Bought a mug from these before Christmas and when it arrived the gift box was smashed to bits. Would have been too embarrassed to give it as a gift as it looked like it had fallen off the back of a truck.

As soon as I started a conversation with customer service you could tell they were salty, and they certainly didn’t fancy refunding me. They insisted I should have just re-wrapped the product and accepted their shoddy attempt at packaging it.

Anyhow, I managed to eventually get them to accept the product back if I sent it immediately, so I packed it into the exact same box it had arrived in, with the exact same packing materials (it had barely been out of the box, these were all intact and present).

A couple of days later I received a salty email saying the box wasn’t adequate to sufficiently keep the item inside safe, and I wouldn’t be getting a refund. The irony that their very same packing materials, and box, had been used to return the product was completely lost on their customer service department.

As they wouldn’t offer a refund I asked them to return the product, which is technically mine, and they told me to organise my own pick-up for it. Altogether salty, humourless, and unprofessional.

There’s a million better retailers, they’re 100% deserving of their poor rating on here, choose someone else to deal with.

Ordered late Thursday night, I needed my car for the weekend so the lady in office ensured it was shipped out for me Thursday night by DPD, arrived early Friday morning. Very friendly service

Don't deal with this company they accept no responsibility for faulty parts. I purchased a Water in Fuel sensor from them assuming it was a genuine OEM part at £45. On fitting it the threaded portion detached from the sensor body, on inspection it's just a cheap and nasty Chinese sensor probably cost £5 and the threaded portion is just glued into the body. I returned it under warranty and they refused to accept on the pretext it had been overtightened. It was only done up fingertight

Useless, would get more sense out of a dog than their customer service dpt

I ordered parts for my Jaguar ,on Tuesday ,there we’re delivered Wednesday at 2pm ,excellent service ,and the price was a lot less than other places i had tried , I highly recommend them ,

Hello, I am from new Zealand and I want to praise the services of British Parts UK and their supply of Jaguar parts to me.

I inquired about certain parts on Jan 3rd (Wed.), and I got their reply straight back on the 4th (Thu.).

I then placed my order on the 5th (Fri. evening) and the parts were here before Midday on the 9th (Tue.).

This is exceptional service from a company and their courier provider (DHL) from the other side of the planet.....

This is definitely 10/10 from me....

The worst customer experience I have had in a while. I placed an order which they charged me for and then refused to fulfil on the basis that the billing address had to match the shipping address (for security purposes) because I was not an “established customer.” They probably still live in the 20th century.

Update: I would also like to add that I indicated a legitimate company address, not a hotel (the name of the hotel was a reference point for the courier).

It looks like this company not only struggles with accurately spelling their customers' names and checking shipping details but also falls short in basic due diligence. Fortunately, I was able to secure the needed parts from a competitor that provided exceptional customer service.

Used these several times no problems
But last order was just shy of £190 and delivered 15:50 on Friday afternoon on opening it at 19:00 when finally home from work it was damaged beyond repair to be informed I should of told them within 24 hours is a bit hard when they close for the whole weekend but I did email them same day of delivery

And okie dokie do whatever you want very very unprofessional as a professional company should be
As to there reply thats wrong the package did look ok but felt like it had been mangled/ squashed somehow possibly on conveyor belts or dropped on but we shall see what Trading standards say p.s they say you have to report in the first 24hrs but they don’t open Saturday and Sunday parcel was delivered Friday afternoon

Great experience very quick delivery of the parts for my Jaguar in fact they arrived the next day by courier.
Would highly recommend and definitely use again.

My latest order from B P has once again been handled with expedience and timely updates.
The pricing on parts is acceptable, and my only grumble would be the cost of freight to NZ which is not within their care.
All in all very satisfied.

I bought a wheel bearing from British Parts uk after reading the description thought it sounded good "exceeds o.e spec" etc (thinking about it how for price) fitted using correct procedure including new hub that I purchased at the same time (been in the trade for 30 years) not surprisingly it failed after 2 months. The warranty procedure as in their terms and conditions?? As I have been told by Vicky
I have to send the wheel bearing back at my cost (which has been pressed out so damaged) then wait for them to send it back to manufacturer (probably in China but not sure) then wait for their response as to if it was a faulty part or something else? (not sure how they could tell this) then they will either send me a part under warranty or nothing I guess. So I would imagine car would be off the road stripped down for atleast 2 weeks! Also told I shouldn't of bought a replacement part locally as they don't refund only send another if deemed by merlin it was faulty? Cheap for a reason comes to mind never again.

My experience with BritParts has been second to none. I ordered a fuel tank shield and straps and received these within a few days. Unfortunately the tank was in two pieces instead of one. I phoned BritParts straightaway and was told to take photos, send these to customer services who would deal with the matter. They answered promptly and informed me they would arrange for the faulty tank to be picked up and a new replacement would be delivered. This was all carried out within 3 working days and I’m pleased to have received the correct replacement part with no hassle or delay.
I will definitely be using BritParts again in the future.

An excellent experience all round. The staff was super helpful and knowledgable, unlike some other less professional outfits I had tried! The part arrived very quickly and was exactly correct. We’ll done all and I’ll certainly use you again when needed!
