From the start to the finish, we were treated with the utmost respect. We took out the equity from our property, everything was handled with care and ease. We now have a lovely modern kitchen, sitting room, diner with views over the garden, we will buy a new ( used ) car later this year. Canada Life have been amazing we would recommend them to all . Rang Canada Life on Friday 17/4 to ask…
Rang Canada Life on Friday 17/4 to ask when my first pension payment was going to be made as it was now 4 days overdue. The office told me that they would investigate and phone me back - they didn't.
I rang 4 days later on Tuesday 21/4 and they promised it would be paid in 3 days. Today is Tuesday, lets wait and see......

The equity release cash reserve…
The equity release cash reserve facility is extremely slow. There is no communication from CL so the only way to get an update is to telephone them and at times, advisors can be quite abrupt.
Improvement in communication and process is needed

Found a safe place for my annuity. Took a while to set up. Helpful paperwork sent - easy to understand.
Unable to set up account online but very helpful lady at customer service arranged to send payslips to me by post.
