I've flown many times with Bangkok Airways. Their staff are always extremely friendly and super efficient. Planes are immaculately clean. Inflight service, even on short route is very good (offering meal service even on 1hr domestic). I've never had any issues with this airline and highly recommend.

Best domestic airline that I used in Asia. Reliable, never late. I was surprised with a delicious food in a short flight. Shrimps was served. Can you imagine? Lovely stewards as well. I will certainly 100% will fly with this airline if I back to Bangkok.

Mit reduzierter Kapazität und in einer Alleinstellung kann man die Preise so gestalten wie es gefällt und Gewinnmaxierung betreiben.
Blackmailing passengers to pay extortionate prices for extra luggage
We paid in advance for an extra bag check.
Just 2 days before the flight I tried numerous times to pay for 1 more extra bag in order to avoid the excruciating rates for extra luggage that you show at the airport.
Although I spent a lot of time online, your website didn’t allow me to do so (showing a rotating icon which was obviously a glitch in your system). i don’t know if you make your website deliberately, so that you blackmail people to pay more at the airport, but this is appalling.
I made numerous attempts to call your centre on +66 (0) 2270 6699 but nobody picks up. Another fictitious service!
At the airport your ground staff pressured us to pay the crazy rates for extra luggage, even after explaining to them the problems we had with paying online and demonstrating the disfunctional website and showing how the call centre doesn’t respond. I asked them for their names and they refused to give them and show accountability.

Anschlussflug von Bangkok nach Koh Samui und zurück mit Bangkok Airways war durchweg eine positive Erfahrung und hob sich hinsichtlich Pünktlichkeit, Service, Freundlichkeit/Aufmerksamkeit und Verpflegung deutlich vom Langstreckenflug mit Thai Airways ab. Zudem kommt vorbildlicherweise weniger Plastikverpackung und tlw. Mehrweggeschirr zum Einsatz.
Don’t fly this airline, simple as that!
Terrible customer service, check-in staff don’t know the rules for destination you travel to demanded you book hotel for all your trip in advance. You must have documented that you booked all your stay at hotel at the destination. This is the most ridiculous thing because I travel with many other Airlines and never had any issues if you have one hotel and you book later on your trip if you gonna travel around different cities or have family you stay with … They denied boarding because of this and I had to fly other airline. Fly far away from this airline so you don't lose a lot of money and make you delayed for several days. Bangkok Airways knows how to create problems and ruin vacations for the smallest. Even paid more for this ticket because I thought it was a quality airline... You will get nothing. The only thing is that you have to pay more for nothing. Advise all acquaintances and on review here to never travel with this company. Horrible customer service.
Disgraceful
Disgraceful. I was told I had to book flights before I could book my cats onboard. After buying 20,000 THB of tickets they inform me they do not allow long haired cats! Cancellation takes 80% of the money!
Otherwise good service, but refuses to take responsibility for luggage damage
I was initially very impressed by the airline - they don't nickel-and-dime like most other airlines, have good service, and on one airport, they even had a lounge with snacks set up for all passengers (including economy), for free.
Unfortunately, one of my suitcases got destroyed during a trip (the handle of a roller bag could no longer be extended). I get it, things happen - but when I reached out to the airline, they called this "minor damage", stated that "airline liability does not extend to normal wear and tear or minor cosmetic damage that does not affect the overall functionality of the baggage", and insisted on this despite me following up and clearly stating that it *did* affect the functionality. Without the handle, the bag can no longer be used as a roller bag, making it useless.
It's a shame that an otherwise good airline ruined the experience like this by refusing to handle damage fairly.

My checked baggage was damaged upon arrival. I immediately informed the staff, but they showed little interest in resolving the issue.
I also contacted customer service afterwards and sent photos of the damage, but I never received any response.
Overall, I am very disappointed with both the handling of damaged luggage and the lack of customer support.
WARNING! NO Customer Service & POOR Website Functionalities
I wanted to reschedule a flight I booked. There is no option to do this via their website/App. I wrote to them twice to get instructions how to get this done. No reply from Bangkok Airways since 12 x days. So, if you book with them and you need to reschedule a flight you're screwed.
Top Service! Nicht unser letzter Flug mit BA
Es war unser erster (und definitiv nicht letzter) Flug mit Bangkok Airways. Von dieser Fluggesellschaft können sich deutsche Airlines zwei Scheiben abschneiden. Preis-Leistung war völlig i.O. wir haben für drei Personen 750,-€ für Hin- und Rückflug (BKK-USM-BKK) gezahlt und einen Service erhalten, von dem wir sehr überrascht waren. Angefangen das JEDER Fluggast von BA Zugang zur BA-Loge hatte und sich vor seinem Flug mit Getränken und kleinen Snacks verpflegen konnte bis hin zum überaus freundlichen Bordpersonal, welches uns extra aus der Warteschlange gezogen hat und uns in den Schatten gestellt hat, damit unser Sohn (schlafend auf meinem Arm) nicht der prallen Sonne ausgesetzt war. Der Flugbegleiter hat gesehen das unser 3-jähriger Sohn am schlafen war und brachte uns sofort zwei Kissen (so aufmerksam war nichtmal das Bordpersonal bei der Lufthansa mit der wir geflogen sind!) , damit er bequem schlafen konnte (es war ein 50-Minuten Flug!). Des Weiteren bekam jeder Fluggast (A319 ca. 138 Passagiere!) ein warmes Essen (nochmal es war ein Kurzstreckenflug!) sowie Heissgetränke serviert. Eine Airline wo Service und Freundlichkeit einfach großgeschrieben wird! Wir können jedem empfehlen mit BA zu fliegen.

Ich war sehr überrascht von meinem Flug nach Ko Samui. Die Maschine war sauber und relativ neu und selbst die warme Mahlzeit auf einem 1 stündigen Flug war schmackhaft.

Aufgrund des Iran Konflikts und den damit verbundenen Flugausfällen über den Nahen Osten konnten wir unseren Emirates Flug nach Thailand nichts antreten.
Mit Bangkok Airways wollten wir ursprünglich einen Inlandsflug antreten.
Daraufhin hatten wir eine Stornierungs- beziehungsweise Erstattungsanfrage drei Wochen vor Abflug gestellt.
Leider erhielten wir trotz mehrerer Erinnerungen erst nach dem Abflug des Bangkok Airways Fluges die Rückmeldung, dass die Tickets nicht erstattungsfähig sind.
Wir sind massiv enttäuscht über die fehlende Kulanz und verzögerte Reaktionsfähigkeit der Airline und werden künftig keinen Flug mit Bangkok Airways buchen.
