Very impressive after sale service
Very impressive after sale service.
I bought a number of items from CIBC in the summer of 2024 for two rooms. The shower unit developed a leak over time through an emerging hair line fracture. Whilst the item is now over a year old, CIBC replaced it swiftly and without question. I can't rate them higher.

Item arrived very badly damaged. Customer service to arrange replacement was good - but shouldn’t have happened in first place.

We are very sorry to hear that your item arrived damaged — that is certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Unfortunately, occasionally items are damaged during transit, although we do everything we can to prevent this.

Everything about the cast iron bath…
Everything about the cast iron bath company has been a positive experience. They had everything we needed in polished nickel (which can be tricky to find) and in stock at short notice. The customer services were responsive, super helpful and pleasant. We are still having the bathroom installed at the moment but everything looks beautiful and has exceeded our expectations. Will be my first stop when choosing future bathroom furniture!

Be prepared to do a lot of extra work to get bath plummed in
I purchased a white cast iron bath. It was supplied with drainage pipes, overflow pipe, U Bend, and various other components. There were no assembly instructions, and when I requested these were not available and I was told to "Employ a plumber". It was supplied with 2 identicale screws - one of which was far too long (Overflow connection) ans had to be cut down. The chrome overflow pipe supplied also had to have both ends shortening. This pipe should have already been cut to length as it can only fit 1 way. Having paid over £1300 I am disappointed with the extra unnecessary work required by the customer which shouldn't need doing.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent purchase of your cast iron bath and fittings. We are sorry for any inconvenience you experienced during installation.
To help accommodate the wide range of installation setups and bath sizes, the overflow pipe and fixing screws are supplied at a slightly longer length so they can be cut down to suit the specific configuration on site. However, we appreciate that clearer guidance would make this requirement more transparent and the installation process smoother. Your comments have been passed to our product team so we can improve this in the future.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Feedback like yours helps us continually improve the products and service we deliver.

I’m not sure on what grounds you have evidence to say the chip resulted in impact damage. Given it has now sustained four chips it is clearly not that fit for purpose as a bathroom basin.
Given that you have received no other reports of a similar issue for your concrete basin I would be even more concerned that I have received a faulty product, in which case I would expect some form of reimbursement.
