I'll tell my personal opinion - you make your own choice, but as a customer to customer I will warn anyone who wants to invest in any headphones from Audeze. Now, I'm a person who buys a more expensive product, but in return expects it to last, rather than buying something cheaper and hoping it will last long enough. Therefore, I've decided to buy a pair of "gaming headphones" from Audeze that cost me around 350 GBP, when usually gaming headphones cost about half the price and are already considered good. For example, my last pair was a Logitech headset for around 160 GBP and are still working perfectly after 6 long years of nearly every day use and never been sent for repairs. However, I wanted something better, so I got Mobius. After nearly 2 years or so of use, just before the warranty ended, I have noticed one ear cup seemed a bit loose. I've examined the headphones and just above the ear cup a very fragile-looking piece of plastic had cracked almost throughout it's entirety. It just needed a little bend before it completely came off. Without hesitation, I've contacted Audeze and in about 2 weeks the headphones were replaced due to warranty. The new Mobius I've been given had cracked again at the exact same spot just above the ear cup again around 1.5 years after replacement, but this time there was no warranty. I contacted Audeze and what do you know, they can't fix the headphones! I go online and do a little research, turns out there are numerous dissatisfied customers stuck with the exact same product with the exact same defect that nobody is able to fix. Now, I think a 350 GBP product is not something anyone would want to just throw down the bin because the company has made an awful decision in it's design and then has not delivered a solution after so many years and so many customer complaints. To me, that is the opposite of a good manufacturer and I will discourage anyone in my circle or outside it to think twice before buying from this company because this sort of treatment for their customers is downright unacceptable.
