700D to replace a 14 year old stove which had the best pollution rating on the British scoring system. The Skye stove appeared superior because it complies with the more stringent United States EPA standard which is particularly important to me because I live in inner London where there is much concern about particulate pollution from wood burning.
The experience from the first two months is of a substantial reduction (to about 50%) in the amount of wood that needs to be burnt for a similar heating effect. That must mean less carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere to add to the published data on very low levels of particulate release.
By virtue of its automatic controls, very little intervention is needed to get the required heating output which is also supplied at a steadier rate.
In summary it is the least polluting wood burning stove that I could find, is very easy to use and gives comfortable heating with highly efficient use of fuel.

I cannot praise your company highly enough for the prompt and professional manner in which you assisted me with my enquiry recently. We have been very satisfied with your stove a charnwood country 4 mk11 which we purchased 15 years ago and it is still performing perfectly. Wouldn't hesitate to use your company in the future for spares or a new stove. 5 🌟

Really good product and service - only took a star off for a little bit of carelessness. Lovely people.

We have always wanted a wood burner.
After our research we opted for the Charnwood stove from Island Stoves. All the work from initial inspection to install and commissioning was great. The old fireplace was removed , chimney cleaned, hearth laid , surround built and install completed without mess fuss or delay. The end result is a thing of beauty! We love it !
