cannot now get it to print normal size text tried to get sense from brother printer company they basically say to buy a new printer 2 year is now too old etc and the problem started after brother sent an update for my printer . so thats how they scam you , via an update to make your printer then print too small to see
Very disappointed, ink situation is a farce. Beware.
Had a MFC-J6930DW for around 4 years. Owned it's predecessor for over a decade (was perfect).
Worked fine on Win 10 Pro. Now the new one is malfunctioning on Win 11 Pro; have lost weeks in poor setup/ reconfiguration. It was working fine on Win 11 for 2 years.
I will not be buying another Brother product.
Brother MFC-J4540DW printer is cheap garbage.
Bought one, arrived today, wasted a whole morning with the setup and it won't connect due to constant paper jam on setup!
Brother support was useless.
I got the printer today at 11am, boxing it up for return at 1:45pm.
Avoid.
Worst printer I’ve ever owned. Horrible customer service with hold times that seem to be designed to make you hang up. They refuse to transfer calls to competent people or to the USA. The people I’ve spoken with seem to hate customers.
I’m afraid my experience of Brother printers is different to the other reviews. So far, this printer has not let me down. Print quality of photos is ok, but it gets them done
the worst mistake i have ever made was buying a brother printer only had it just over a year and it has constantly caused me all sorts of problems took ages to connect wirelesley and that only lasted 2 months now it has packed up completely and will not do anything tried contacting support but they are as useless as a chocolate teapot and keep on informing me i do not have an account with them which is a load of garbage because it took me ages to open an account i think i would get more done if i sent all my messages by carrier pigeon instead of relying on these bunch of morons

Please carefully consider a better machine. Brother are absolutely garbage at making laser printers.

I bought a Brother Laser printer 3 months ago. The amount of ink they give you is tiny, such a ludicrous small amount. Then it started printing incorrectly, patchy, lines, missing. I tried to return it to Argos.
Call Brother, they said.
I did, here is the e-mail conversation...
In order to send this case to our second level team to have a look at it, I will need the following details:
- Full address (Business name if applicable) and contact number of where the printer is located.
- Model and serial numbers of all toners, serial number can be found on the toner on a white brother sticker label. (E.g. TN-1111, TKFF11X########11XXX1111)
- Model and serial numbers of all drums, serial number can be found on the drum on a white brother sticker label. (E.g. DR-1111, DKFF11X#########11XXX1111).
- The paper type and weight used in the printer:
- The serial number of the printer which can be found at the back of the printer on a white brother sticker label. This serial number usually starts with the letter E.
Please respond to this email without changing the subject of it.
Should you have any further inquiries please do not hesitate to contact us.
I am now too upset and have no more time for this.
Please refund for this faulty machine WHICH IS NOT EVEN 3 MONTHS OLD!
The same will be true for Argos who have sidestepped this issue adroitly.

Brother was one of the few companies I've dealt with in recent years which actually showed flexibility in dealing with my concern, got back to me smartly and did their absolute best to fix the problem.
Rather embarrassingly, they couldn't actually fix the problem, but their attitude in trying to do so was so good I made it plain I was very pleased with them and firmly intended to buy my next printer from them
People seem to be confused here.. they are reviewing their brother printers on a website that is actually just a retailer selling them...
anyway, I purchased a brother printer from brother-printers and it was delivered very quickly and I love it.

Ich habe einen MFC-J5910DW und benutze schon seit einigen Jahren kompatible Patronen und habe schon über 50.000 Seiten ohne Probleme gedruckt.
Ein tolles Gerät und die Patronen kosten gerade einmal 50 cent/stück.

Want to say thank you to Brother for an amazing laser printer, HL-1112. After looking at various places and seeing printers on line for hundreds, I found this one, which does the job perfect. I did not want colour, just happy to be able to print documents or items needed for example when going on holiday, or cvs etc etc and this HL-1112 printer (at the time of writing it was a mere £59) including an ink cartridge, capable of printing many hundreds of A4 sheets in amazing quality.
I was even pleasently surprised when I managed to order 3 extra ink cartridges, for £15 from an on line auction site, these came within 48 hours too. No more messing with water inks, and mess everywhere, simply pop the cartidge in (about 7ins wide x 2 ins deep), and you are ready to go.
Full marks Brother, for a value laser printer, which I can clearly see just has everything.

Very reliable printer, used one for 10 plus years. Sadly have to buy new one because I needed wireless one. Bought another brother.
My 6 year old laser jet is still going strong and I’ve only changed the toner cartridge once!!

I purchaced a Brother printer....Model..DCP-L2510D, in July 2019.
I can only say, that, this printer is the best printer i have ever owned.
It prints in black only, and has a USB cable from printer to laptop. But, it is so easy to use. It prints at break-neck speed, and every sheet that is printed, is very clear, and perfect print. I used to own a wireless HP printer. When i tried to print with it, it kept saying, the printer is..offline.
I got that fed up with it, i decided to by a Brother printer. The ink cartridge for my Brother printer will do 1200 A4 sheets. That is excellent economy, as my HP printer would run out of ink after about 50 sheets. I am highly pleased with my new Brother printer.

Further news about my brother DCP-1610W printer. It said it needed a new drum so found one at half list price at £65. Fitted new drum and print quality is worse than before it was changed. After much heartache i eventually spoke to a nice human who could not fix it and told me since I was out of warranty by six months I could pay for one of their engineers to fix it. No thanks brother, might as well tell me to f*** off. Utter contempt for their customers.

I bought j6530dw about a year and half ago - A big mistake
I used it for my company but do not use the colour often
but then the printer said i could not use it again till I bought a colour
ink cartridge - i bought an expensive set @ £82.00 from curries was tempted by a fake one on line but decided to go for brothers instead! - I tried it but no colour - the printer said my colour ink needed replacing again - brother said the cleaning process uses some ink but i would need to buy another set to create a print report (£82.00 )? they also said they would pick up the cartridges for checking though with out the report they would consider i have used the ink
they use dpd to pick up I was given various pick up times

EVERY SINGLE PAGE IS BADLY CREASED. TOTALLY UNUSABLE PRINT-OUTS.

Surely a machine shouldn’t break down after only printing 270 pages,that’s 20pages per month, I am now suppose to take it to be repaired at my own expense. Well that’s the first and last time I will ever buy a Brother which is an expensive machine, It canon all the way £50, lasted for years
