We had such a wonderful experience at the disco roller skate party! From the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed, and I really appreciated that the party started on time with no delays. All the staff were incredibly kind and professional—from the reception team to the DJ.
The party room was perfectly arranged with juice for the kids, which was such a thoughtful touch. All the parents were impressed and kept asking me where I found out about this party—I’m sure you’ll be getting more bookings soon!
Most importantly, the kids had an amazing time skating, dancing, and enjoying every moment. Everything was well organised and stress-free for us as parents. I honestly can’t think of anything to improve—it was all fantastic. Highly recommended!

Most welcoming
Just joined Faringdon the staff friendly helpful and always there if you need them. My first gym session on own i got a bit confused but one of the staff was there to help. Did my first aqua aerobic which was fun even though I couldn’t do everything. The instructor was very helpful and encouraging. I have found Faringdon very welcoming and looking forward to the months to come. Thank you to all the staff for making me part of your special centre.

Entry to facilities
The entry system is unnecessarily complicated. The QR code scanning system is difficult and cumbersome to use and frequently does not work. Frequently it is necessary to go looking for a staff member to be let in. If there is a requirement to leave the exercise room for any reason the entry is programmed not to accept a re entry request. I have frequently observed people struggle and resorting to the search for a staff member. I have to add that when they are present staff are always obliging, polite and helpful. Although you require a date to be entered this problem is ongoing every day.

Hi Alexander,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We're sorry to hear about the frustration you've experienced with our entry system. Your concerns about the QR code scanner and re-entry limitations are completely valid, and we understand how disruptive that can be to your visit.
Please know that we are actively reviewing the functionality and reliability of the QR system to ensure it works more smoothly and consistently for all members. We're also evaluating how re-entry permissions are managed, especially in cases where someone needs to briefly step out of a room.
We're glad to hear our staff have been helpful and polite—your recognition of their support means a lot. In the meantime, if you continue having issues, please don’t hesitate to flag them to our team. We're here to help and committed to improving your experience.
Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us get better.
Kind regards,
Charmaine

My 8 years old had her roller skating birthday at Faringdon leisure centre.
She, her friends as well as her parents had an amazing time with the music and lights. The children who didn’t have rollers skates could borrow some.
After the hour we had access to an other room where were the children would be able to eat. Thanks to the welcoming staff accessibility the children very comfortable.
I would recommend this place.
Thank you to all the team for providing such a great service
