What a load of rubbish I got one for my camper wish I never bothered my mate also got one he says same pure rubbish.
If this company swear by there products should take them back as crap.
Over priced don’t waste your money

Brought an Avtex W195TS for my Campervan. Looks nice, picture quality ok but the real reason we bought it was that I could connect it to my iPhone Hotspot and stream tv through all the apps. Unfortunately, no app for More 4 or My5 and you can’t watch live tv on the ITVX app! I should have checked these things before purchasing, beware!

Chose a 3 times more expensive Avtex supposedly all singing, all dancing smart tv over competitors because I believed it would be best choice in my motorhome. A very expensive mistake, it has been an awful experience. Connected tv to my roof mounted max view aerial and booster. Regardless of where I was located channel choice was always poor, sometimes only managing a couple of BBC channels in total, sometimes only a few non BBC ones and even then reception would be poor. As for all the other features well they were non existent. Bought a Fire TV stick, broadband router and roof mounted antenna to improve performance. It was to enable me to use all the other available features. Complete waste of money, Chanel choice is slightly better but reception and viewing pleasure is non existent barely 2 seconds of content and then signal drops out, it is impossible to watch anything all the way through, a 60 minutes programme can take 80+ minutes to play if I even get to see a whole episode! I can’t watch terrestrial tv, digital tv, streaming without interruption. TV struggles to connect to internet, won’t connect to hotspot. It has been an expensive, frustrating nightmare of a purchase and I WOULD NOT recommend it to anyone. 🤬🤬

Purchased Avtex 5G AMR985 for picking up local free wifi…. Feeling totally “ripped off” by the misleading product description…

It’s not 5G ! For example, it uses old cat4 technology, whereas my old iPhone 12 is cat6…

Raised this issue in Mid-February’23, by emailing level 2 customer support, after level 1 confirmed that this is indeed only a cat4 product…

Still awaiting a response from Avtex level 2 support and it’s already the 5th of March’23…

Don’t waste your money, and just use an old cat6 phone as a hotspot instead!

I see a lot of people say poor be it sound or picture.
I think from my 3 uses to date its great though expensive and I am not an LG fan and the systems like or is there's.
NOT 5 stars as screen broke from small impact to easy for van tv i think and is £200 to fix -W249TS-

Purchased a W195TS TV (The smallest they have.) and a AB195BT Soundbar together.
I'm very impressed with the build quality of both, but I was not impressed with the picture quality straight out of the box. All the preset picture modes were unwatchable! After three days I was on the point of returning the tv for a refund because I could not work out how to change the picture settings! Turns out the picture settings are in the 'Other Settings' menu not in the 'Picture' menu.
The Sound Bar comes with a connecting bracket so it can be attached neatly under the TV. But there is a warning that it should only be done when the TV is wall mounted. (No mention of this in the sales information.)
I wanted to attach the Sound Bar to the TV and stand them on the tv shelf in my caravan. The solution was to attach the flat part of the TV stand to the bottom of the Sound Bar with strong double sided adhesive tape. This works well and is a stable set-up.
If you want to get a brilliant picture out of one of these TVs try these settings:
Backlight 95. Contrast 70. Brightness 64. Sharpness 0. Color 56. Tint R2.
Advanced Controls -
Dynamic Contrast: Off. Gamma: 1.9.
Picture Options-
Noise Reduction: Off. Real Cinema: Off.
Then select 'Apply to all inputs'.
Now I've done all that it really is a 5 star set-up.

I bought the AMR985 which has been problematic from the day I had it. The first time it took 2 weeks to repair and they wouldn’t send a replacement even though the device had never worked. It does work now but even though there are a million options to change setting which you really don’t need one feature - the ability to read sms messages sent to the sim - cannot be done. This means that I cannot log on to the Vodafone web site to check my data usage because, for security reasons, they send a text message to the sim. I can take the sim out and put it in my phone but I am the disconnected from the internet. A poor oversight from Avtex

I cannot fault the picture quality of my new Smart TV in my motorhome. However I was disappointed that the apps for Britbox, Ch4 and My5 are not available. BBC iplayer and ITV Hub are OK. For a company that claims to be "British" designed, I find this disappointing. But underneath it does look like a Korean TV (LG) in disguise.

