I purchased a bmw x3 and that seemed easy, happy to drop it to me at my cost, within the first day a drivetrain sensor error came up on the dash so they collected it and after 8 days i finally got the car back and then a week after that the central looking failed and left me and my disabled partner locked in the car for hours and had to pay a mechanic to help and then get it fixed which i appreciate was paid for by the garage. Two weeks later went in to the garage again as the turbo is just about gone and both control arms shot. Rear lights have gone and folding mirrors packed up. This is the only car i have brought and not really been able to drive it. No response from car hub or car central which ever name they wish to use now. Hate this car as I'm convinced it is cursed or something along them lines. Should never have been sold if the so called mechanic knew what he was doing. And as for the service i paid for pre delivery i do not think anything was done and as for the MOT passing is another questionable matter. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS. Warranty is not worth the paper its wrote on either

I bought a car from Car Central Birmingham in August 2024, and it was a catastrophic mistake. Within two weeks, a severe clutch failure rendered the vehicle a dangerous liability. When their half-baked repair attempts flopped, I exercised my legal right to reject the car. What followed was absolutely shocking.
Car Central Birmingham had the audacity to deny my right to return the vehicle, bombarding me with blatant lies and stalling tactics. I was forced to escalate the matter with a Section 75 claim through Lloyds Bank and seek guidance from Citizens Advice, who confirmed the dealership’s actions were indefensible.
Their communication was an absolute farce—unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. For months, they ghosted my emails, only sporadically contacting me from unlisted mobile numbers. Eventually, they stopped answering my calls entirely, forcing me to borrow a friend’s phone just to get through.
After dragging their feet until January 2025—five agonizing months after the purchase—they grudgingly agreed to take the car back. They then relisted the car for sale before even processing my refund.
I eventually received a measly £3,000 partial refund on 24th March, with the remaining £6,000 conveniently “forgotten.” If Lloyds Bank hadn’t stepped in to recover the funds through a dispute, I’d have been completely ripped off. Car Central dodged calls, broke every promise, and pulled every slimy trick in the book to evade their obligations.
This dealership is a cesspool of dishonesty, incompetence, and predatory behavior. Car Central Birmingham should be avoided at all costs. Save your money, your mental health, your legal rights, and steer clear of these shameless people.

Brought a car last year only for the gearbox to go after only 700 miles.. they have had the car in for 'repair' for nearly 2 months. They never answer the phone or respond to emails. STAY AWAY from this company

The worst car buying experience. The car will not come serviced, despite what they charge and say, the service “is just a top up check” according to harry! Despite having a new mot my car had many faults including needing new discs and pads, needing 3 new tyres and multiple oil leaks, something the courts are aware of and trading standards too! You will not get the inspection promised or the PDI check, despite them charging you for it. Once you’ve paid you will never get that money back. They ignore everything, including CCJ’s from the small claims court. Question why they are no longer AA approved, I think I am to blame for that, you broke every one of their standards you promise and then you’ve ran to the RAC. That won’t last long with how you trade. My personal experience, 9k car, tried to return within 14 days as is my legal right, refused to refund, they collected to repair, 7 weeks later returned still not road worthy. Several thousand now spent and court action taken and won. Still refusing to pay. Read the trust pilot reviews do your research. I would never do any business with this company again or recommend family or friends to. The company has blocked google reviews for a reason. You will be risking driving an unsafe vehicle from personal experience.

bought dacia duster 2 days later glow plugs failed got it repaired /sent inoice 6 months later still not payed/sold with wires poking through rear tyre /TRACK ROD ENDS DEEMED dangerous could collapse at any time cars cant be driven as not road worthy /Both front discs heavily pittied causing front end to judder under braking/ was told car had been serviced oils Black as tar /timing belts worn water pump needs done if it had been serviced these things would have been done/service book stamped at 36K car now on 87K with no further service stamps please avoid having to take them to court sending letter of intent to give them chance to fix faults but they are very good at trying to get out of not putting thinGs right,furthermore as car arrived both driver's side wheels alloy are flaking and peeling of ,air vent tied up with string opened vent fell to bits in hand ,contacted A.A as approved used car ,they car hub dissolved from A,A to many bad reviews wonder why ?!.

Please dont even go near this company if you are looking to purchase a car and want to be at ease. The after service once you've paid them is shocking. They cut the call on you, give you false information etc and Harry the manager has no customer service skills at all its a joke. There is no such thing as warranty with these guys, and they'll make you pay for things which you have not even agreed to. I have never wrote a bad review for anyone so you know this is as real as it gets.

A huge thank you to the staff of Carcentral Brum, especially Harry, for their time and patience in sourcing me a new car. I was really worried about buying my own secondhand car after having a company car for most of my life, but I am beyond happy with my car and the service I received. Thank you

Bought a fiat 500, my first car gentleman was exceptional, helped me choose a car fit for purpose which suited me and what I needed it for. I explained I wanted a manual and a small car, something that was durable and Harry did just that. Provided me with a choice of cars which I then chose the one I liked- originally this car was diesel which Harry explained would not be the most practical as living in a city with the new guidance and fees that had been raised - I was unaware of this. Once chose the car which was perfect for me Harry explained I could view the car and have a drive (not as the driver). The car was delivered with petrol in tank, all correct forms, Harry helped me throughout the whole process and gave me knowledge on where to go further - i.e insurance and other docs.
A couple years later my family went back for a new car they received the same service and have had no issues within the 5 years . Will recommend to first time drivers and anyone needing a helping hand, or anyone just looking for a good dealership

I needed to change my car to a more practical family car, for myself 3 children and 2 dogs! Saw one I liked, viewed the car the next day, the process was so quick and easy! Harry has been a pleasure to deal with, any questions I’ve had he’s been brilliant, just had my car delivered and I’m over the moon with it! A pleasure to deal with, I shall definitely buy my next car !

Had a straightforward process in choosing the car..viewing it and after a few days the car was ready to pick up valeted to a very high standard. Harry is very good at his job and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending car central.
