More accessible classes for those who are clinically vulnerable
You need more classes for those that are clinically vulnerable eg cancer patients or those with low immunity. I’d love to join in on a yoga or Pilates class but worried about other gym members being unwell. The Monday lunch time class isn’t enough.
Can’t you schedule some classes at both Donngyn’s and horley? Make them more accessible as not all disabilities are visible and you’re stopping those who are disabled or medically vulnerable from accessing health classes.

We understand that some customers may feel more comfortable attending classes in settings that better meet their individual health and wellbeing needs, and we recognise that not all disabilities or medical conditions are visible.
Your suggestion for additional yoga and Pilates classes, and for these to be offered at both Donyngs and Horley, has been passed on to the centre management team for their consideration as part of ongoing reviews.

Enjoyed all of my visits
I enjoyed all of my visits to the BetterGym Redhill and with a few adjustments I was able to complete my usual workouts, thanks to the range of equipment available. The culture was really positive - staff members and gym members alike were friendly and helpful. Having access to a pool was a bonus, with plenty of space outside of lesson times. The app was reliable and the facilities were clean and well-managed. Thanks for a great gym experience!

The customer service are not efficient
The customer service are not efficient. I called the customer service to make payment for my son's class due to issue i had with my bank card.They sent me a secured link to make payment for my son's swimming after I did, they acknowledge my payment.the payment wasn't uploaded for 2 months. My son was sent out of swimming because of their mistake. And I was forced to pay 12.50 for direct debit. I explained that the cancellation was not from me as I have never missed a payment before.I called and nothing was done about it.
This has really affected my son as he felt embarrassed among his peers.
Why send a 9 year child away from a lesson when you can easily call his parent to ask about it. The boy doesn't pay for himself. The parent does.

We're sorry to hear about your experience and the distress this caused both you and your son.
Having reviewed the account, we can confirm that the July Direct Debit payment was attempted twice before your bank provider cancelled the Direct Debit agreement.
We do not have the ability to cancel Direct Debits on behalf of customers through our systems, as we can only update the Bank card details.
As the Direct Debit had been cancelled and two months' payments had been missed, you were asked to pay the outstanding balance along with the £12.50 joining fee.
This is part of a standard process we follow when a Membership or lesson agreement has been cancelled.
Had only one payment been missed, the situation may have been different.
We're sorry that your son was unable to participate in his lesson and understand your concerns regarding the impact this had on him.
We also appreciate your feedback on the matter!

First time going to the gym
This was the first time for me going to the gym and very apprehensive, an appointment with the fitness instructor Brendan Jones put me at ease straight away talking about various things I need to do and what goals I wanted to achieve, then went through using the equipment and safety aspects of it, he also gave me a workout plan for the first month then we will reassess. Great experience at Donyngs Leisure Centre, Redhill Surrey.

It is a standard gym
It is a standard gym, but there’s way too many cardio machines, almost the entire gym is cardio machines. Also, there’s only one smith machine 😭, it’s always a fight to get it. Also, I’m 18 and almost every session a staff member asks me if I’m above the 16 which is very annoying.

Very efficient joining process
Very efficient joining process, however it is all done on-line and feels rather impersonal. The facilities are very good and so was the one class I have attended so far. However, booking for classes is difficult as you have to beat everyone else to book - and end up on the waiting list

I get to have fitness classes
I get to have fitness classes, swimming, gym with my package which is a great thing. First time doing pilatte, barre feet, circuit fittness classes. It breaks the monotomy of doing gym alone. Plus the classes are fabulous!
