BPI in FBM Building across Shopwise Experience

Very unapproachable ie not customer friendly si madam teller ng BPI Antipolo in FBM Building across Shopwise, yung malaki yung mata. Pagkatapos ko magtanong about their process regarding the P50 deposit fee, sinabihan ako ng, "Okay na?" condescendingly. Kaya siguro walang tumatagal na employee sakanila tapos sya naluma na don. Sad experience. I-online ko na lang transactions ko just to avoid her.

You won't be able to contact them if you have problems!

I have a very simple problem where I stop receiving my CC's statement of accounts. In a first world country, this problem can be solve in a matter of minutes.

I tried calling BPI's call centre number (+632 8891 0000) and up to now, I still haven't been able to talk to anyone at all! Zero. Nada. Its super ridiculous, I still can't believe it. Wait time is over an hour, I basically give up because I dont know how long I need to wait. Reminds me why I left Philippines. BPI is a representation of a rotten system. Nobody cares about the customers and I don't know how the higher ups can sleep at night knowing that their online reviews are so bad. Such a waste of time. Their chat feature is useless, I chatted with someone but still won't able to help me with my account.

I also tried sending them a message but I have yet to receive an email response.

Excellent Service from Camille & Flon of BPI Antipolo City-Circumferential Rd Branch

Received excellent customer service from Camille & Flon of Antipolo City-Circumferential Rd Branch in de-registering a previous iphone (which was traded) and registering an iphone 16 pro max for online transactions. We are Seniors and immediately helped upon entering the office branch and were expertly and efficiently assisted in no time.

The worst online experience ever

The worst online experience ever. The app used to work then they brilliantly (sarcastic) changed their app without informing me (& maybe others). Their geniuses did not bother to take down old versions of the app from the web. Then, there's the problem of changing your phone number in the app so you can receive a pin code to do anything. The worst part is, I needed a new debit card card to change my phone number. Tough luck, I didn't get a new debit card but even if I did, I would have to go to an ATM machine to activate the card. I live overseas and it is wayyyy toooo much overkill to retain this account. First on my to-do list when I do visit the Philippines is to close my BPI account.

WORST BANK EVER!!

WORST BANK EVER!!! They don’t deserved even 1 star! This the bank of all scammers! They are lots of OFW got scammed and they used this bank. I’m one of them. I got scammed of 1.5 million pesos and that money deposited to BPI Metro Manila.

Have been trying to borrow money to…

Have been trying to borrow money to fund home improvements, such as replacing rotten gutters, adding solar, painting, etc. for almost 6-months. Sir keeps asking me for blueprints, renovation plan blueprint, itemized bills of materials, copy of scope of work, etc.. Obviously I have no blueprints as we are not making any structural changes and we have provided him as much of what he is looking for that we can. We don't think he has even looked at what we've provided. Have asked him for a copy of the appraisal that we paid for. Still waiting. Hey, just say yes or no and give me a copy of the appraisal. Worse banking experience of my life! Even a 1-star rating is too genereous.

Rude BPI employee

Location of BPI office: Tabunok, Talisay City, Cebu

I don’t know her name, but she was a blonde-haired female with thick, fake eyelashes, seated in front of the entrance, in the second cubicle from the man near the area where you get your priority number for assistance.

She was very rude when she first assisted me, and she directly said, “Is this your first time here? Don’t be nervous,” and then laughed. It didn’t stop there. She kept making side comments about me and giving unclear instructions. While I understand that being nice is important, her approach was very unprofessional. She kept prying into unrelated matters and continued making unnecessary side remarks. Although she delivered her insults in English, her grammar was incorrect, and she wasn’t even fluent.

I hope this reaches her so she can at least self reflect.

Very Bad Customer Service and System

I've been with this bank for a decade and it's disappointing how they have not improved over those years. i've had a recent issue with their mobile device registration. For months i have been following up on this. Spent so much overseas phone credit for their international number. Up to this point the problem has not been resolved - all follow ups has been done. emails have no replies even. This bank does not realise that it is extremely important for a customer to access their money as needed. There is no sense of urgency. Their chat support system sucks with no direct button to connect to an agent. I finally resolved the problem myself by going to another bank. The other bank's email system was quick - they respond within a day. Why can't the size of BPI do this? You deserve to lose all your customers.

