Bemüht, aber leider nicht effektiv
Ich habe im Frühjahr zwei Ado Air 20 pro vorbestellt und gekauft. Es sind im ersten Test tolle Räder. Sie laufen leicht, der Motor macht einen tollen Job und die Akkus reichen für einen schönen Trip am Sonntag.
Leider war das erste Rad von Beginn an defek, da die Beleuchtung nicht wollte. Die Klärung des Problems dauerte etwa ein halbes Jahr. Insgesamt habe ich mehr Emails geschrieben als mir lieb war. Der Service war bemüht, aber sichtlich überfordert Mitt dem Problem, weshalb ich gefühlt das halbe Rad am Ersatzteilen bekommen habe.
Nun, wo mein Rad endlich läuft, ist das zweite kaputt und läuft gar nicht mehr. Ich befürchte, dass es abermals eine Odyssee wird.
Mein Fazit: Die Räder sind wenn sie laufen toll. Leider sind sie aber nicht haltbar. Der Service ist bemüht, doch leider nicht wirklich hilfreich.

Something worth knowing is Ado bikes will charge you 30% of the price if you order a bike from them and then change your mind and want to return the bike....they call this a restocking fee so beware

ADO Air Carbon: stylish, practical, and great value for money. Excellent support.
The company has truly excellent customer support. They respond quickly and make every effort to resolve any potential issues to everyone's satisfaction, which is, in the end, one of the most important factors for me. Even if a problem arises, a company's willingness to communicate openly and address the issue is a huge plus.
I purchased the ADO Air Carbon. I've been using it for about 3 months at the time of this review. It's genuinely one of the most beautiful electric bikes—it’s an absolute pleasure to ride. It’s comfortable, agile, and easy to assemble and disassemble. While it’s a bit heavier than I initially expected (weighing 15 kg including the battery), it’s still light enough to lift and transport, even for a woman. It handles road obstacles effortlessly (and our curb-to-street transitions are terrible).
I especially loved the pedals—they may be small, but they offer excellent grip and don’t slip with any kind of footwear (not even when wearing dress shoes). The monitor is easy to use and remains highly visible even in bright sunlight.
This is truly an excellent little bike for daily commuting—it gets the job done and looks fantastic while doing it. The battery lasts at least 60 kilometers on a single charge (likely more, but I haven’t tested that limit yet). There are plenty of accessories available, and I personally find the kickstand and fenders very useful. The bag is also super practical, offering enough space for gloves, winter gear, or a water bottle.
The GPS bike tracking and app features are interesting additions.
Great value for the money.

Solid bike with excellent customer service
This bike is a game-changer for me! It rides great, folds up nicely, and the turn signals are a nice bonus. Shipping was a bit slow, but customer service was super helpful and kept me updated the whole time. Definitely recommend!

Nice bike! To my opinion the 20" wheels makes the bike the perfect size to take it on the train. The electrical assistance makes a 20 min ride very comfortable.

Magnetic buckle ontvangen, maar niet de adapter
Ik heb zojuist de magnetic buckle ontvangen (order #ADO24279), maar niet de adapter om het te kunnen bevestigen. Dan neem je je klanten echt niet serieus als je de buckle zo aflevert zonder de adapter en dan verwacht dat de klant tevreden is!!! Dus maar een ster, waarbij zelfs die ene ster te veel is. Bovendien heb ik al een maand gewacht op de magnetic buckle en daar zal nu ook weer een maand bijkomen voordat ik de adapter ga ontvangen, als ik hem überhaupt ontvang.
Het is om gek van te worden!!!
Update: sorry it was order #ADO24275. Further there are no misunderstandings from my side, I stand behind my statement above.

Gear shifting is smooth. The assistance is enough to climb decent slopes. The dampened fork is clearly a must on cobbled stones roads.
