I ordered 120 cupcakes for a work event at quite short notice. Anna and Emily followed up quickly and understood my requirements. They created bespoke images in keeping with the theme of the event and shared a 3D preview for approval. They then baked, decorated and delivered the cupcakes to 3 separate addresses within 24 hours. The cupdakes were delicious and the feedback from my colleagues has been fantastic.

I ordered a customised cake for my son 5th birthday party. The cake was delicious and beautifully done .Just exactly the design I placed.My son,his friends and colleagues were so much amazed with the paw patrol cake design and ballons .Delivery too was so prompt.
Thank you Bakerdays for putting smiles on my son Justice face, your cake made his birthday more memorable❤️.

We needed a cake for my mother’s 100th Birthday. We would have used our local cake makers but sadly they had been flooded in the recent storms. An internet search took us to Bakerdays. We ordered the cake and unfortunately there was some misunderstanding with the delivery. We contacted Bakerdays via email and the wonderful Emily made sure we had a tasty cake on time to celebrate my mum’s birthday with our large family. Thank you Bakerdays - a brilliant service and a delicious cake.

I wouldn’t use this company again. The quality of the product visually left much to be desired. Cake was not symmetrical and was uneven on top too. It looked very amateurish. They did send a replacement which they assured me would be the best quality- but was disappointed with this too. It didn’t arrive in time and the shape was still awful. It would have been embarrassing to give this as a cake. The customer services/communication was good but no refund was offered despite me asking. The advertised cake was misleading to the end product and the quality left a lot to be desired it did taste ok though.

I am very happy with my brownies and cute soft toy leopard from Bakerdays. In the original order the wrong soft toy had been included so i contacted Bakerdays who replied straight away and said i could keep the soft toy and that they would send out the one i had ordered for next day delivery. And the soft toy arrived the next day. Am delighted with the cakes i have had from here and the friendly service i have received. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Cannot fault this company in any way.
My purchased item was ordered, dispatched & received in perfect condition & was exactly as I'd requested & within good time to present to the recipient on their Birthday.
Some negative reviews have been posted, but personally I cannot fault anything & would Highly recommend.
Only thing I could criticise & mention is the cost of the cake size, but the end result was well worthwhile.

Non delivery

I have read both positive and negative reviews and I decided to give this business a chance. Big mistake. There should be a health warning about doing business with this company. . "Do it at your own perils " "Buyers beware ".

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter and the cake should be delivered today. No notification from Bakerdays about the courier DPD. I waited till 2.00 pm and finally called the company. The line said the agents were all busy and I left a message, I pressed the keypad no 4 to say that the message was urgent. No one called me back. What is the point of ordering a birthday cake for a special day? Does Bakerdays expect me to rush out to M&S now to see if there's any half decent cake available. Can I have a refund please as I don't need it next week.

Would give these a zero if i could.
Ordered 2 lots of cookies on 18th December for a Christmas party, delivered 24th and were 75% broken and not what I ordered!
Complained on 24th and was informed that their normal baker was in hospital and they had a replacement baker so orders were slightly different! 18 OF THE 24 WENT IN THE BIN! This baker couldn't make cookies to order, it actually looked like a child had made them, and this was not a good excuse so i asked for a refund. I AM STILL WAITING!!!! HAVE ASKED 3 TIMES NOW!
The service is awful and the customer service worse!!!

I come to bakerdays regularly for my family birthdays and this one was a very special request from my little one who wanted a specific design. It was no problem for the design team who were more than happy to make sure it was perfect. The cake was vegan for my little ones needs and he absolutely loved it!

Very impressed with Bakerdays! Customising and ordering a cake for my daughters birthday was so quick and easy. The cake arrived fresh and the way they print on the icing is really impressive. The cake tasted amazing, so much that my daughter has already asked if she can have a Bakerdays cake for every birthday now! I would highly recommend.

I ordered graduation cake and made an error in the date. I contacted bakerdays who responding quickly and changed the error. The cake arrived on date as promised and was lovely. Definitely will be using their services again.

Absolutely horrendous. 1 item was missing from the order. It has been 2 weeks and I am still waiting to hear back from them. All of the phone numbers on the email signatures don't work. Contacting them is IMPOSSIBLE. Every email they send back contradicts one another saying that there is a manager I can speak to then the next email says there is none.....

