Lorraine at 2nd2none was fantastic all the way through my learning to drive from the start to when i passed my test first time

Amazing. My driving instructor was Glenn, so patient and an all round funny guy, book with Glenn!Top tier company, definitely recommend.

Its in the name!

This Driving School is as it says 2nd2None for both car and HGV driving.
If you are researching which company to use I can highly recommend them.

From the start of the process right to the end this company knows what they are doing.

Their website gives the most info compared to competitors and explains clearly how the process works and how much each module will cost so there are no surprises, through to the efficiency and professionalism of the office and the instructors.

They will give you a link to their knowledge database which has everything you need to pass all the theory, case studies and hazard perception tests.
They are a friendly, approachable, professional and knowledgeable driving school.

Special shout to Glen my HGV instructor who is a natural and definitely in the right job. He knows just when to advise and always has great delivery getting the pertinent information to you at the right time and I never once felt stupid in the learning process. I can do that well enough myself!
You sir are a legend and I can't thank you enough for all the help, advice, commitment and unwavering belief in me hour after hour. Thank you.

Would also like to thank the office staff especially Holly who just knew how to get things done and was always efficient and informative and managed to work around my difficult schedule getting tests, of which there were 5, booked in a very timely fashion even when the DVSA had an examiner retire in the middle of my training and all the slots disappeared overnight without warning. She worked tirelessly to get my tests booked in and managed it. Thank you Holly.

Through 2nd2none I was able to pass all my tests first time and they gave me the confidence to know I could do it even through I was constantly questioning my own abilities.

Fantastic. My driving instructor Garry is a 6 foot 4 booming cockney chap. Highly entertaining driving partner and he makes lessons fun.

Garry helped me to pass my automatic test easily first time around. He has lots of rhymes and tips to make the driving technique memorable. Hugely knowledgeable and professional driver.

10/10 started as a very nervous anxious driving that had no confidence at all and was very scared about going on the road, ended up passing first time with 5 minors, and with loads and loads of confidence as a bonus, the patience and encouragement of my instructor, James, was amazing and I learnt to enjoy driving in a way I couldn’t have imagined before.

We would recommend 2nd2NONE Driving School. The driving instructor, Su, was very professional and taught my son not only how to drive on a test but how to drive in everyday life. He passed his test first time.

Lorraine taught me how to drive and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Always on time, very reliable and incredible at helping to instil confidence when I was uncertain.

Really lovely instructor James who made me feel really confident to pass my test first try in Salisbury with no minors! He even took me to Wales during the lessons and gave me some motorway practice too which has made me feel really ready for independent driving!

Just passed my test after a week intensive course with Stuart and he was amazing worked with me all the way with my aniexty made me feel at ease within 10 minutes of being in the car on a bad day. 100% recommend Stuart to anyone. Thank you for all your help.

Fantastic experience with Garry at 2nd2NONE. Really supportive and gave me the confidence to make better decisions when driving. The instructor, Garry gave clear guidance on how I could improve my driving and his friendly manner and expertise made the experience an enjoyable one as well as a valuable one. My stepdaughter Libby had an amazing time with 2nd2none under 17s on 12/07/25.
Stuart Etheridge was amazing at bringing out an unseen confidence in her. Libby had done u17s with another company in the past but had not been made to feel as comfortable as she did with Stuart or able to achieve the level of indepedance she has this time.
Libby said Stuart was very easy to get along with and understanding, he was a very positive person and this helped her confidence and learning.

Do not book lessons if your child ( in our case) is likely to be poorly on the day. We previously paid £150 for 3hrs in the afternoon but he was ill in the morning and unable to drive so we lost it all, no negotiation, no ability to transfer to another time or day - just " tough luck" attitude. This was at the Shaftesbury branch.
