From Favorite to Disappointment
I’ve been using WP Rocket for years and was always happy with it – until now. Their recent change from unlimited websites to only 500 and 100 sites feels completely unfair, especially since the prices have gone up by more than 100%.
Like many others, I used WP Rocket across several smaller projects, but now it’s just way too expensive. Changes like this should affect new customers, not loyal ones who’ve supported the product for years.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but this time they truly deserve 1 star. It’s a shame to see a great product go down this road.

Due to the extreme (insane) price…
Due to the extreme (insane) price increases over the last few years, and removal of the plan I have been using, I am already looking for another plugin to replace WP Rocket for my customers. Too bad, because I know there are alot of associates that feel the same way.

Pretty disgruntled with WP Rocket
Pretty disgruntled with WP Rocket. Bought an infinite license in good faith, went to renew said license to find they'd changed that to a tiered license and my price had gone up for pleasure. The tier they put me on was at it's maximum, so one more activation and I'd have to upgrade again. Thanks for your business, but we're going to shaft you for being a loyal customer.

No magic speeds, but simply a good tool
I run a newssite on a VPS with high resources. It is not a static site by highly dynamic. With over 51.000 posts to date and 32.000 images and 20 new posts every day, good caching is both important and sometimes complicated. WP-Rocket does a great job, but settings can be more challencing with a dynamic site. Preload for instance is not a great option for my site, but does wonders with a static site. Minifying CSS or delaying Javascript must always be followed with testing, testing and testing.
For me this paid caching plugin offers enough for me to buy it, but there are many others like WP Fastest Cache or WP Super Cache who can do the job for you for free. Bonus with WP-Rocket lisence is great support. Can be very usefull with more complex sites or if you are not that tech savy. No caching plugin makes you site fly, but with WP-Rocket I experience a meanigfull performance boost for my site.

Good software but rising prices every year
Great software, but rising prices every year, also for their paying customers (I am customer since 2019). Bad practice, I am happy that other WP companies do not behave the same as I had to close my WP business if they did.
Just like that they cut my unlimited licence to 50 website licence today. So yes you get a great piece of software but in regards to your business too much suprises happen that can ruin you business.

Customer service is 1st class, yesterday I received an email from Suzan & Johan at Rocket with questions to help her solve some issues I had been having. She informed me every time an issue was solved and asked me to check. Her last email was at 9 pm, saying everything should now be fine, and it was.