Their last email to me was on the 14th and I replied within 48 hours. I then had to reach out again on the 22nd saying what is happening to which they said "we did not get a response from yourself".... This customer service team needs to be looked into as it is made up lies, contradicting statements and late replies.

The cake arrived damaged as it was sent in a box that was too big for it and moved around the box! The topper was missing.
Poor customer service.

I’m really loathe to write a negative review of a small business but my attempts to rectify the issue with the company have been completely ignored. I spent almost £80 for a celebration pack, including 3 helium balloons, a cake and candle. The cake was fine but I received just one balloon (not the balloon I ordered) which was completely deflated. The candle was completely missing. I sent an email, with photographic evidence and asked for help, they initially responded but once I asked for a partial refund, which I thought fair, I was completely ghosted. Chances are you might have a positive experience with this company, but is it worth taking that risk when you are planning for a special event. Really, really poor customer care. Go elsewhere.

This company used to be so good, I've used them many times over the last 5 or 6 years. They have grown, and in doing so, have forgotten the most important part - customer service!

I placed an order on 11th December. Part of it was delivered on 20th December, - cupcakes. But the other part, an Airloonz Snowman never arrived.

I sent an email on 1st January, followed by two phone calls, on 6th and 7th January, leaving a message each time.

I just want Bakerdays to refund my money ,and notify me when that's done.

Please do not trust such an incompetent company who seem hell bent in taking your money then failing to deliver.
I ordered Brownies and Balloon for my niece, the Brownies arrived but the balloon did not.
Incidentally Customer Services will not talk on phone they insist on everything via email….no human touch.
I was appalled by their offer to send a FREE balloon out. I questioned how on earth could this be free as I had already paid for the blasted balloon. Also to send a Birthday balloon several days after the event would be pointless.
As a compromise for their failings it was agreed that a Letterbox cake should be sent, I did ask for a cake with an message of apology….but they wouldn’t
So, as Christmas was imminent I requested an Xmas theme to the cake, Bakerdays asked for recipient, and address (despite part deliver they did not know address???). So what happened to the cake….. NOTHING IT DID NOT ARRIVE !!!!!!!
I have requested a refund as technically they have broken the contract between us.
So please, please think twice about placing an order with this Company. I now question the authenticity of the 5 star reviews. The 1 star reviews are there for a reason which are intended as warnings….so please take heed.

Bakerdays created a photo cake and photo balloon for my Mum's 80th birthday, which was on Christmas Day. The cake and balloon arrived Christmas Eve and the cake was absolutely delicious the following day and even when there was a slice left a week later! My Mum was totally made up and rated the cake- she is a very experienced baker so knows her cakes! Thank you to Bakerdays for making such a memorable occasion:-)

I ordered a birthday cake for my friend well ahead on the 16th of December. I made it crystal clear that I needed my delivery on the 27th of December (my friend’s birthday), and I specifically paid extra ( £17!) for it to be delivered by 11:30.

We received neither the cake nor any communication from this company regarding any update on the status of the delivery. Our day was ruined and my friend was left without a cake on her very special day.

I expected that, if they were unable to deliver the cake on this day, to let me know at the the time of booking that this would not be possible. Despite this, I received no communication whatsoever from them, and I was not able to reach them by phone the whole day.

Lovely and moist,lots of black cherry middle and tasted of good quality chocolate.
We meant to freeze one for Christmas...we ate it instead,really pleased,not overpriced and arrived in perfect condition.

My cake never arrived, apparently now it is at the service point awaiting collection some 5 days after the birthday celebration. Wrote an email received a reply that someone would contact me within 24 hrs, rang to be told I would receive an email explaining next steps, apparently they had a massive corporate order and they were struggling to keep up. Then I got a response offering a free cake in the future (as if I will be using them again) or a 50% refund. I responded by saying no a full refund or I will take it further apparently I will now get a full refund in 10-15 days due to delays with the bank. This company needs to rethink their strategy, I hope their corporate customers enjoyed their cake, as the rest of us have to suffer, I will never use this company again and I definitely would not recommend, it would have been 0 stars if allowed.
