They are still adhering to the outdated…

They are still adhering to the outdated idea of having a long ‘purchase history’ before being offered a Rolex. I visited last year to put my name down, was told this year that they had the watches, but didn’t offer it because there were other customers who had a purchase history with them. Pathetic! So you want me to buy things I don’t want or need before I’m offered one? I’d be paying the same price as the ones with a purchase history. Giving Rolex a bad name.

Wonderful experience

Had a wonderful experience visiting the Covent Garden store. Hoping to check out the latest examples of the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned watches, especially the GMT range. My wife and I were greeted by by Alessio who was happy to retrieve a number of Rolex GMT examples to handle and try on. Alessio then hosted a relaxed (champagne included) and informative tour of many of the remarkable examples of watches and jewellery on offer in store, detailing each brand and their heritage. Customer service at its finest. Our visit to the Bucherer store complemented our weekend experiences in London.

Exceptional Service

I would like to thank Sumra, at Bucherer Covent Garden, for helping me get a Norqain Enjoy Life, probably one of the last ones available from the last drop, I see some negative reviews, but on reading them, I think that’s because people think they can just walk in and buy a Rolex Sub or a Daytona…..but certainly my experience with Sumra and the staff couldn’t have been better, everyone there was patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bucherer Covent Garden and I’ll certainly be back.

A Truly Exceptional Experience

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Bucherer Covent Garden and was assisted by Maryam Amirashayer over several visits, whose service was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, she made the entire experience welcoming, professional, and genuinely enjoyable and did all she could to help me achieve my dream of purchasing a Rolex to recognise a milestone moment.

Maryam went above and beyond to ensure that I felt valued as a client. She took the time to understand what I was looking for, patiently guided me through the different models, and followed up with thoughtful communication. Her professionalism was matched only by her warmth and knowledge, which made a real difference in helping me make my decision.

Thanks to her, I was able to purchase a stunning Rolex 126711CHNR. The process was seamless, and I couldn’t be happier with both the watch itself and the outstanding level of service I received along the way.

The highs and lows of Bucherer

Bucherer has a proud history and are iconic in the world of horology. I have attended Bucherer events over the years, including events at The Lanesborough and The Savoy. My experience with Bucherer began on a high when I walked into the Covent Garden store in 2022. I was assigned to a lovely gentleman. I purchased 3 Rolex watches and a diamond ring during the course of my relationship with the first sales associate. This gentleman moved on and I was assigned to another lovely gentleman. Unfortunately he also moved on to AP within a few months.

Bucherer didn't assign me to anyone after this. I met another lovely sales associate at a Bucherer event, but he was more of a jewellery specialist and so he couldn’t help secure any watches. I then went in store to speak to the Covent Garden manager, who assured me that he would assign me to my local Knightsbridge store as the chances of securing a Rolex are higher there. I was connected me to a gentleman at Knightsbridge, who stopped replying to my emails. I then informed the manager that I didn't receive any response from Knightsbridge, after which the manager also stopped replying.

Highly disappointed at this level of customer service. I have since formed a relationship with WOS, who are offering me a far superior service, in line with my loyalty. Bucherer: your clients should not be chasing you. You are operating in a highly competitive industry, where your word of mouth reputation can make or break you over the years.

Poor service and dishonest claims

I had my watch serviced at Bucherer, and after wearing it fewer than 6 times in under 2 years, the chronograph hand detached. This should never happen after a professional service. When I raised the issue, they claimed the watch had suffered an impact — which is completely untrue. To make matters worse, they provided false 'evidence' to support this baseless accusation. This shows a complete lack of accountability and integrity. For a luxury brand, this is extremely disappointing. I strongly advise others to stay away.

We had an appointment with Danilo and James who I can only highly recommend. They always go above and beyond and treat us like part of the Bucherer family.
The atmosphere is always relaxed and not pressured. They always seem to understand our requirements and are always able to deliver.

Beware packages and false promises

Beware packages! The only way to get your desired watch here is if you buy something else they push alongside it. They will push for jewellery and pieces they are unable to sell. Unfortunately goes all the way up to store director, head of retail and others. Both walk in and existing customers aware. Timestamped receipts available.

Appalling customer service service and respect

On the 25th of January, I purchased a £7,000 watch from a Bucherer store, only to find that the strap was too large and could not be adjusted beyond a certain point. I was reassured that a smaller strap—one that is available but was not in stock—would be ordered and sent to a local boutique for fitting. I made it clear that I would only be in London on the 21st or 22nd of February, and this was the agreed-upon arrangement.

Since then, I have emailed them weekly, only to receive a single, completely irrelevant reply that did nothing to address the issue. Seven days ago, I also submitted a formal complaint online, which has been completely ignored.

