Cheap junk imported from China
I have decided to write a review here following a series of negative experiences with this company's goods.
First of all, reviews left on their website do not upload. Since they filter bad reviews I have come here.
You get what you pay for right? So Auna is cheap. However what particularly irks me is the deliberate deceitful business practices. Auna's products do not match their description.
I purchased last year, a CD player, amplifier and speakers for just under £350. I intended to upgrade piece by piece as I could afford to over time.
The speakers arrived damaged. Cosmetic damage only so I let that go, the low price paid negated shipping costs to obtain replacements.
The sound quality was poor. Music of all genres played, be it jazz, classical, opera or rock, was flat and lifeless. The sound improved on the auxilliary channel when the T.V. was connected. I took this as a sign that the CD player was suffering from data transfer loss and therefore must have cheap parts including a very substandard laser.
I recently upgraded to a more reputable make of CD player, the difference even through the Auna amp and speakers, was night and day. This confirmed my hypothesis.
I decided then that a replacement amplifier was going to improve things further so I hit the credit card and bought one that matched the CD player. Very little difference. Aha, speakers?
Today, not able to afford replacements for a while, I decided to bi-wire the speakers, they have the extra jacks and my new amp is set up for it. This is the point that I have been getting to and what infuriated me.
The extra jacks are dummies, there is no connection to anywhere other than that the jacks are linked in pairs. There is a cross plate linking the high and low frequencies that are removed when bi-wiring, only in this instance the extra jacks go nowhere.
I know this because I had to remove the speaker backing plate as the connections became loose whilst carrying out this task.. On further inspection it became clear that some of the drivers too are dummies. Add also to this, that the magnetic coils on the circuit boards are pathetically small and the soldering laughable in the extreme.
As I said at the beginning, I left reviews on Auna's website, to no avail. Hence this convoluted but neccesary tale of warning.
The company misleads on technical data, product information and even manufacturing. You are led to believe that you are buying German engineering when in fact it is the cheapest, shoddiest of junk imported from China. I find it difficult to believe that any German would want to associate with quality of this appalling standard.
It is my view that this is a company that warrants further investigation by the German authorities.
Do not buy anything from this company.
AUNA ia a joke and a con!
I bought 4 Pro audio subs off of auna and right out of the box one didn't work. Now I am a sound engineer and I've never plugged in a new speaker that didn't work.
So i sent it back on the 26th of July this your 2022 and the date now is the 12th of October and I still haven't got my replacement.
Every time I ring I get told he system isn't working and they can't find my return. I've had 3 months of this, they don't care the customer service is an absolute joke and I'm not laughing.
I've lost a lot of money though missing gigs because I don't have the full speaker system I bought from auna.
There should be an option or 0 stars here cos that's what I give them.

Bought a hi fi system from hi tower. Auna Amplifier. CD player , speakers. The amplifier packet up . Now the CD player has packed up . Just 2 years old . I was very pleased with system and sound but the quality is rubbish. How long will speakers last??? Don’t buy from this company or Hi Tower. Worst customer service ever. They promise to get back in touch but never do . I was duped by price. Please stay away from both company. Shocks.

Ich kann von einem Kauf nur dringendst abraten. Meine Bewertung bezieht sich dabei nicht auf die Qualität der Produkte sondern auf die Firma hinter auna.de, die Chal-Tec GmbH.
Diese betreiben neben auna.de auch z.B. numanaudio.com oder elektronik-star.com. Bloß nicht dort bestellen, wenn was schiefläuft rennt ihr eurem Geld hinterher. Kunden werden ignoriert, egal ob per Mail oder Telefon. Könnt euch ja mal die Trustpilot Bewertungen zu Chal-Tec ansehen.
Wer mir immernoch nicht glaubt, bestellt doch mal die Numan Retrospective 1977 MK II Standlautsprecher in Walnuss.
Die sind nämlich seitens des Herstellers aktuell nicht lieferbar, wünsche euch danach viel Spaß.
Wer so mit Kunden umgeht dem vertraue ich auch nicht bei den Produkten.
Am Ende bleibt mir nur zu sagen was reimt sich auf Chal-Tec?

