When I purchased my BowFlex treadmill for over $2,000, one of the reasons I chose this product was because it advertised a 5-year warranty on mechanical parts. Unfortunately, before reaching the five-year mark, the incline motor failed.

When I contacted BowFlex to have the part replaced under warranty, I was told that the incline motor is considered an electrical component rather than a mechanical part because electricity runs through it. I believe this interpretation is unreasonable and misleading. An incline motor is a mechanical assembly whose purpose is to physically move the treadmill deck. The fact that it is powered by electricity should not automatically exclude it from being considered a mechanical component.

If BowFlex's position is that any moving part powered by electricity is an electrical component, then the advertised mechanical warranty has very little practical value. This distinction was never made clear at the time of purchase and appears to be an attempt to avoid honoring the warranty.

To make matters worse, instead of standing behind their product, I was told that I could simply purchase a new treadmill because it would be cheaper than repairing this one. That response is unacceptable considering I spent more than $2,000 on what I expected to be a durable, premium treadmill backed by the advertised warranty.

I believe BowFlex is engaging in misleading warranty practices by narrowly redefining covered components after the sale. Consumers should be able to rely on the warranty terms that influenced their purchasing decision.

My $2,300 Bowflex T22 became a paperweight because of a Base Communications Error. After replacing the motor control board, Bowflex wanted another $1,665+ in parts to fix it. A premium treadmill shouldn’t become disposable after just a few years. Save yourself the frustration, avoid Bowflex or Johnson health products and buy another brand.

Charged $400.00 for setup and they didn’t even setup all of the equipment. So not only did you charge me shipping separately for items shipped separately AND setup but it wasn’t all setup. Then delivery company had my order since the 22nd, reached out on the 24th for delivery on Monday the 27th and then cancelled morning of because of supposed truck issues and didn’t deliver until the 31st. Over a week for delivery and partial setup!??? Will definitely not recommend to anyone.

Easy as possible

There is a discrepancy on the warranty that is stated online at bowflex.com when I purchased the M6 Trainer versus the written warranty found in the box.

The online warranty states: Frame 10 years, Mechanical parts 2yrs, Electronics 1yr and Labor 1yr.

The written warranty states: Frame 2 years, Parts 2 years, Labor 90 days.

I called BowFlex customer support, and they provided written confirmation that the BowFlex website currently has incorrect warranty information posted for the M6 MAX Trainer.

Contacted Customer Service to inquire about military discount and they explained everything. They proceeded to tell me that current offer with free shipping and added $50 code would be better than military discount alone since they don’t stack.

I've owned before and it is the best exercise equipment I have ever used. This is important to an 80 year-old man.

He understood english and had product knowledge

The customer service was excellent. I called in about the T6 Treadmill and was provided a discount for the item lower than the sale price! The customer service rep helped me complete my transaction as I was purchasing for a family member and shipping to another address other than my home address. Smooth transaction and the treadmill shipped the following day from the warehouse. We are just awaiting scheduling the delivery and set up. Highly recommend this company!

Bowflex gave me the run around for over a month. Multiple different answers. Offered me a measley $70 voucher to have to buy new dumbbells when only one was defective. Told me I had to send both handles. I will buy another brand before I do business with them.

From start to finish, this transaction was a disaster. My mother-in-law purchased a stationary bike as a gift, and included my email address so I could monitor delivery. Shortly after she placed the order, I received a customer service email from Pali Chang at "Johnson Health Tech Trading" informing me that my order had not been processed and to call to reprocess payment. This seemed strange to me, since I had received both an order confirmation, and an alert that part of the order had shipped. Nowhere did this customer service email mention Bowflex, mention my order number, or give any information that would put me at ease that the email was not a phishing attack. I separately reached out to Customer Service for clarification and received a message from Leen B. at Johnson Health Tech Trading (this time, noting in the subject line "Bowflex/Schwinn/Horizon") that he would be assigning my inquiry to the Fulfillment Team for further investigation, which would take 1-3 days. In the meantime, my mother-in-law was able to reach someone over the phone, who was able to confirm that the transaction needed to be re-completed. (Mysteriously, parts of the order were delivered in the meantime.) On that call, she requested that fulfillment/delivery of the order be held for a week, since we would be out of town and not available to receive the delivery. The order was nevertheless shipped that night and delivered the next morning by FedEx, who left the bike at the bottom of a set of stairs. No signature required on a piece of heavy $1500 equipment?! I encouraged her to order directly from Bowflex in order to avoid Amazon but we both regret our decision. Bowflex is clearly a company that has outsourced its customer service and fulfillment to save costs without even pretending that the left hand knows what the right hand is doing.

I would have given 5 Stars if the discount on the items in my cart was actually given when I gave you my email. It was not. I feel I was manipulated into giving out my email

Placing an order on the Bowflex website was quite easy, best option for me!
We have the dumbbells and they are great, so I expect that the kettlebell will be just as good. Can’t wait to receive it!
