On my second day with Wildanet, I left and went back to Virgin: I was still without an internet service from Wildanet and the engineer will not visit till Monday, leaving me with no internet for at least a week.
Based on yesterday's no-show by an engineer, despite Sarah's assurance that he would come, I doubt Monday will be any different.
For me internet is an essential service and I have Zoom meetings this week, therefore I have rejoined Virgin Media.
On Monday, installation day, the engineer, Lewis, asked me to retain the packaging of the Nokia router in case it failed and left before the router updated. I infer from this that he knew this router update might fail, which it did, and was not interested in ensuring the system worked, probably on instructions from his manager.
My impression is that the customer facing staff are pleasant and reasonable. Sarah and Scott booked engineer visits to meet my needs, but the engineers soon changed them to meet their needs. The engineering department have no concept of customer service and offer a shoddy product and a shoddy service.

initially i would have given 4stars, as their was a slight issue, but i called customer service (Finley Boys) who rectified it straight away,

Overall a very good experience so far. Mark was a patient, clear sales rep and Lewis was a friendly, considerate installer. However, a week later the the broadband cut out. The customer service answered the phone straight away and Colin's team came to fix it the very next day. All is well.
I have had a few other issues as a new customer, and the Customer service line has answered promptly and solved the issue every time. So why not 5 star ? Well maybe if all is well till the end of our 2 year contract .

I had the wifi installed at my property - the engineer Aaron who came to do it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Came on time, explained everything, was careful and considerate and even took off his boots when installing inside. Not all people do. Aaron was amazing. Thank you.

Having moved into our new home and being told we wouldn’t be able to get full fibre I was looking at our limited options when a friend mentioned trying Wildanet. So pleased I did, not only could they provide us with super fast full fibre but everyone I’ve had contact with has been incredible - friendly, efficient and helpful. From the sales team to the engineers I’ve been made to feel like a valued customer. A special mention to Aaron, our engineer who connected us up today - he explained everything clearly and went the extra mile to ensure the cabling was as neat and unobtrusive as possible. A credit to the company! We’re now up and running and I’m extremely impressed with the connection speed. I would highly recommend this company.

Took advantage of a cancellation to
have interior installation at short notice. Staff organising the installation were efficient and pro active. Both fitters were very amenable and professional.
Only criticism would be lack of foreknowledge about restrictions on the limitations on how far into the house the router would be. 3m of cable inside means our router is in a corner of the house and devices are still connecting to our previous provider, while their signal still exists, as it is stronger.

Initial communication to sell me thr package was very easy ans straight forward. Communication around the installation date wasn't so good initially but was sorted out after calling the office. The people who visited for the initial site visit were not very courteous at all when they came. The engineers who did the installation were great very efficient friendly and did a great job. I have to say I'm really disappointed with the wifi strength I live in a bungalow and signal in some rooms is really poor. Compared to my old sky router it's really poor despite faster download speeds to the router my childrens devices in their rooms don't connect well at all. Disappointed

After being let down by bt for over a year whilst being charged for the service I wasn't receiving they never installed the line. Got a knock at the door by wildernet and although it took a few months to get a line in due to my location just got connected today and all is good. Great customer service and friendly teams doing the work. Jack and josh were fantastic

I have been using Wildanet for some time now and overall I am very happy with the service. The connection speed is stable and the internet has been reliable.
There was one confusing issue with a payment refund, but the support team replied quickly and resolved everything without any problems.
Thanks to Adriana Szymanska, Tsara Leslie-Jones for their help and quick response.
Overall, a good service and I would recommend this provider.
