New elderly gym goer
Easy to join. Everything is on an app. Straightforward to use. I had problems gaining entry and staff very helpful, and with other things I wasn’t sure about.

Very friendly staff, they were understanding of my situation, in regard to signing up to my membership.
I signed up to this gym on 24/06/2026, it has great facilities - even if a machine I need is being used, there are alternatives that I can easily hop on!
Having this gym be a 20-minute walk away from my home is very good, it allows me to get my cardio in before/after my workouts!

Gym is overall good
Gym is overall clean, good classes Noveen is amazing! Although the gym area is very small and doesn’t have many machine duplicates

Top class leisure centre
I have been a member of New Addington Leisure Centre since it re-opened at the end of the pandemic and I can honestly say that it was the very best decision I made. All the staff from the moment you walk in are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They all keep the whole building very clean and tidy. The swimming pool is fabulous and the all the lifeguards are great, alert, friendly and helpful. The changing village is kept very clean by all the staff looking after the whole area.
All the exercise classes offered in the studio are well planned, varied and suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. The aqua classes in the pool are very enjoyable too. All the fitness instructors are all excellent. The gym is great too, well equipped and staff are only too happy to help.
I’ve been a member of several different clubs in the past costing a lot more but New Addington Leisure Centre is by far the best for me. I would not want to go elsewhere. I’m very happy there. Free parking too for 3 hours.

A really good way of getting fit
A really good way of getting fit, lots of classes, free parking and a low cost membership. There is also a lady who checks up on you by phone and face to face to check your progress.

Brilliant Support given at New Addington Leisure Centre
Nicky on reception greeted me with her usual upbeat friendly manner. I inquired if I had left my headphones there from a previous visit and she immediately went to check lost property and there were no headphones there. Due to personal circumstances I had a meltdown as I wanted to use the gym with the headphones and now realised that this may not be possible. Nicky’s kindness, empathy and support were overwhelming and she took me to a quiet area and said that she would continue to try and find the headphones. I then realised that I needed to accept that the headphones were lost and I set about doing my gym workout which I know helps my mental health. Due to my circumstances, Nicky had sourced two support groups which she advised may be able to help me at this difficult time. I also found my headphones in a locker. Nicky went above and beyond and I do hope that she will be recognised for her amazing work ethic by management.

My 10 year old and toddler go swimming. It’s been nearly two years and I enjoy our weekly visits to the centre.

I went to apply for gym membership and a swimming improver course. Nicky on the front desk could not have been more helpful. She went the extra mile to assist me signing in and making me feel at ease. The facilities are very good and I am looking forward to using them soon.
