If I could give a -20 I would. This is the worst salon I have ever had service from. I scheduled an appointment for a color. There were a couple good reviews with a young male hairdresser so I scheduled. The first thing I said when I sat down was,”I do not want black hair”

I’m assuming he spoke English and understood me. But, I was wrong. My hair has never been so black and damaged. The dye transferred to my bed linen and my headboard on my bed. I called the salon, (las Vegas downtown Summerlin) and they informed me the date to call and report was 7 days. I asked to see the contract I filed stating I had 7 days to report back. I asked to see the information that was given to me stating I was told I had 7 days to report unacceptable service and of course there is zero information about this lie.

I spoke to a front desk person by the name of “Soliel”. I asked for her supervisor and she informed me she didn’t know the number. I asked her for the name of the owner and again she “didn’t know” She obviously lied to me.

I will never recommend this salon to anyone. This is pure dishonestly and manipulation. They will do anything to take your money and then will say it’s the clients fault for the obvious bad outcome.

The service was $200.00 and the dye they use is dangerous. My hair is dry and brittle. My scalp was burning. I am currently getting hair correction service from a reputable salon.

This is an experience that I never want to repeat ever again. They do not care about your concerns after your service. DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON

Aveda is absolutely rubbish. I couldn’t understand why my hair felt so bad using it and I did some research. They are not hair science specialist but botanical specialist and as a result they don’t always know what is the right thing for certain hair types. There products don’t penetrate the hair shaft it just sits on top and coats it and it feels dreadful. I would never recommend this tripe and it’s overpriced rubbish

Ho acquistato alcuni prodotti, che conosco e utilizzo già da anni, per la prima volta online.
Esperienza molto positiva: il pacco è stato recapitato in tre giorni lavorativi perfettamente imballato. All’interno dei campioncini e anche un gadget per asciugare e raccogliere i capelli.

I ordered a shampoo and a conditioner, they only sent me the conditioner. I contacted the customer service who offered to send me the missing product ( the shampoo), and they sent me the conditioner again!
Is it so difficult to send the right product? I love Aveda products, but i will never order from the official website again. The cost of the products is high, I think they can afford people who know how to send the right products to customers.

Aveda have introduced a new Be Curly Advanced co wash, replacing the old and trusted Be Curly Co Wash.(which I have used for years) The new product is awful and the old product is now unavailable.
I have very curly hair and it is fine albeit thick and this new product leaved my hair like rope and fluffy I will not be buying it again and will ditch what I have. My daughter has the same problem with the new product - why not keep the old one Aveda - never does one product suit all!!

Non voglio discutere sulla qualità dei prodotti Aveda perché li trovo abbastanza validi e performanti, il problema grave sono le confezioni e il modo in cui vengono spediti i prodotti in questione, oltre al servizio clienti.
Dopo aver effettuato l’ordine sul sito di Aveda noto fin da subito un ritardo nella spedizione e nessun avviso a riguardo, il mio ordine verrà spedito dopo circa una settimana (tempi abbastanza lunghi) a seguito di una mia chiamata di sollecitudine al servizio clienti. Una volta arrivato il pacco noto le pessime condizioni in cui versa (mi dispiace non poter allegare le foto), la scatola risulta danneggiata, mezza aperta, visibilmente usurata e rovinata (inaccettabile visto il prezzo elevato dei prodotti), all’interno i loro prodotti non erano per nulla imballati e uno di essi era macchiato e danneggiato, dopo aver speso la bellezza di 171€ per ricevere quello che ho ricevuto mi innervosisco abbastanza e scrivo al servizio clienti Whastapp allegando le foto, non ricevo risposta. Decido quindi di chiamare il servizio clienti e mi risponde una ragazza molto maleducata che mi dice che non risulta che io abbia mandato le foto su whatsapp e mi chiede di inviare un email, anch’essa mi dice che non risulta essere arrivata e che devo semplicemente aspettare che qualcuno del Team si faccia vivo per risolvere la situazione, invito la suddetta ragazza più volte ad alzare il tono della voce visto che sembrava stesse parlando da una Chiesa nel bel mezzo di una messa ma decide di sbattermi il telefono in faccia. Richiamo e a questo punto mi risponde (finalmente) un operatrice gentile che mi presta davvero aiuto per risolvere la situazione, visiona le foto che avevo mandato su whatsapp e mi manda un etichetta prepagata per il reso con un codice sconto del 30% per riacquistare i prodotti, dopo circa una settimana vengo rimborsata. Decido comunque di NON riacquistare da Aveda perché noto dalle altre recensioni che il mio non è stato un caso isolato e che è loro abitudine spedire i prodotti in questa maniera.
Perché due stelle? Perché devo fare una media considerando il tutto: la qualità dei prodotti (per me indiscussa), il servizio clienti (da rivedere perché lo ritengo insufficiente) e soprattutto la scarsa professionalità e la totale mancanza di cura del reparto imballaggio che è assolutamente inaccettabile.
Aveda per i suoi costi si piazza su un mercato medio/alto - lusso, 40€ per uno shampoo punta ad un certo tipo di clientela, la stessa clientela pretende di ricevere a casa un pacco che sia degno di essere chiamato tale. Non credo riacquisterò più da loro, a meno che un giorno, leggendo le recensioni mi renderò conto che sono migliorati sotto questi punti di vista. Peccato, molte aziende come questa si perdono spesso “in un bicchier d’acqua”.

