I bought the LUMENPRO Red Light Therapy…
I bought the LUMENPRO Red Light Therapy Blanket Bag (£349.99) from Welzo. When I unboxed it, it gave off a strong chemical smell that made me feel sick. I laid it flat to air out for over a week, but the smell didn't fade. I haven't used the blanket and don't feel safe keeping it in my home.
I asked to return it. For the first week, I got what read like automated chatbot emails: a 14-day return window and a line saying a physical defect hadn't been "confirmed." I had to escalate repeatedly before anyone else got involved, and even then, they refused to apply the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee on their own product listing or my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Customer service is automated - difficult to get to a human. The only contact is a generic hello@ address. I looked the company up on Linkedin, got the founders name and I found his email address through Clearpay, and it bounced. Dodgy.
I've now opened a dispute with Clearpay, stopped the final payment and sent them all my evidence. I will report them to Trading Standards too.
If you're buying anything expensive here, don't count on the advertised guarantee or returns policy. In my experience, Welzo didn't honour either once there was a problem.
Welzo calls itself a wellness company. A product that still gives off a strong plastic smell after weeks of airing out doesn't fit that description, and it's made me doubt the quality of everything else they sell.

Supplier with range diversity
Apparently if you are old and male and have BPA its worth experimenting with combined Saw Palmetto and Stinging Nettle Root. But not all suppliers have both and at least one other supplier uses bovine gelatine capsules. Welzo have both and use vegetable origin capsules, are reasonably priced and efficient. So thank you Welzo for the chance to find out what the combination actually does. And in case you are wondering - so far so good. A reduction in night time trips to wee.....

So far, great communication, prompt delivery and a good sales pitch. I've only been trying the product for a few days but if it does what it said on the tin, then I will recommend this to all of my friends and family. The internet is full of lies, there seems to be no Trading standards anymore, so purchasing anything is always so hit and miss. Quick delivery of products. Good prices too. The blood tests are finger prick tests which worked well for me but my husband not, he has a health condition so taking blood isn’t great. However I think they are sending replacement tests which is great. The results were very quick.