My Avtex tv has just lost the picture but sound and channels work ok. Typical it’s out of warranty so now Avtex want £149 to repair. I only watch the tv when I use my motorhome so reckon the tv been used about 100 times. If this was your tv indoors that’s only 3 months use. I thought these tvs were meant to be virtually unbreakable. Then they had the cheek to say I could buy another one for £349. No way I will be looking for another supplier especially if after 3 months use they breakdown.

Purchased a new 21.5" Avtex TV for our new caravan. We also wanted a 12V TV for off-grid camping.
Once out of the box, the TV looks like an absolutely lovely bit of kit, but alas when we tried it, the picture quality was just about the worst picture we have ever got out of a TV.
Don't spend your hard earned money on the name. The picture was bad and the sound wasn't great either.
Avtex say they never get complaints! Really, they need to read trust pilot.
I won't be buying another 12V TV unless I can see it working first.
On the plus side; they did arrange a free collection to take it back.

My first ever review. Not really reviewing the product but the standard of Avtex customer service and in particular Craig.

Recently bought a 27" conneted Avtex TV with an Avtex sound bar, easy to set up other than a failure to get sound through the sound bar when using the TV. (My IT skills)
A quick call to Craig on the technical helpline in Cardiff who was super knowledgeable and really patient. A couple of minutes later everything was working. Great picture with a very good sound from a small unit.

We bought a new motorhome and it has an Avtex connected HD TV as standard. I have to say the sound is so bad the TV is almost unwatchable. Any volume above 24 on the screen jars so badly we cannot hear any conversation.
Worse still, any search for this issue on the net points to an Avtex sound bar.

Don't waste your money.
I decided after upgrading my motorhome at the same time treat myself to a avtex tv.
I will be seeking a refund, sound quality is poor / vibrating at best picture quality is no different than far cheaper tv,s. There is nothing beneficial to owning an avtex compared with cheaper options.
I have two TV,s on the MH and reception is no different.
Since this review the TV was returned, upgraded to the latest software / speakers and it's 100% better.

Great picture but appalling sound - you can’t hear it when it rains, and can only just hear it normally. Quite disappointed for quite an expensive TV

Three times the price of a cheap TV with none of the reliability. Mine has had barely any use in the 23 months it has been in my motorhome yet still needed a new mother board after what amounted to less than two weeks of ordinary domestic use . It still doesn't work after Avtex's finest have tried to fix it. Overpriced and unreliable. Don't waste your money like I did.

I spent days trying to source the Avtex 27in connected TV for our new caravan to no avail I eventually contacted Avtex directly to be advised they can only sell through agents and signposted to other agents who sell Avtex you can imagine how disappointed I was that no one had the 27in until 2 days later I received a telephone call from Craig Vardon from the Sales Dep who sourced one arranged for me to pay for it through Perthsire Caravans, and the next day it was delivered.
I am so happy with the service received from Avtex and would highly recommend this company and most certainly the customer service I received and extremely happy with my T.V

Shocking customer service Avtex TVs aren't cheap and I would have expected better than this, I sent a query to customer support a week or so ago now still waiting for a response just not good enough.

This was purchased because we thought the high price meant the best; wrong! This is for the Avtex 24" smart TV. It's got lots of positive attributes, not least looks, picture quality and wired connectivity, but there's no point in extolling them because the sound is the worse you'll ever experience. It distorts terribly even at low volumes (dialogue, not just music) with any hint of base, and moreover the set frame rattles like a plastic drum with it - it's a design flaw IMO. The sound is louder behind the TV than in front. You'll regret buying this set because of the sound rattle; there are many sets at less than half, yes less than half, its cost which outperform by far as a package ( eg sound is fine, they actually come with a browser installed, and come with more than just YouTube and FView). A poor value, substandard product. Can't understand why it's stocked by many motorhome/ caravan retailers to be honest.

Bit late with this review but thought worthy of the time . I use my Avtex In my motorhome to the max with memory key , Roku input , terrestrial tv , satellite tv and external Avtex sound bar .

I did have a handful of set up issues however David in tech support was patient and more than a little knowledgable correcting each and every issue .

The sound bar was a great addition providing excellent solution to the rain hitting the van as well as quality sound reproduction off TV or via Bluetooth off my phone .

We have an avtex tv in our motorhome. Recently, it would not hold the stations in the memory. The helpdesk technician was very helpful, despite being out of warranty , he talked me through the process to do a factory reset , and offered to take the set back if that did not work. Quick, poilte and efficient, I was pleasantly surprised.
