A fantastic, welcoming airline. Staff are friendly and the planes clean. Can’t fault them from start to finish. Flew to Bangkok on Emirates and Bangkok airlines is a better airline than them

Terrible company with no customer service. Unreachable by email and useless chat support. If you have any issues, they won’t lift a finger. No compensation or assistance was offered following the Thailand-Cambodia conflict over the red zones

Had a great experience fly from bangkok to krabi. The service was great and fash never seen them work so quick. Short hall had full meal and drink which was great. I thought price was good 80 return pp with 25kg bag each

Note that Bangkok Airwars add 50% to the price in hidden fees for flights to Koh Samui. The 50% are hidden in small links and never added to the price until invoicing. We just paid 724 USD for two return tickets to Koh Samui, but when we received the invoice, the amount was increased by 45% to 1.049 USD. So they are charging us 327 USD in fees without adding it to the price. So two return tickets to Samui cost more than 1.000 doller for a 1 hour domestic flight

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service we have received regarding our previously booked tickets. We booked our flights well in advance, but since december a red (do not travel) advisory has been issued for our destination. Under this advisory, traveling is not allowed — and if we were to travel, we would not be insured.

Despite these serious circumstances, we have been told that Bangkok Airways is unable to assist us unless we pay additional fees. We find it unreasonable and unfair that we are being asked to bear extra costs for a situation completely beyond our control.

We expected flexibility, understanding, and support — especially given that safety advisories and insurance restrictions make travel impossible. Instead, we have been left with no workable solution other than paying more.

This has been the worst customer service experience we have ever had.

Despite the fight we took was just a short 1 hour flight and in economy class, the crew members brought a top quality complex and satiating fish meal to us, it was delicious to eat (so good that even my brother, who doesn't generally like fish, liked this meal a lot) and we felt we were exploring the thai cuisine even before landing to our destination. The plane was an Airbus and was very comfortable both about the materials of the seats and about the legroom which was very large. The crew members were very kind at us and that was the anticipation of the kindness of the people we met after landing to Phuket. Thank you very much for your kindness, guys. The travel was impeccable, all excellent.

Bangkok Airways – A Consistently Pleasant Experience

It is always a delight to fly with an airline where the cabin crew are constantly smiling and genuinely friendly. We regularly use Bangkok Airways for flights between the islands and Bangkok, and the experience is consistently positive.

The service is excellent, the aircraft are clean and well maintained, and the onboard food is good for short-haul regional flights.

Bangkok Airways continues to set a high standard for regional travel in Thailand and remains one of our preferred airlines in the region.

Delayed on the departure. Baggage delayed as well at arrival. That’s crazy. Never again

Ich war positiv überrascht von Bangkok Airways. Obwohl es eine eher günstige Airline ist und mein Flug nur etwa eine Stunde gedauert hat, gab es trotzdem eine warme Mini-Mahlzeit an Bord – und die war wirklich lecker. Das Gericht aus Fisch und Kartoffeln hat deutlich besser geschmeckt, als man es auf so kurzen Flügen erwarten würde.

Insgesamt fand ich den Service sehr aufmerksam und für eine Kurzstrecke überdurchschnittlich gut. Bangkok Airways hat mich definitiv positiv überrascht, und ich würde jederzeit wieder mit ihnen fliegen.

Flight was in time, but had to wait more than 40 minutes for luggage on a domestic flight from Phuket to Bangkok.

Habe Knieprobleme und hatte angefragt ob ich mit Behindertenfahrzeug zum Flugzeug gebracht werden könnte, denn der Transferbus hat (Thailike) einen so hohen Einstieg das ich da einfach Probleme habe rauf zu kommen. Meine Anfrage wurde nicht bestätigt bzw. es wurde nachgefragt ob ich sitzen kann, ob ich die Treppe rauf kann, ob ich ein Attest habe, wie alt ich bin. Das alles ist kein Problem war meine Antwort nur der Transferbus ist das Problem. Bei Email 8 hin und her bin ich ausgestiegen. Ich habe dann geschrieben die Airline nach Thailand hat mein Problem ohne Zögern mit Rollstuhl verbringen gelöst. Dann hab ich nichts mehr von Bangkok Air gehört. Ich hab mir beim Flug nach Samui im Transferbus schon so mein Knie verletzt durch den hohen Einstieg, bin dann mal gespannt wie es beim Rückflug wird. Bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht von dem schlechten Service, man zahlt ja schließlich.

Two flights with Bangkok Airways, two times delayed. But the second one was the worst, 4 emails (2hours before our scheduled flight) with everytime a new departure time. At the time of writing this review we are already 3hours bevind schedule.

A full day of holiday lost to this incompetent airline. Which they try to compensate with 250B in vouchers...

Meine Erfahrung nach mit Bangkok airways ist gespalten .

Positiv es lief bei uns zumindest ein glück alles relativ pünktlich ab Abfertigung war auch okay .
Aber das Personal fande ich nicht so einladend sonst freundlich .
Am schlimmsten aber fande das die Flugzeuge dieser airline (zumindest unseres )
Total ungepflegt alt und abgeranzt war .
Das Flugzeug sah so aus als würde es nicht gut gewartet werden weshalb ich auch nie wieder mit dieser airline fliegen werde .
Immerhin war dass Essen lecker aber dennoch Sicherheit hat höste Priorität in der EU dürfte mit Sicherheit so wie der Flieger war save nicht abheben durch die schlechte Wartung.

We were over 24 hours delayed on a Bangkok Airways flight and BA say that vi most complain to Qatar and Qatar say we must complain to BA. No one takes responsibility :-( It is now 7 month ago.

I liked the service, the staff was polite and pleasant . There was delicious food on the plane.

Auf dem Flug von BKK nach USM alles in Ordnung. Die Flugzeuge A319 sind zwar schon etwas älter, dafür aber alles sauber und das Kabinenpersonal ist sehr nett. Es gibt auf dem 50 Min Flug sogar eine warme Mahlzeit und kostenlos Wasser.

Wir sind mit Bangkok Airways als Partnerflugesellschaft von Condor von Bangkok nach Koh Samui geflogen. Beim checkin über den Hauptanbieter wurden uns getrennte Plätze zugeteilt. Nach dem ich per Email unkompliziert und schnell Kontakt mit Bangkok Airways hatte, bekamen wir Plätze nebeneinander, sogar ein Fensterplatz war dabei.
Der Flug dauerte nur eine knappe Stunde, es gab eine leckere, warme Mahlzeit und Getränke, sowie Kaffee. Das Bordpersonal war sehr freundlich. Alles top! Daraus können andere Airlines sicher einiges lernen.
