When we needed a replacement fridge freezer for one of our apartment in St Ives Cornwall we made all the usual enquiries about, features, make, price and of course delivery.
We decided on Appliance World because they offered a good price and delivery to Cornwall - which is not easy. They said they would deliver and they told us when it would be. But our experience has been that deliveries to Cornwall are delayed or costly. We waited for our delivery with some trepidation. We needn't have worried!
We have been absolutely delighted with the fridge freezer and the service we have received. All their communications have been friendly and helpful. The day before delivery we had a courtesy call to give us a time so that we didn't need to wait in. Then on the day it arrived as promised.
The product is great, the delivery was on time and the couriers were absolutely brilliant. If we need to replace white goods in the future Appliance World will be our first choice alongside the courier company they used. We would definitely recommend Appliance World. Their excellent service is a good as their word!

I have done a full house renovation and this has been the worst company to deal with: two products out of stock (only informed 2 weeks after payment made) and the other 3 weeks to deliver. They also give no time slots so delivery failed as no one on site at 7.20am. Avoid.

The Customer Service from Appliance World has been second to none, to ensure our damaged door was satisfactorily replaced by the manufacturer. There liaison with myself and the service company which carried out the work was prompt, accurate, and timely - nothing was too much trouble. My sincere thanks to Lydia, and I will certainly use Appliance World again.

On line purchase, very easy and clear. Contact and service update very effective. Product, excellent. Delivery earliest ever arrived 06:30 am, only complaint was not notified prior, fortunately I was up.

I bought a large Fisher-Paykel fridge from Appliance World in December 2014, as a Christmas gift.
I initially chose Appliance World because they had the best price.
There were some initial issues with my credit card, which pushed back my expected delivery date. However, the people at Appliance World went the extra mile to make sure that the fridge still arrived in time for Christmas, arranging a special courier to deliver during Christmas week. The people at Appliance World were always available and helpful, and the delivery people were very polite and careful, installing the fridge in its place and taking away the packing materials with them.
Overall I was extremely happy with Appliance World's service, and would recommend them whole-heartedly.

Competitve price, no nasty surprises on checkout, followed by texted order confirmation and pre-determined delivery date confirmation all in accordance with Terms and Conditions which was kept to on both sides. Well done!

First Class service and best price

We were in desperate need of a new oven for Christmas, we were advised on Monday 22nd December after an expensive service call, that the parts for our existing oven were no longer available. A new oven would not be delivered until the new year
I contacted AO on Monday afternoon and found that the new oven we required was in stock, after a check with their transport Lydia advised it could be delivered on Tuesday 23rd. I ordered it at 5.00pm and it was delivered before 1.00pm the next day, no extra charge!
The service was excellent, the price competitive and Lydia was particularly sharp and helpful, there are a number of sales and people who could learn a lesson from her, much appreciated

Excellent service never ignor coustmers

Bought a fridge from Appliance World. It leaked and damaged my new kitchen units. I'm still fighting to recover my losses more than a year later.

I ordered an item which I was told was in stock. I was then told that it was not and that I would have to wait for "up to 14 working days". This I did. Telephone and email messages were ignored. I ultimately succeeded in reaching Appliance World by telephone only to be told that the item had not been ordered and that it may be another 14 working days before delivery. Obviously, I cancelled. I paid less elsewhere and obtained next-day delivery. Lesson learned!

after a 3 week wait for a bosch washing machine. I tried to get an update or a refund. I was put on hold told it would be here in the next seven days. The seven days come and went by with still no washing machine or contact with this company. in the end it was a real hardship to get a refund them.
i then went through reputable AO. com and got it within a couple of days. just wish i had gone to them first instead of a unreliable dishonest company

I ordered an expensive Siemens fridge-freezer from Appliance World that has now started to break down, and Appliance World are failing to provide me with my statutory rights for a repair or replacement of the item.

Appliance World themselves have contacted Trading Standards and confirmed that the item should be fault-free for six years under the UK Sale of Goods Act. It has failed well within that period and, with the help of Martin Lewis' site (Google "Sale of Goods Act Martin Lewis" and you will find a very enlightening article), I know this means they are liable for the cost of the repair under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. However Appliance World are refusing to act in accordance with my statutory rights and I am left with a failing fridge-freezer and a huge repair bill that they are liable for.

Terrible customer service and lengthy delays between responses have made this whole situation far more stressful than necessary as they try to shirk their responsibility under the Sale of Goods Act and UK law. This has been going on for nearly two months and so I've given them until Tuesday next week to rectify the situation before I pass this issue on to Trading Standards and my MP.

They really did not want to refund a faulty product, so they did everything they could to stop me. There was no way I was going to let it drop, and with a bit of a battle I FINALLY got a refund. I had 28 days to return (within my rights) but they did not seem to care about my rights. They also said that if there is no fault then it could be returned to them at a cost of £50.

First time to use appliance world and no problems ordering some AEG Kitchen products (2 Ovens, Fridge and a Freezer). Price was the best for these particular products, delivery was quick and came on day promised. Would order from them again.
