Staff so helpful.I was .it's cool and well maintained. I was referred from the Lewisham Cardio rehab on a 12 week programme with Alex ..It was brilliant ! He was brilliant, so supportive. Gradually building up our confidence which is why I have joined the gym.

I enrolled in swimming lessons at Forest Hill Pool this year after researching several local facilities. While I initially had some payment issues, the staff resolved them promptly.

After a few months, I can confidently say the pool is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and professional. The lessons are excellent for learners of all ages. I've a great progress in myself.

My instructor, Hardy, is outstanding: his teaching is clear, patient, and engaging, making lessons both effective and enjoyable.

Highly recommend Forest Hill Pool, especially for those serious about learning to swim.

I am writing this review about a deeply distressing incident that occurred during my recent visit to one of your facilities. As a registered disabled person, I was subjected to racism, verbal abuse, and threatening behaviour by members of your staff, which has left me feeling extremely uncomfortable, distressed, and unsafe. I must say I got loud too because no one was listening to me, but they all came together and didn't let me use the swimming pool and kicked me out.
Despite politely requesting the staff to check the CCTV footage regarding an issue, I was ignored and shouted by One male staff member with a visible throat tattoo became particularly aggressive and threatened me with a permanent ban from the premises. Another staff member, a heavyset man with a beard, was equally rude and dismissive.
This kind of behaviour is wholly unacceptable under any circumstances, let alone when directed at a vulnerable person who should be entitled to fair treatment, reasonable adjustments, and dignity at all times.

Only one member of staff showed any professionalism and took the time to listen to me, for which I am grateful. Unfortunately, this does not undo the distress caused by the others’ conduct.
I am requesting
A full investigation into the incident, including a review of CCTV footage.
A formal apology from the facility.
Confirmation that steps will be taken to prevent such behaviour in the future.
Your staff need to improve to behave professionally in this kind of case and not shout at a customer.

I received reply saying that,matter is already being resolved but this is wrong no one apologise to me, there were 4 white staff member they were insulting me, and didn't let me

Such a shame that Forest Hill pools has lost such brilliant instructors. Also cleaning is extremely poor; fitness room floor is very dirty which is horrid when doing yoga and Pilates and toilets are smelly, unclean and often blocked.
There are still some good instructors left, but they are being badly let down by management.

My son is under 16, and thus needs to book to be able to access the gym, but bookings are rarely available when he needs them. He's been told that if he goes in with me, and asks, there should still be space, but he is autistic and not seeing bookings in the app makes him too anxious to try.

When I go in, there are always spaces, so this is mismanagement of the bookings, and this broken booking system has effectively shut him off from the service and had a marked negative impact on him, unlike at the Better at South Norwood which managed their bookings properly.

Great gym ! I come four days a week and it’s always clean, machines working and staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend

First time using the gym here, was awesome and the staff were great. Really helpful and attentive. Looking forward to trying out some of the classes too

Enjoyed using the pool but mostly loved the toddlers world session for my little one. The staff were polite and friendly, facilities clean and good value for money.

Ths was my first visit to the gym and the lady on reception was very helpful and welcoming and explained clearly what I needed to do om this and future visits.

Easy to use website, great facilities at my local centre and polite and helpful staff members.

Friendly calm place. Clean changing room. Appeared calm (not hectic) when I went .
Not keen on having to have same sex changing area , a bit wierd for me.
Gym clean and staff friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Wish I had been told to have a padlock for upstairs lockers.

Forest Hill pool is one of the most unprofessional, incompetent and amateurish services I’ve ever experienced. Classes never start on time, teachers are either late or focused elsewhere. There is no consistency as the teachers change from week to week leaving the new teacher not knowing what has been taught or achieved from the week before. The attitude from the swimming teachers towards the children is disgusting and disgraceful leaving the children in fear. My child was present for class on time as usual yet there was no teacher for 10 mins, a teacher finally turned up, requested the children to do two laps only for another teacher to take the young children out the pool for 15/20 mins to discuss pool safety however I don’t understand why pool safety is being addressed now after my child has been in the same class for 5/6 months to which pool safety should of been addressed before he started this class 5/6 months ago. Where’s the organisation? Where’s the structure? Where’s the consistency? After noticing this continuous lack of communication and professionalism I presented my concerns to the manager only to be challenged, her justifying the swimming teachers actions and worst of all couldn’t provide me a break down of what pool safety is. A swimming pool manager who doesn’t know what pool safety is the final straw. The children spend more time being alone, being spoken to rather than learning or being taught . This experience has been terrible, a waste of money, time, lack any professionalism and a clear demonstration this faction of the organisation only care for themselves and not to improve the young children. The only positive was the young man on reception who showed empathy but other than him the staff should be sacked especially the manager.

I will never be attending forest hill swimming pool again. Disgraceful!!!!

After going to this gym for 9 months I felt i should give a review, this is an extremely well managed gym/pool, the staff have been excellent, professional, friendly and clearly know their roles, the place has a lovely atmosphere, I see smiles and hear laughter regularly, clearly its a place people enjoying being in and that has to be down to the management. Well done Betta gym for giving such a wonderful place to spend a few hours trying to be healthier.

Everything was fine, everything was as I expected it to be from the induction, which was also friendly and informative. Overall everything is fine.

A scam! Sign up for a child's swimming lessons, don't receive any details or log-in information. Online help + customer service impenetrable. Phone line just hangs up. Even complaints don't reach the complaints team. Beware super long notice periods an no option to freeze.

We have been taking over grandson Kayden to swim for all for a few months now & started him swimming lessons last week.
He is learning so much from your wonderful teachers who make everything fun!
The facilities are always very clean & tidy. Staff are always friendly & helpful.
