Swim school experience
I have a 9 & 8 year old attending swimming classes. The classes are good but really vary from week to week depending on how many children attend. My 2 have now also been having 1:1 sessions with Swim Teacher Meesha who is fabulous. The kids love her and respond to her instructions. She is very attentive, enthusiastic and adapts quite well to the age/need of the child. Best of all the kids look forward to their lessons each Saturday. Thanks Meesha!!!

Overall it’s ok, lovely swimming teachers. The water is very cold , would be lovely if it’s a bit warmer for kids. Unfortunately had strange encounter in the last visit. I believe I’ve stepped on someone’s urine near the showers or somewhere there. My long dress got soaked and was absolutely disgusting. Also there’s often urine stench around lockers.

Old gym equipment out dated
Well over priced for this service as well £70 pm and get treated like your not even there ignoring emails as well such a poor service all from management to customer service people all need training. I’ll be glad to be joining a JD gym with all new equipment and more much more in way glad this happened thanks better.

The outdoor pool is fantastic!
The outdoor pool is fantastic. Love swimming in the cool waters especially in all this recent sunshine. Such a great facility. The only way to be better would be to extend the hours the Lido is open. If you've not tried it yet...you are missing out on a great facility.

Aquarobics with Suzanne
Aquarobics with Suzanne was a very uncomfortable experience. I am assured that she is a competent Pilates teacher but she needs to know that you cannot use Pilates moves in the water as you are barely moving therefore you are not getting any exercise and you get very cold. There are a lot of spaces in her aquarobics classes as people do not like her teaching methods. Please get some more aqua teachers.

Sessions with Steve
I attend the gym twice weekly with Steve as my instructor. I also attend two Functional Fitness and two Senior Sessions with Steve each week.
Steve as an absolute asset to your company. He is professional, informative and caring in what he teaches. He listens to any health issues you may have and works with you to ensure you are getting the most out of each session. He encourages you along to way so you do not feel inclined to give up.
I had never attended a gym before I retired but I am glad I now do and Steve is there to help improve my fitness levels.

Aquarobics is the best exercise when it…
Aquarobics is the best exercise when it is taught properly. You have to be able to hear instructions, keep moving or you get cold and exercise both sides of your body equally. Unfortunately this does not happen at Thursday Aqua classes. It is trying to be a Pilates class in water which does not work. We got very cold so have stopped attending - leaving only 2 proper Aqua classes at Uxbridge. A couple of years ago we had an Aqua class EVERY day. Please can we have some more proper Aquarobics classes. Thank you.

Steve is a great coach , he takes time to assess your level of fitness and any injuries before developing any exercise program. He inspires confidence and knows his stuff a great asset to the sports centre

Steve, is amazing, his stretch classes have transformed my mobility and has also given me a positive mindset. The Monday and Friday Old Dears club is wonderful mainly because of Steve. He has also put together a personal program for me in the gym, which is continuously helping me improve my general health.

What a wonderful swimming teachers they have. Very dedicated and caring teachers. They are truly the best teachers among the Better in west London area. Hamid the teacher for my daughter, within a month of class she had progressed to next level of swimming. He is really a brilliant teacher. We made the right choice to choose the right centre for swimming class.
