Such a greedy company

Booked transport in Lisbon and our flight was cancelled and rebooked for next flight out. Tried to call the company (Lane Express) the woman was dreadful and rude. Booking.com refused to help because it was in 24 hours, we didn’t want to cancel just delay it by a few hours, if our flight has been delayed it would have been fine. Booking.com are so desperate they would rather lose customers and keep the £12.60! Jay is a dreadful customer service rep. I’ve booked accommodation loads of times, because they have been so greedy and not helped and telling us to go through the hassle of a claim with BA when they could refund if they wanted then they have lost customers.

Bij aankomst van bestemming, geannuleerd

Bij aankomst op plaats van bestemming, bleek dat het logement niet meer beschikbaar was, terwijl er wel al netjes was afgerekend. Dit was al 6 maanden van tevoren gereserveerd. Ik moest zelf met Booking.com contact opnemen om dit te ervaren en op te lossen. Geen klachten over het personeel, Zij zijn vriendelijk en bieden direct hun excuses aan. Echter hebben zij blijkbaar niet de authoriteit om direct door te pakken en een passende oplossing te vinden. Bij het zoeken naar een altenatief welke zij zouden vinden heb ik aangegeven dat de plaats van bestemming belangrijk was in verband met invaliditeit. Echter ze hebben twee locaties aangeboden welke ruim een uur verder lagen van de oorspronkelijke locatie. Uiteindelijk heb ik zelf een locatie gevonden welke dicht bij de oorspronkelijke locatie was, echter deze was door het tijdsbestek duurder. Dit moest nog overlegd worden om mij hiervoor te compenseren. Uiteindelijk was dit akkoord. Dit hele proces heeft ruim 5 uur van mijn tijd gekocht met mijn gezin. Na een 6 uur durende reis, kun je je wel voorstellen dat een vakantiedag helemaal naar de knoppen was geholpen door Booking.co, en dat ik alles uiteindelijk zelf moest oplossen. Echt ongelofelijk. Ik het het verschil in prijs wel terug ontvangen, maar voor de verloren dag en stress en emotie, geen extra compensatie of iets dergelijks. Echt slecht hoor.

Terrible customer support

I got scammed by the host of the booked apartment ( the apartment didn’t need the description, was dirty and there were a lot of cockroaches). The support ignored me for 3 days, I got a reply from Instagram support and they were able only to offer me 30€, when I paid 210€ for this scam.

674,84€ Prélevé sans aucune justification de par booking alors que nous avons rien réservé. nous avons écrit plusieurs fois à Booking pour leur demander des remboursements.
Depuis deux mois toujours rien...
il n'y a aucun sav, impossible de les joindre par téléphone...

Een appartement gehuurd in London

Een appartement gehuurd in London, prima locatie en appartement bij de O2 arena. Appartement was niet beschikbaar op afgesproken tijdstip want de schoonmaker scheen nog bezig te zijn. De schoonmaker bleek de verhuurder zelf te zijn die waarschijnlijk het appartement illegaal onder verhuurde, want we kregen ter plaatse via WhatsApp te horen dat we de sleutel bij een koffiehuis overhandigd kregen en het strikt verboden was om met de portier in de lobby te praten. Aangekomen in het appartement was alles te smerig om aan te pakken en hebben we eerst alles schoon moeten maken. Urine vlekken op de wc en de grond er omheen, er was al een tijd niet stof gezogen laat staan gedweild, dikke schimmelkringen in de hoeslakens van het bed, schimmelvlekken op de spatwand in de keuken, letterlijk alle ramen en spiegels waren te smerig om doorheen te kijken of iets in te zien etc etc. Booking.com is onbereikbaar, na de zoveelste keer een half uur in de wacht staan kregen we eindelijk een (half) engels sprekende medewerkster aan de lijn. Die was er na 2 zinnen wel flauw van en verbrak de verbinding. Uiteindelijk alles zelf maar schoon gemaakt en omdat we het een louche verhuurder vonden de hele tijd met onze kostbare spullen lopen zeulen door London en geslapen met een stoel voor de deur. Booking.com gemaild en tot op heden nog geen reactie, het slechtste servicebedrijf ter wereld. Geld plukkers en meer niet. Nooit bij boeken.

