Terrible experience at Wiber Alicante. We arrived a little early and were told to stand aside and wait 20 minutes before they’d even speak to us. When they finally did, they informed us that the car we had booked didn’t even exist in their fleet — not a great start.
The attitude from the staff was rude from the first interaction and got progressively worse. When our bank’s location setting blocked the €1100 deposit, they refused to try another credit card and basically shut down any cooperation. The only thing they were eager to do was upsell us a full insurance package (even though we had already paid for insurance via Booking.com) for a price that was almost double the rental cost.
When I said we felt like “second-rank” customers because we booked through Booking.com, the agent literally acknowledged it. Another customer walking out at that moment said he had just gone through the same nonsense.
We cancelled the booking immediately and accepted the cancellation fee just to get out of there. After seeing how many other travellers report similar issues, I’m honestly relieved we didn’t drive away with one of their cars.
In my opinion, something is very off here, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before renting from this location.

Con diferencia, el peor operador que he conocido. Solicitas una baja, y te obligan a ir a una tienda física que está a 100 kilómetros de distancia (para el alta te lo ponen todo muy fácil, todo online). Tras discutir con ellos, me indican que hacen una excepción y me permiten enviar el router pero no me facilitan la documentación de la baja hasta que no reciban el router. Me obligan a pagar los gastos de envío del router (cosa que es ilegal según Telecomunicaciones). Hago el envío del router asumiendo yo los gastos pero, ojo... Como cobran anticipadamente la cuota, cuando solicito la parte proporcional del mes que no he disfrutado, me dicen que tienen hasta 3 meses para realizar la devolución. Un despropósito...

He recibido una atención muy cercana y profesional. Las personas que me atendieron conocían bien el producto y me explicaron todo con claridad. Aunque finalmente no contraté porque no se ajustaba exactamente a lo que buscaba, el trato fue excelente y la experiencia ha sido positiva.

Un peu déçus
Au moment de recevoir la voiture, Wiber nous annonce que l’assurance que nous avons payée 135€ sur Discover Car n’est pas reconnue chez eux.
Nous avons donc dû payer 200€ de plus.
Quand nous nous sommes plaints, ils ́nous ont répondu qu’il vaut mieux passer directement par eux la prochaine fois pour éviter ce problème.
Et nous n’avons eu aucune assistance car Wiber estime qu’on doit se débrouiller avec Discover Car.
Pour info, ils n’acceptent pas non plus l’assurance fournie par la carte de crédit. On peut l’utiliser mais il faut dans ce cas faire un dépôt de Rs 2500!!!!
On a déjà loué des voitures dans de nombreux pays et c’est la première fois qu’on rencontre cette situation.
Dommage car sinon le service est bon.

A little disappointed
When we received the car, Wiber told us that the insurance we had paid €135 for on Discover Car was not recognised by them.
We therefore had to pay an extra €200.
When we complained, they ́said it would be better to go through them directly next time to avoid this problem.
And we didn't get any assistance because Wiber reckons you have to sort it out with Discover Car.
For the record, they don't accept credit card insurance either. You can use it, but you have to pay a deposit of Rs 2500!!!!
We've rented cars in many countries before and this is the first time we've come across this situation.
It's a pity because otherwise the service is good.

No cogen el teléfono, te ponen la contestación informatizada, te dicen que eres lo más importante para wiber y a los 2 minutos y 18 segundos te cuelgan y está es la tercera vez que me pasa. Osea que esto me hace pensar que si tienes una avería es imposible que te la solucionen al no poder contactar con ellos.

Llevo 6 años con Wiber y siempre me han brindado un trato profesional y cercano, tanto comerciales como técnicos. El servicio es rápido y estable. Muy recomendable para quienes valoran la calidad y el soporte. ¡Un 10 para todo el equipo!

Desde el 1 de Junio, 2025 he renovado el contrato aumentado a 600gb fibra simetrica, como no paro de tener incidencias en la red, pensando que esté sistema me ayudaría a solventar las incidencias, también he cambiado la contraseña, realizaron un tet de velocidad y me daba 312mb/s de subida y 240.84mb/s de bajada a través y Jazztel - Más móvil de Madrid, considero una tomadura de pelo, creo que me están engañando y no cumplen con lo contratado, pagando más cuota por menos servicio.
En cuanto entre otra operadora me cambio.
A la hora de contratar no te informan de estas anomalías.
Me resulta difícil creer lo que me están haciendo esta compañía.