Aveda has such great products! But both the website and general running of the company is poor. Also sadly the Aveda plus program has deteriorated. Having been a customer for 30 years their tier levels were great. Now poor. If one does not use the shampoos they have in tiers then hopeless. Better to make it tailored to the customers purchases. Tier 7 is a back and face exfoliation. Who just has a face exfoliation? Not followed by a facial! So much room to capture a bigger market with all the above massively improving. Birthday gift that has to be rung up for and then go to salon to collect it? Why not just send the gift out with an order whilst the birthday code lasts 2months. Aveda have taken away the perks from the clients.

I have placed an online order 4 times over the past 4 weeks. Each time it’s says I will be receiving a confirmation. I never do. I go back into my account and the same order is in my basket again! Tomorrow I will have to go through my online banking to see if I’ve been charged four times!
This isn’t the first time I sat and waited for an order that never came and never went through. I have been an Aveda customer since the 80’s and actually owned and operated an Aveda Salon for 26 years. THIS is NOT the Aveda that I loved for over 40 years! What the heck is happening?!?

I have used Aveda for years until they stopped making color conserve. When it returned, I ordered $140 worth of the new color conserve products. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a product as I have been with these “new” color conserve products! It’s like shampooing your hair with mayonnaise! It made my hair greasy and dull! I had to buy different shampoo to get the gunk out of my hair! TERRIBLE a product!

So disappointed with Aveda. Been with them religiously since the 1990s, to the point where I have (had) over 60000 reward points. I had been saving them to get to the 50000 reward of the spa in Antigua, only to find a few years ago they’ve done away with that. Decided to use it this year for the flagship spa in London, only to find that package is downgraded a lot as well. Then decided to take a friend to the downgraded spa day, only to find that they deleted my rewards account and all my points recently because I hadn’t used it in a year - which isn’t true. My salon was Aveda until very recently, when they switched to a new brand because Aveda kept increasing their prices, and they always put my colour and botanical treatments on my Aveda card. I haven’t bought product in a while as I stockpiled the old Colour Conserve when they changed the formula, but to just delete the account without the courtesy of an email is appalling (there is a notice on the website, but that isn’t good enough).

I called this morning, and they’re going to look into reinstating, which is good, BUT this should never have happened. The old Aveda was so focused on great products and a positive customer experience; this new iteration seems to be focused on cutting costs with products and rewards. So sad to see the deterioration such a great brand.

I used Aveda products, and salon for a couple of years. My hair became lifeless, and much thinner. It has taken me months and different products to finally get it back in decent shape. I wanted to like the products, but they aren’t for me or my hair.

I bought 2 new bottles of Aveda Confixor Gel. I've been using this stuff for many years, but the new Gel smells awful. Why the change? These 2 bottles are the last I'm buying - I don't get it and it appears there are a lot of others who are very disappointed in the "new" Gel and, for what they charge for it, it stinks.

Orribile!!!!!! Prodotti che costano tantissimo fatti con confezioni difettate!!!! Cade in terra la confezione ( caduta lieve) … prodotto completamente perso! Mai successa una cosa del genere! Packaging fatto al risparmio quando il prodotto costa un rene! Vergogna!!!!!!!!!!!

Aveda has gone downhill for years and doesn't improve. The website has terrible navigation, and the checkout page doesn't confirm that you'll be adding to your Pure Privileges rewards. It's amusing to see how terrible the reviews are ON THE AVEDA SITE of the reformulated Color Control line and they still haven't gone back to the prior formula. Consumers are yelling about the formula change and they do nothing.

I have white hair and a dry scalp, and until last year, I used Scalp Benefits with great success. However, when Scalp Benefits was discontinued, I switched to Scalp Solutions, and whilst it helped with dryness it unfortunately turned my hair slightly (but noticeably) green. It has taken me many uses of other products to remove the green from my hair.

I paid extra for same-day delivery for an order placed on 2/26/25 at 11am EST. The order page confirmed that all orders placed before 5pm would be delivered that day.

I received 1 confirmation email with an order number, then received no updates on my tracking number when I searched it. I was told I had to be present for my order to be delivered, otherwise, I would still be charged the courier fee. I called customer service, who told me to call the local Aveda supplier, Salon Central OTR. I called Salon Central OTR 6 times in a 2-hour span and left 1 voicemail with no response.

I talked to a live chat representative who was also unable to help me. I asked them to cancel my order and they said they were unable to. I will not be home to pick up the order any other day. I am still unsure what will happen next.

As someone who has used Aveda products for the last 15 years and has exclusively gone to Aveda salons, I am deeply disappointed by this service and will have to find another option.

I used texture tonic spray and it turned hair pink. The ingredients were bright pink. I have used this before with no problem? Why is product bright pink? Called customer service and was told it was past shelf life. Product had never been opened. No resolution to problem.

I canceled my order, it was in the warehouse and they said I could not cancel due to this I had to call UPS to have them stop delivery and return it. I called UPS they are unable to this as well. I called Aveda back and explained I know longer live at this address, it is a rental property and I have moved. She will do nothing, she said I would need to return it, well I now live 1.5 hours away and they will not send me a refund even though I have been a long-time customer. Aveda.. Do better I will never purchase from you again.

Aweful. Holding my money for a confirmed return- will not let me speak to a supervisor , blatantly told me they don’t want to give me the name of the supervisor that they say is gonna call me back . 4 escalation, no return call. Sent an email saying I have 5 days to respond or I lose my refund …. Told me to disregard the email! 17 days since returned and still no refund . One rep said no supervisor is working today, called back another rep put me on hold to connect me to a supervisor. Literally just run you in circles, lie, and keep your money.

I've not had any issues with online orders. I found their service to be good. I have been using Aveda products for a year now and I can say that Aveda has significantly improved the quality of my hair - it is softer, thicker, and shinier.