As it stands, I have spent £7,000 on a watch I cannot even wear, and Bucherer has shown zero interest in resolving the problem. Their complete disregard for customer service is frankly disgusting. If this is how they treat paying customers after a significant purchase, I can only warn others to stay far away.

Think about avoiding Bucherer if you need even the most basic level of post-sale support.

Broken Promises & Poor Service – Still Waiting After 5 Months!

I purchased a ring for £2,500 (Order placed: September 17, 2024) from Bucherer Fine Jewellery in Covent Garden. As the ring was too big, my partner returned it for an exchange. We were assured that while it might take some time, it would be ordered immediately from Switzerland and, most importantly, that we would definitely receive it before Christmas.

It is now mid of February, and we still have not received the ring. Not only have they failed to meet every deadline they set, but the customer service has been appalling—we no longer receive updates, responses, or any indication of when (or if) we will ever get the ring back.

This experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. I expected better from such a well-known jeweler, especially one located in Covent Garden. Trusting them with such a significant purchase now feels like a mistake. I would strongly caution anyone considering a purchase from them to think twice, especially if customer service and reliability matter to you.

AVOID - ITEMS NOT RETURNED

AVOID I visited to get my 12 year old Rolex repaired cleaned and serviced.

I was quoted £1,000 and not more than £1,200. It would take 6-8 weeks.

After 4 weeks I was called and told it would be more than £1,800, I didn't really have a choice and said yes. ( The value of the watch is around £6,000).

After 10 weeks I called and asked if my watch was ready. I was told the following week.

When I left my watch I requested that a link pin was replaced as a jeweler friend had made me a platinum pin replacement. However I asked for the pin to be returned to me and the young lady wrote that on her iPad when I left my watch.

When I returned to collect my watch I asked for the pin I had requested. The older lady who served me told me they had no record of this request and told me she could do nothing.

I was agasp as I pointed across the room at the young lady I remember requesting it from.

The disdain I was treated with the upselling whist the watch was in repair and the theft of the tiny platinum pin means I would NEVER return to this store.

Bucherer Refuses to Repair Bucherer Vintage Watches

I had an outrageous experience at Bucherer on Bahnhofstrasse in Zürich, one of the most expensive and prestigious streets in the world. My Bucherer watch, a treasured gift from my father 35 years ago, stopped working. This watch, originally purchased for 300 CHF, holds immense sentimental value.

To my disbelief, I was told by Daniel Acat, the department manager for pre-owned watches and after-sales service, that Bucherer no longer repairs Bucherer vintage watches due to a policy change two years ago. Let that sink in: a company named Bucherer refuses to repair their own Bucherer vintage watches.

What’s even more appalling is they provided no alternatives, no guidance—just a flat-out refusal to stand by their own brand. On Bahnhofstrasse, a street known for its heritage in fine watchmaking, this is nothing short of disgraceful.

They quoted an absurd 2,500 CHF for repairs—far beyond the 270 CHF I paid for full servicing at Bucherer eight years ago. Bucherer, a company founded in 1888, should honor their legacy and service their watches, whether they are one year or 100 years old.

This is not the service of a luxury brand. It’s a complete abandonment of their heritage and their customers. Bucherer has proven they care only about money, not their reputation or loyalty to those who trusted them.

I have been to many Bucherer store but she is the one and only one that is so professional, courteous, patience, and no pushy at all to help you secure your needs. I highly recommend that you ask for her at the Wonderful Room in Selfridges if you are looking for any luxury watches in London.

i tried there customer service to find out the
problem and guess what its just an answer machine
which they did not reply to , if you read all the other
reviews they do say customer service is unobtainable , thought this was a up market outfit but you have been warned , i normally always contact customer service before i buy to test the water but this time got stung , thought it was strange when they say 1 working day to process the order and 3-5 days to deliver as most places you get next day ................

Myself and my girlfriend visted the…

Myself and my girlfriend visted the Rolex store in Convent Gardens and we received a very warm welcome.

The Ambassador was very welcoming and she offered to take us on tour as we had a galss of champagne.

As a Watch Collector this was a brilliant experience to see some amazing timepieces. The Ambassador was very accommodating and she took her time with us and allowed me to try on some exceptional watches.

I have always heard about the Convent Gardens location and it was a dream of mine to visit.

I didnt know what to expect but the experience we had surpassed my expectations due to the Ambassador, how beautifully everything was presented and how accomadting the team was.

I am delighted to say, I will never forget this experience and can't thank the Ambassador enough.

I would recommend for everyone to visit this location if you love your watches and want to experience something very special.