De lo peor no llevo ni una semana y nada más que caídas de teléfono y de internet nunca he tenido tantas historias como con ellos

Lamentable, al principio iba fenomenal pero a fecha de hoy solo hay problemas, o todo el día sin wifi o un a conexión muy baja, tengo contratados 600 megas y me llegan 4.02, honestamente me resulta bastante patético por que no es ni la primera ni la segunda vez que pasa.
Si me preguntan no la recomiendo por que a la larga te cansas de los problemas.

Desde hoy por la tarde sin Internet en Churriana todos sus abonados. Llamas y todo el rato el contestador, diciendo que “valoran tu tiempo y que te devolverán la llamada”. Te han llamado a ti? A mi tampoco. Vergonzoso. Esta misma semana cambio de proveedor

Friendly, helpful staff, good regular shuttle bus, good car. I have hired Wiber cars at both Malaga and Alicante—I've been happy with both. This particular review is of the car I received at Malaga Airport—this venue didn't appear in the drop-down menu.Staff didn't do the hard sell of taking out their own excess insurance when I told them that I already had this arranged. Wiber will be my first choice to try when I next need to rent a car in Spain!

Vermietung nicht am Airport Malaga, sondern nur mit Shuttle erreichbar, aber schnell und sehr freundlich. Kein Überreden zu zusätzlicher Versicherung. Leichte Beulen im Fahrzeug, aber die waren dokumentiert, sofortige Rückzahlung der Tankfüllung.

Wiber m'a force de prendre un assurance additionnel, ils m'ont explique si je ne prend pas l'assurance additionnel ils vont charger plus de 300 euro de mon caution.

Más de 10 horas sin internet y presumiendo en su web de 28 minutos de media para resolver incidencias.
Será en su pueblo, en el mío por supuesto que no.

Acar rental company that will punish you with completely unreasonable fees.
Apparently WIBER has a smart “upload of damages” on their app. and online.
PROBLEM: You cannot access the photos when they have chosen to end the rental and invoice you for three damages we did not cause. The damages were on the car we received and we mentioned it to the rental company who replied “No problems”.
Fortunately, we took photos and uploaded them to Wiber, but as mentioned, could not access them online or on the app, when they had ended the rental.
I found the photos of exactly the mentioned damages, which we had taken on a mobile camera at the start of the rental on 22/3.
They were of course completely correctly dated, but they would not approve them.
They charge you:
*If you are in a hurry, have to catch a flight.
*If you do not want to buy insurance from Wiber (We had bought full cover through RyanAir/RentalCover)
*If you do not get in writing that the car has been inspected
Reasonable rental price (it seemed), but Wiber will definitely make sure that YOU will pay overprice in the end:-(
NOTE! Their high “rating” is because you give the employee and WIBER a review on a touch screen, but BEFORE the car is delivered and of course before it is returned. REALLY poor customer service, and could observe that several people were subjected to the same treatment in the 50 minutes it took to return the car.
Especially one WIBER person acted directly threating to me and my wife.
Overall a totally bad experience leaving Alicante & Spain

Nicht zu empfehlen, absolute Abzocke, und 300€ abgebucht. Das Fahrzeug hatte ca 40 Schäden. Aggressives Verhalten.

Nefasto el evicio , desagradables a la hora de tener que darte explicaciones, y falta de experiencia se van pasando la pelota de un departamento al otro sin recibir ninguna llamada

Atención al cliente de la mayoria de los operadores con muy mala educación y sin repeto al cliente, no te subsanadas ningún problema y la facturación cuando les da la gana te incluyen el registro de llamadas y cuando no le da la gana no te las incluyen y aunque las reclames no te las llegan a mandar nunca. Les pongo una estrella ya qué no puedo poner -100 estrellas, llevo muchos años con ellos, desde que era Mismenet y hoy si puedo es mi último día con esta nefasta empresa.
