Aston Matthews Great for Bathroom Fixtures
We used Aston Matthews for nearly all of our bathroom fixtures way back in 2012. The fixtures have done a very good job over the years, requiring minimal maintenance.
This year we needed to replace some of the parts for one of our sink traps in the ensuite bathroom. Yesterday I went into the Aston Matthews store looking to buy a replacement trap and was very lucky to find Steve, who not only figured out the needed parts quickly, but he also supplied the bits and pieces for free! I asked Steve if he was the owner of the business. He said no. So I told him he should be employee of the month. Extremely helpful and courteous.
Aston Matthews are a solid and reliable business for their customers. Thanks again to Steve for all of his help.
Excellent service from Aston Matthews
We recently had our Aston Matthews products installed and love our new bathroom. The whole process was very smooth - excellent communication, fast delivery, and beautiful, high quality fittings. The tiles look fabulous with the brushed brass fitting and have transformed our tiny bathroom into a beautiful yet functional space.

We were recommended Aston Matthews by friends who had had a very positive experience with them. From start to finish they were incredible. They recommend products and helped to guide us with which products to choose. The products themselves look amazing and of excellent quality. We will definitely be using them again for further projects in the house.
Disappointing experience: Poor service and sent ex-display products (when paid for new)
We paid Aston Matthews on 26th August for what we expected to be a premium bathroom order. What followed was weeks of frustration and repeated mistakes.
We were told to expect a six-week wait due to Italian summer holidays, which was completely fair. When the order finally arrived, two essential items were missing: a handle and the bath valve. We contacted them immediately. Six days later, replacements arrived — but the handle was wrong. Another call, another wait. A second handle arrived and was finally correct, but something still didn’t look right.
After more calls, we were asked to bring the items into their Angel showroom. We live in SE London, so this meant a 3-hour round trip and time off work. Once there, it became obvious that yet another part was missing — the flange for the bath spout — despite us having sent photos and made multiple calls. Their solution was to take everything home again and wait for another delivery. I refused and left the items with them, asking them to confirm everything was correct before I returned.
Two days later (and another three-hour round trip), I collected the order and was assured by BJ it was complete.
At home, we opened the box to find that the “missing” piece we’d paid for as brand new was clearly ex-display: dirty, chipped, and already patina-ed. Completely unacceptable for a full-price, new order.
It’s now 14–15 weeks since we paid. Our project is delayed by nearly four weeks because of the missing items, we’ve incurred additional build costs, and I’ve had to take time off work because Aston Matthews can’t get a single order right.
We’ve asked for store credit or a replacement for the ex-display item — no response. Their only suggestion was that they could extend their January sale to us to buy more products.
For a so-called high-end bathroom company, this was their chance to show accountability and care. Instead, they’ve shown neither. Paying premium prices for used, out-of-warranty products and poor service is unacceptable. Why bother.
Great Customer Service and Product Knowledge

I recently needed an obscure part for a lavatory cistern and nothing was too much trouble. They were able identify the part and had it in stock and available straight away.

I am an international customer, and had reservations regarding shipping. My fragile pedestal sink, faucets and accessories were packaged so well, all arrived with not a scratch.

Dripping Tap/Valve
I bought some Zyam bath valve taps from Aston Matthews about 20 years ago. I got in touch with them recently, as one of the valves was dripping. After sending them some photos BJ at AM was able to help, and advise me about my problem. He sent me out a new valve. I fitted this myself, and my problem has been solved. Thank you BJ.
Amazing bathroom shop
Beautiful selection of bathtubs, taps, sinks and showers. It’s inspiring to wander around their showroom filled with high quality fixtures and basins. They have classic as well as modern and even industrial styles. The staff are experienced and really helpful. Highly recommended!
beautiful designs but…
Aston Matthews supplies beautifully designed taps. That is about as far as my praise goes.
I installed a traditional kitchen mixer tap about 15 years ago. It’s a £1200 tap. You might expect it to function without issue for years… it hasn’t. I have had to replace the valve inserts, hot and cold twice. Also the o ring, which you can’t buy on its own, you have to buy a set of everything. I understand taps wear out but you might expect a longer lifespan. It isn’t without expense. The inserts are, after postage cost over £100 each. I can’t see how this is justifiable for a product that only just out lasts than the warranty.
Furthermore communication and customer service is poor and rude.
This is a reply I received from Kirk Langley when I asked when my part would be delivered.
“It was me that processed it so yes, the order was processed. However, it is not a stocked item and at no point did we indicate it would be delivered immediately.
Due to the age and availability of parts, we must check with manufactures whether they have stock and if not how long that this item will take.
As soon as we hear back from the manufacturers we will let you know right away.
As for postage this also includes insurance on the item hence the cost, and yes, it is also a next day service but without the part we cannot post it.
As soon as we have it our warehouse will be in touch at which point it will be with you the following day so long as it doesn’t clash with weekends etc.”
The tone is far from conciliary when I was seeking assurance that my part was indeed being prcessed and sent.
Needless to say, I never heard from Kirk again. I had a message from Royal Mail letting me know that my parcel would be delivered
Excellent customer service
I recently moved into a house which has a beautiful Aston Matthews shower, however it didn't get as hot as I would like. I contacted them and was given detailed information, including a video, on how to adjust the temperature. Excellent customer service, even though I wasn't buying anything from them!!

The customer service I experienced over the phone from Peter was absolutely incredible and second to none. We had a plumber visit last week to tell us we needed to buy new parts from Aston Matthews, I had a feeling that this was a misdiagnosis. I called and within 5 mins on the phone to Peter he managed to resolve the issue instantly assuring that Aston Matthews products are of the highest quality (which is very true) and that ordering new parts after just a couple of years and hiring a plumber to install wasn’t necessary. Peter helped us out massively all with patience, positivity and humour and has now saved us having to spend an absolute fortune on plumbers. Thank you Peter, you’re a god send!
Outstanding Customer Service and Quality: My Aston Matthews Experience
In a time when people are quick to comment when things go wrong, I want to take a moment to share my positive experience with Aston Matthews. Yes, for some, their products may seem on the pricier side, but the quality is absolutely worth it.
I purchased with them, a kitchen tap 15 years ago, and recently it started to leak. I reached out to Aston Matthews for assistance, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of service I received by BJ (Bhikhulal Jagatiya) from the support/sales team, not only he provided the help I needed but went above and beyond to ensure I didn’t have to replace the whole tap—something my plumber had suggested—when all I needed was to change the cartridge. This was a bit tricky due to the hard water conditions in London, but BJ made sure everything was sorted.
Sadly, quality service like this is becoming rarer these days, and I truly appreciate the effort Aston Matthews put into making sure I was taken care of. It’s rare to find companies that stand by their products and offer this level of customer service. I’m a very happy customer!

I wanted to write to say a huge thank you to Michael who was really brilliant in supporting us through the bathroom refurbishment. From the time he spent with us taking us through different options, helping us with things we hadn’t thought of without being pressuring in any way. When our bathroom fittings were delayed and coming in dribs and drabs, he responded quickly to us, chasing updates from your manufacturers and keeping us informed. We eventually got all the pieces just in time by arranging for a missing tap to be delivered by special delivery for us the next day. Without him stepping in and helping throughout the process we wouldn’t have been able to complete it in time and it would have been a very different story. We love the quality of the materials supplied and are so pleased we chose to go with Michael and his recommendations. Thank you! He was utterly brilliant to deal with.