Shocking company

Shocking company . Room booked in San Francisco and room was awful ( amongst other things and breakfast prepared in a car park. Yes, the car park . Told booking.com when there after telling the hotel . Told to contact booking com. Called them , waited for 15 mins to answer, then they hung up 4 mins later. Many emails sent , last gave impression they did bother , many days later ...still nothing .
Would never use them again ,and used for years previously . Their "service" is disgraceful

Worst customer service

I had an issue with my booking through Booking.com and was overcharged. The hotel was £449, but Booking.com charged me £468. I contacted customer service three times to resolve this. The first agent assured me the issue was sorted and I’d receive a refund within 48 hours. That never happened. The second agent blatantly avoided addressing my concerns. After putting me on hold for 30 minutes, they ended the call.
To make matters worse, the agent called me back, only to abruptly hang up again when I asked why the refund wasn’t processed. When I tried a third time, the agent ended the call immediately without even trying to help. It’s shocking and unacceptable for a company like Booking.com, which has been in business for years, to engage in call-avoiding tactics. This behaviour is highly unprofessional and unethical. Instead of providing solutions, they avoid deliberately answering legitimate customer questions. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of accountability from a well-established company.

Absolute disgrace of a company

Absolute disgrace of a company once something goes wrong. The customer service team are non-UK based and completely incompetent. After mistakes regarding a refund their end, which has still not being resolved 3 months later. They will keep hold of your money at all costs whilst telling you to be patient as it is all being processed, to later tell you something completely different.
Avoid at all costs. This is adding to the 95% 1 star reviews on the company here.

Let aub op!! Huur via hier geen auto

Een auto inclusief verzekering gehuurd via booking.com, aangekomen in Katowice moesten wij naast wat wij al betaald hadden aan booking. Nog een ‘extra’ verzekering afsluiten bij dit bedrijf anders kregen wij de auto niet mee. A €142,99! Omdat je anders zonder auto staat, hebben wij dit betaald. Later contact opgenomen met booking en wij hadden dit bedrag niet hoeven te betalen! Pure oplichting! Ga niet extra betalen bij dit bedrijf! En wees verstandig boek geen auto via Booking!!

Costumer service not replying …

I cancelled non refundable reservation by mistake, i tried contacting them and they are not replying to me, property owner tell me he can't do anything and ask me to contact booking, never using this website again in my life.

Worst company everrrrrrr

Worst company everrrrrrr! I will never book with them again. I had an issue today which I clearly explained even after telling them how congested the room was for me and my baby. Also telling them I was choking and complained that the room was not what it seemed like on their site. They just care about their money and not the lives of people!!!! I’m going to be deleting their app! The hotel only gave me one other room to view as a way of trying to help which was worse than the room I was initially given.

Booked a hotel (Armoni Inn and Suites…

Booked a hotel (Armoni Inn and Suites in Orangeburg NY)with great pictures of it on the Booking.com site. When I arrived, I had to step over standing water to get to the stairs to my floor, and then the room had vomit on the rug between the beds. I Immediately checked out and was told by the front desk to call Booking .com for a refund and the hotel would approve this. 4 days later both the hotel and Booking.com are stating they have emailed each other but haven't heard from each other, and each say that is the only way to get my money back.

I was charged twice over $1300

I was charged twice over $1300, it took searching the website multiple times to find the phone number only for that number to not even be connected, there is no chat online option. The website gives you the option of these things with no links. I had to contact the property i was staying at to get any help at all. I book all my holidays though this website but I will never use them again.

Ongoing insulting behaviour from a…

Ongoing insulting behaviour from a criminal organisation... what else would you call fraud ? What would you call blatant robbery and subsequent refusal to refund illegally debited hard earned money from my account?
No mistake of mine but a glitch in their own payments processing system which resulted in an incomplete booking with no confirmation number or pin .I have proof of this as on prompt from the booking site , on Thurs failed attempt I took a screenshot which shows the message from the site that appeared on my screen relating to this .
Avoiding companies like this is the only way to safeguard all users . Be warned.

Sham of a company

This is a sham of a company 3 out of my last 4 bookings have been cancelled on day of arrival with one being Glasgow/Manchester an the other two Glasgow/london, not only did I wait over 2 month for a refund for 2 of them booking.com promised to pay a % of any additional cost providing I send them with a payment invoice breaking down any new booking which I did and have done numerous times not only to customer service but also by email an email address booking.com provided to me but to my annoyance booking.com have ignored all my correspondence, it’s not only such a hassle getting let down on day of arrival with the problems that come with that but this company continues to let their customer down thereafter by deliberately ignoring emails etc and in my case this has been going on for several months now, I’ve had enough I’m deleting the app an looking for a better company to use from now on 🤬