Faulty product delivered, slow and unsatisfactory resolution
Auna Birmingham stereo delivered quickly, but the CD player would not recognise and play any CD.
The request for return and replacement was accepted immediately and a return note provided. However the pre-paid return label was not provided until 18 days and several e-mails later.
Acknowledgement of the replacement was received after a further 15 days, but not actually sent - or at least the promised parcel tracking number was not received.
After a further 15 days I received an e-mail stating that the parcel had been blocked by UK customs (despite never receiving the tracking number promised) , and could not be delivered (bearing in mind the order was placed with auna-multimedia.co.UK, and that there was no other course but to refund (a process that would take a further "3 to 5 days).
In total from requesting the return to the company offering a refund has taken 48 days. I have not yet received the refund, and cannot see why in the days of instant electronic payments it should take 3 to 5 days.
In dealing with the company I have received e-mails from a bewildering array of corporate identities - all of the following appear to be the same organisation:

Chal-Tec GmbH
Berlin Brands Group
Klarstein
electronic-star.co.uk (which redirects to hifi-tower.co.uk)

Leider ist der Kundenservice auch nach über einem Monat nicht in der Lage mal eine Antwort zu schicken, wirkt alles sehr unseriös.
Man sollte besser auf eine andere Firma zurückgreifen
Späte Antworten + Inkompetenz
Die brauchen Wochen um zu antworten und dann können die nicht einmal eine simple Frage zu dem eigenen Produkt beantworten. Das ist faktisch und objektiv betrachtet vollkommene Inkompetenz. Entsprechend diese berechtigte Negativbewertung.

Stereo unit stopped working in 2years 1month
I bought an Auna stereo and amplifier in April 2020. By September 2021 the stereo had to be replaced under guarantee. Now in June the amplifier has stopped working and Auna refuse to repair or replace it as the guarantee has finished. While legally their right I would suggest that the stereo and amplifier are defective and made badly. While the unit was inexpensive I would not have expected it to break down in 2 years. I was conned by the German brand name but have since discovered it is all made in China. I would not recommend Auna products.

The after sales service and support was great. I had to make a return after a technical failure and the return took a while, but that is understandable due to the truck driver's strike.
I am very satisfied with the support service (admittedly I had to phone eventually) and would recommend them without hesitation.
My friend has the same unit and has had no failures, it's great for small outdoor venues or medium indoor venues.
Go for it!

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. They don’t reply to emails, when they do they make promises they do no keep. You will be faced with import duties that they will not tell you about and not refund you for. Please deal with them with caution or expect bill for import costs.
Angebliche Lieferzeit von 2-4 Werktagen, obwohl das Gerät nicht lieferbar ist
Habe bei auna einen „AMP-CD608 DAB HiFi-Stereo-Verstärker“ bestellt. Ankündigung im Internet Shop, Zitat: „Sofort lieferbar | Lieferzeit: 2 - 4 Werktage“. Dieses Gerät existierte jedoch nicht am Lager von auna und war vom Hersteller auch nicht lieferbar. Obwohl ich auna über die falsche Ankündigung im Internet Shop informierte, bleib sie bestehen. Die potenziellen Kunden werden somit bewusst irregeführt. Außerdem kündigte auna sofort der DHL ein Paket an, das überhaupt nicht existierte. Dann geschah nichts mehr. So wurde der Kunde ein zweites Mal bewusst irregeführt und wartet und wartet. Aber das Geld wurde über PayPal sofort eingezogen. Habe die Bestellung stornieren müssen. Warte nun auf die Rückzahlung. Schweißfirma!!!!!!!!

Wish I would have looked here before I purchased there was another review site that had them as 5 stars but looks like that site is rigged as I cannot review there,. Order will not be delivered in time for birthday, no reason given, long queue on call to be told they can't help on the phone, I should email, email not responded to at all. As far as I am concerned at the moment, they have stolen my money and I will report to my card company if they do not respond soon.

Abzocker! Am 08.12.21 bestellt. Weil die ADRESSE angeblich nicht angegeben wurde kam das Radio nicht an. Nach mehrmaligen Anfragen, auch per E-Mail bekam ich keine Antwort und kein Geld, obwohl mir vor über einer Woche per E-Mail versichert wurde, dass diese Zahlung veranlasst wurde und innerhalb der nächsten 7 Werktage auf mein Konto überwiesen wird. Ich wiederhole seit knapp 2 Monaten warte ich auf mein Geld! Am Telefon Kackfreundlich, aber ich will nicht wissen was hinter den Kulissen abgeht. Drecksverein.