VERY SAD PLACE

My Fiancé and I went to this branch being she has account there to exchange my Pesos to U.S. dollars we had number 236 simple right no way we heard 237 we went up there and they said we had to wait different line 1.5 hours later no movement after talking with other reps. no luck we left wow I never seen that many useless people in one place. They deserve 0 stars but couldn't write a review.

BPI encourages hackers

A family member's account (W***_M***90) has been hacked and Roblox know the billing email address connected to that account, which we provided them, but they ignored it. The problem is another family's credit card details (BPI), who owns the account's billing email address, is connected in the account and Roblox nor BPI does not want to provide resolution to the problem. The family member ask the bank, BPI, to cancel the card and provide replacemen but was informed that as long as the credit card is not removed from the Roblox account, it will continue charging. Both bank and Roblox encourages hackers and are both accomplices to the hacker's crime of stealing money from customers/clients.
If banks here in Australia can identify fraud and values their customers/clients cancelling the transactions completely, why can't BPI do the same? Is it because it's not BPI's money that's involve and they earn from it?

Issues with OTP account holder base overseas.

BPI need to do something with their Tech Support system and customer services. I have problems with my account since December I can't access my account because its asking for OTP that never send or if they did, I never received it. and this went on and on and on... it is now May 14, 2024 every person I talked to is telling me the same thing, they have to send a request, and will send me an email within 2 to 3 business days. never got any email. I am base in US and as soon as I get back home, I will definitely close my account. imagine the issues in my account was from back in December 2023 and after five long months still an issue and they cannot resolve it, every person I talked is saying the same thing they are still working on it. REDICULOUS!!!!!

Online access from US is very unreliable.

I am based in US. More than half of the time, I can not access my BPI account online. A few times, I was able to access it but once I click to check account activity, it just went blank and kick me out. Very concerning...

Customer service in Leon Guinto branch…

Customer service in Leon Guinto branch needs improvement.
1. The Customer Service agent asked me to.return on a particular date and time to pick up a needed document. I went there on said date and 15 minutes after said time, and the document was not ready.
2. I forgot my atm pwd. I applied for a new one. Customer Service Agent A told me to get back in xx days to get it. I returned and CS B asked for my atm card. I had to change to the new one within 24 hours. CS A could have explicitly told me to return and bring my card, and that she'll give only pin mailer that I should use within 24 hours.
BPI, communicate clearly so customers don't waste time waiting for your service and dont have to go back and forth.

Customer Service is quite poor

Customer Service is quite poor! My husband is an OFW. He came home last 14th March. So he decided to applied a loan last 16th March since he will be here till 9th of April. We constantly following up the status of our loan application. We called the person incharge and they just told me that it’s still on process. Fast forward, I decided to call the call center 29th April to follow up again, they told me that it’s still on process. 1st May, I called the call center again but it’s still the same. This time the agent advise me to apply the loan instead of my husband ( since my husband cannot come for signing up docs). I told them I will check first. 2nd May, I decided to visit the branch and the customer service representative told me that the application is rejected. I totally undestand about it. However I asked them what is the reason, they just told me they cannot dislose it as they don’t have an access. I asked them again if they don’t have an access then why no one from loan department informed us. We are waiting more than one month and none from there loan department initiate to contact us. We didn’t received any SMS or email from their side.

Corruption Exposed

I had someone steal $400 from paypal which came out of my BPI account. When the investigation ended Paypal refunded the money . . .except the money never went into my account.

PayPal provided proof they sent it, BPI played dumb and said: we can't find it and we can't trace it.

Never saw it again.

Then I rented a car with Hertz . . . the deposit got refunded, accept just like last time it never made it to my account.

Turns out BPI is just keeping the refunds for themselves and when questioned they say: "Don't know", "I don't see anything", "we can't do traces"

All the while Hertz and PayPal provided proof they sent the money.

Stay far away

how can bank steal money from account…

how can bank steal money from account several times and says wait a month for investigation,and then when you go to bank you have security guard stopping you going inside bank to file a complaint,worst bank in phillipines,this has cost me several jobs rent food and had to live on the streets and beg for food.
