Not worth the price
My local gym is very poorly equipped for the price you pay. A lot of the machines are old and worn and often out of service, there is no pool, the changing rooms are awful with single door access and open showers, there is rarely anyone manning the reception desk. If it wasn’t the only gym in an easily walkable distance I would go elsewhere. There is a new build being made, but not due for another 2 years (has already been in progress for about 3 years). I understand other locations are nice though, but it is not my experience.

I went to 4 classes. I hadn't done any exercise for years. The teachers knew this & made sure I was ok & were really helpful.

Made very welcome
Made very welcome, staff friendly, Lisa was very helpful being my fitness instructor, showed me how to use the apparatus especially being a wheelchair user. Very good shower facilities for a wheelchair user.

Not happy with the check in process as…
Not happy with the check in process as this is causing delay. I carry my phone but my son who is also a member doesn't have a phone to check in via phone. When I enquired about this with staff, they said I need to logout and login into better app with my son's creds or do a manual registration.Most of the time they is a huge queue and mostly with new members who are enquiring about joining process. Why don't they have a physical membership card

please reinstate telephone lines into…
please reinstate telephone lines into the local gyms/liesure centres so that queries and any problems can be raised discussed and resolved at a local level. it would be so much better and customer friendly than navigating the switchboard at your call centre in Ireland. Regards Mrs.J.Anthony

From the first day when just visiting i was made to feel very welcome. Staff are always on hand to help me when I have had difficulty signing in. They are always on hand to explain things in the gym.

I have used lots of gyms in my life now I’m 68 over weight and was a bit embarrassed to go to a gym but when I went into this better gym I felt okay as there were people of around my age and I felt very relaxed
