Service was great, super fast delivery and the bandsaw that I ordered has been fantastic.

I can only give 3 stars due to the 3 issues I had with my machine.
First, I ordered a bundle deal and only received the machine with out the extra items. I can accept that as human error and the extra items were dispatched promptly.
Second, while assembling the machine I found one of the guide bearings was missing, it hadn't fallen out in transit and wasn't in the box. Again new parts sent but couldn't use it over the Easter break.
Third, once I'd fitted the missing bearing and tried to start the machine it wouldn't run. Checked the fuse, plug, etc. then checked the safety switches on the door. Turns out the top door wasn't engaging the switch and I had to manually manipulate it to make it contact properly.
My first few cuts seem accurate and straight but the poor QA means I can only give 3 stars. Surprising for a company of Charnwood's reputation.

Delivery on time and good quality product

Made an online order for a drum sander on the Monday, had a call from Charnwood on Tuesday, asking when I wanted delivery. Agreed delivery on the Thursday. Delivered on the Thursday, wow. Solid machine, 5 years warranty. Well done Charnwood. I know where I will be shopping for tools and machinery from now on.

Bought a significant purchase from Charnwood, the process on their website was clean and straightforward. Purchased on a Sat and I got a lovely call confirming the order and arranging a pallet delivery for my choice of dates - first one being that Wednesday. Perfectly delivered on the Wednesday (200kg machine). Could not fault them once! Perfect transaction and lovely machine!

I wanted a faceplate for my VP2 chuck and some spare screws for the jaws.
The items I needed were easy to find, ordering was simple and they arrived quickly.
Couldn't be easier.

Bought the W012 portable router table from Amazon. The table had a few issues so rather than go through Amazon's complaints process as I wanted to give Charnwood the opportunity to figure the issues out first and they did not disappoint, they were fast in response and have sent out replacement parts. The chap I spoke to was Andy a top tier human that didn't mess around getting to resolving my issue and giving me complete piece of mind. Very well done Charnwood, how refreshing to have real, actual customer service!!

The service was good but there was a mix up on the delivery. I paid for next day delivery but got the Post Office. "Michael"

The ordering process was very easy, and delivery very good. on unpacking the bandsaw I found that one of the cable strain relief glands had been very badly bent (obviously during the packing of the machine) so on cantact Charnwood I was askedto send a photo of the damage and one of the engineers phoned me back, and after discussing the problem with him he put a replacement part in the post straight away, which was very useful because I visions of having to repack the machine and return it. I have used the company since for some other extras and waspleased with the speed of delivery. I have no hesitation in recommending the company

Absolutely pleased with the bandsaw and base and easy to set up once I got it out of the case. Cuts well and just what I wanted.
