My first and last time in this store located in Simpsonville SC on South Street. Very unfriendly cashier and I was overcharged a total of $14.00 on 3 separate items. I will take the loss, but will not go there again. The store was poorly stocked in the food section. I have shopped at many Big Lots and loved them all, but this one is terrible.

I brought a kitchen table set brand new and one of the stores that closed when I was trying to purchase some screws to be able to put it together because it did not come with the screws, they told it it's supposed to came with the screws but they didn't have it in there. So when I asked about this, we don't have nothing to do with the old big Lots We just have a different, we just got their name. So they're not honoring anything that has to do with the old big lot. I\n Can't even put together my kitchen table set. Because they refuse to even sell me screws. To it, they say they have nothing to do with it. So I advise anybody if you get any merchandise from a big Lots, be very careful and they're not honoring none of their stuff in regarding to any store you purchase from the old big lot, so I can't deal with people like that. They're not honorable. Just just giving you the answer, be aware of big lotsfurniture BI.\ the man.\n Ager stated that they get that furniture from overseas. So imagine probably from China somewhere, you know how they do they get it for cheap and sell it to us for more money. My advice is, people need to start looking at what China got. And how much it costs to get it from them, because apparently that's all you buying stuff from China have a good shopping day better than mines. Peace out this review was to be shared.\n Shared, so apparently you didn't share it. I don't know why was the problem. It was my true experience. I will not be doing any reviews back on this I feel like I should have never did it because I do not like the fact that you didn't share it. It was for you to share. Not to just I wasn't just telling you so I don't like the spirits that I had on this because you supposed to share it and you did the spirits I had with this company was bad. It's not a good feeling.

I wish they had banking services for me to pay my bills but the store seems nice enough.

LOVE BL! I am not too sure what the commotion is about in the review section here, but the Big Lots on 3718 Battleground Ave in GSO is amazing! The store is so clean and well kept inside and out. I am so glad they reopened and also got their furniture section back in stock. That was always my favorite section in BL. I have furnished an apartment in Maryland and now a new home in NC with them. Progressive Leasing makes it easy to be approved for buy now and pay over time. They also have wonderful deals; I got an all season Christmas Tree for 60% off! Less than $40! Now on to the wonderful workers there - Casey in furniture, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Cat at the from and sweet Bella, and Mr. Easley are the Dream Team! The operation hours work for my schedule and they were so so so helpful with my furniture pick up. They are all funny, personable, knowledgeable about everything in the store and just flat out easy to talk to. I had a lovely WEEK worth of shopping with these guys and gals and I just would like to send my deepest appreciation out to them all! I recommend all of my friends to always go shop there for their home goods and more! - Signed Brittany

DISAPPOINTED!!My promotional period ended n 2 weeks later tacked on all interest on very small balance.And now charging interst on that again.Robbers!! I will never do business with them again!I had been a very loyal customer never being late,always paying xtra.DONE!!PLEASE READ FINE PRINT!!

They close to remodel and when they open back up the place is so cramped together you can barely move. Constantly knocking things off rack for being to close. It was fine the way it was. Just a waste of money ! Just saying !

Got scammed out of my money. Went to the site uploaded my order number and proof that I made this purchase and I have proof in my bank statements that they took my money. Gave me a fake order number that can't be traced they can't find it so yes this pathetic company took my money but that's okay. I just had to be honest obviously these losers needed more money than I do. Terrible terrible company.

I wish I could leave negative stars. We bought furniture, reclining couch and love seat, from BigLots. Within months the fabric started pulling apart. About a year later the wood in both sets start breaking. We purchased an extended warranty. We weren't eligible for the warranty because BigLots wanted a detailed explanation as to what happened to the furniture. They wouldn't accept the fact the furniture was poorly made.

I order occur model kit from the site never got anything. the Chinese tracking# stated it was in my mailbox NONONO WRONG. i calledUSPS ask about my packages. need USPS tracking # without they can not help. i ask big lots in Australia , basically NO HELP . it states on Chinese tracking deceived Tony mailbox. But used PAYPAL and i explained NO PROBLEM no get you will get refund. so if you like playing games them try buy but count on your items. Steven levesseur

The old big lots was great compared to the new big lots. They basically carry none of the same stuff and not the same lines at all. Everything just got lower quality. This is not new and improved. Won't be back.
After reading other people's experiences I thought I should add one more thing about the Big Lots in Lapeer, Michigan. When shopping there last Fall I found $38 on the floor and turned it in to a long time employee, a very slim woman, who was working the check out. She quickly took the money and put it in her pocket and did not say one word about it and immediately started talking about her son liking Ovaltine. I expected her to take my name and number if no one claimed it but it was as if I had never turned in any money to her. I knew at that moment if anyone came looking for it they would be told that it hadn't been turned in. I contacted big lots about it and never heard back from them either. I didn't want the money, I wanted the person who lost it to be reunited with it because I'm sure they needed it.

So glad that Big Lots are closing their stores and going out of business. Started as a refreshing retail business that sells good quality products at very reasonable prices but eventually the company decided to increase their profit margins by obtaining and selling the lowest quality junk that doesn’t last. The products they sell are from unreputable companies that falsifies their warranty. We stopped shopping there years ago.

Big lots has changed! Thier prices are outrageous for thier cheap products. They used to be the type where you would find good sales. Well not anymore. Please don't re open stores. I won't be shopping there ever.

I placed an order with Big Lots Clearance on March 16th...I authorized payment on the same day...Whenever I checked to see the progress, I would receive an update saying it was inspected and awaiting the carrier to pick up the package...then they gave me a tracking number that couldn't be used...I later get an email saying it's on its way...then another alert saying I would receive the package in 2-3 days...then they send an alert saying the package has been delivered...However, I never received anything from Big Lots, no carrier information to check if they did deliver to my home or elsewhere... I
I finally realized that I may have gotten scammed...I went on to every email address they had listed, and naturally it was in vain because none of the email address were legit...I'm very disturbed by this because I trusted them and really wanted what I ordered at this point I'm just disappointed and somewhat angry that someone would con me into trusting their site and it's not legit...they stole my money...

Placed and paid for order , got an email saying track your order here, when you go to track the number is non existent. Really upset as I like I'm sure many others are doing it really tough at moment. So when these things come up so cheap you try to get ahead a bit. Scamming people out of money. It's deplorable.

The operator of the scam USED BigLots as a cover. It was either shopysmail.com or service @ biglotsclosedshops.com that produced the copy selling a Ninja Fryer, telling me that it was enroute, and then disappearing after my credit card was approved.

Bought a double recliner from Big Lots. A short time later it started to have problems. Big Lots gave me a Gift Card worth $350.00 to use to buy a new one or anything else from Big Lots. That is how they covered the warranty on the recliner. We went to use the Gift Card that Big Lots issued us but we were told the Gift Card is no longer any good. I can't believe we are just out $350.00. Now they say they won't honor the Warranty ( 350.00 gift card credit )

....A tattooed nefarious manager and employee tried to harass me and my mother while we shopped and spent more $100 dollars in the Huntington,Indiana store.
..This has happened to many customers as well as myself.
..And every time I have shopped at this store employees continue to be hostile towards customers, so we have decided to shop at the Walmart here in Huntington, Indiana.....which has lower cost and better quality products!
...I will be happy to spend my money at the other stores in Huntington,Indiana....which appreciate my business, and have better quality and value!

Theses clowns are scam people because they are going out of business.. they are frauds and criminals

Management team so ignorant don't realize it is against code to shut down bathrooms to public and EMPLOYEES
