I managed to pass my part1 , part2 and part 3 training with Fordy’s and it only took me 10 months and I passed all tests 1st time! I'm the worse person to doubt my own abilities but Alan always told me I could do it and yesterday I gained my ADI badge to become an official driving instructor! I attended weekly training sessions with the lovely Paul (trainer) and he supported me right the way through, I couldn't of done it without him! we always had a laugh during our training and he made me feel at ease which every single training session helped boost my low self-esteem thank you so much Paul you're amazing! also other ADIs/PDIs helped me through the process by letting me sit in their lessons to observe or giving me advice or lending me books ect! I am so happy that I choose Fordy’s to do my training with to become a driving instructor it's been the best decision I've made to change my career! Thank you to everyone who helped me on my journey 💚💚💚

sam was very helpful and funny. Makes good jokes and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. i highly recommend him as i passed first time with only 1 minor.

Flipping Gary man. I passed first time with 2 minors and there's no-one I can commend more than Gary Instruction himself. If you get Gary, consider yourself lucky because you're in good hands. Cheers mate, you get five stars, from me and from me again. That's 10 stars.

Having been messed around by 4 previous instructors with my older two children, Gary was a breath of fresh air and an amazing instructor.

My son had a regular slot for which Gary was always on time for (unlike previous instructors) and my son absolutely loved his lessons despite being unsure whether he wanted to learn or not.

Within 6 months my son had a first time pass with just two minors................would highly recommend, thank you!

My daughter passed her test first time with Rob as an instructor. She went from a nervous, shy girl to a confident, chatty young lady behind the wheel in no time. Brilliant instructor who gradually built her confidence and brought her driving on tremendously. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks Rob and Fordys

Fordys is such a great driving school. Tracey was my instructor and she never gave up on me. Not only has she helped me pass my test, but my confidence in myself has increased by a lot. Such a great teacher.

Sam is a great driving instructor, very thoughtful and patient. He made my experience learning to drive better than I could have imagined, highly recommend!

Glynn is the best driving instructor by far - when you ring Fordy’s ask for Glynn and no-one else. This hunk of man will get the pass your looking for!

I wanted to learn with Fordy’s because they were recommended on Reddit as having good instructors and a good pass-rate.

Matt was honestly the best instructor I could ask for.

Each lesson was a healthy mix of instructor-directed and self-directed learning.

They have a dedicated app that you can use to self-evaluate your own competencies across various driving skill-sets; which makes it easier to spot deficiencies in certain areas, etc.

Instructor-directed learning was based on what he thought I needed to improve upon based on previous lessons, but he (Matt) was more than happy for me to guide the learning for each lesson if I felt I wanted to up-skill in specific areas.

Matt made me feel comfortable and confident throughout. He was always patient and never expressed any sort of frustration when I got things wrong. If I got anything wrong — he was always ready to talk me through the ‘how and why’, to ensure I could learn from mistakes and improve — including hand-drawn examples and/or links to external learning material.

With credit to Matt’s teaching methods - I passed first-time!

Just passed my test, massive thanks to Dave was a massive help throughout my driving journey and ultimately made me pass. Would recommend to new learners go through Dave he is the best.

I had a great instructor. Gary was always reassuring, prompt and provided great feedback. He was really flexible to my difficult timetable and always provided enough notice when a lesson had to be moved. I'm really thankful that he was my instructor

I had done lessons before with a previous instructor from a different school where I felt I wasnt getting anywhere, within my first lesson with Gary I was able to get not only more confident in my own abilities as a driver but I had become more capable within that time than 3/4 hours with a different instructor. He assessed my ability well.

The facilities the school provides - the app made it really easy to see my progress, provide feedback and goals for my next lesson, know when my next lesson was and plan with my instructor.

It was easy to get in touch with the school to arrange initial lessons.

I began learning to drive with Fordy's about 2 months ago. I had Ammar as an instructor and I cannot emphasise enough how great of a teacher he was. He adapted his teaching style to match the best way I learned, was incredibly friendly throughout the entire process and I genuinnely looked forward to my lessons with him. I have just passed my test with zero minors and it was a breeze!

I had a great experience learning with Dave and passed first time thanks to his support. Dave is professional, patient, and incredibly personable, which made every lesson feel comfortable and stress-free. As a nervous driver, I really appreciated his calm approach and clear guidance; it helped build my confidence quickly. I’d highly recommend Dave to anyone, especially if you’re feeling anxious about learning to drive.

Gary always pushed me even when I found it really hard and scary . Also believed in me especially as I find it really hard to concentrate and he came up with ways to make me remember everything and made me feel calm. With my previous instructors I had to always prepare myself to try act ‘Normal’ but with Gary you don’t need too act you can just be yourself .

Glynn is a great guy. Clear and easy instructions to help me pass 1st try with only 2 minor faults. Would definitely recommend Glynn as your instructor!

I passed my driving test first time thanks to my instructor Alanna. I switched from a different company to Fordys where I was a very nervous driver. From the first lesson with Alanna, she was patient, professional, and incredibly supportive. She explained everything clearly and helped build my confidence step by step, which made a huge difference to my driving.

Lessons were always well-structured and relaxed, and I never felt rushed or pressured. Any mistakes were explained calmly, and I was given tips that really helped me improve.

After roughly 6 months of lessons, I felt fully prepared going into my test, and passing first time is a credit to Alanna’s excellent teaching. I would highly recommend Alanna to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable driving instructor. Thank you again for all your help!
