In December 2024 my partner bought me a…
In December 2024 my partner bought me a diamond channel set half eternity ring in platinum that I chose as a wedding ring. At the time we were delighted with the service we received.
However in July 2026 I noticed one of the diamonds had sunk slightly.
I returned to Brufords and was told they would send the ring to the workshop although they couldn’t see a problem with it.
The manufacturer then came back and said the diamond was cracked due to an impact the ring received.
I explained to Brufords that there had been no accident with the ring and how could I have damaged just one diamond when there was no mention of any other damage.
I explained that under consumers rights Act 2015 goods should be of a satisfactory quantity, fit for purpose and as described. I therefore requested that the ring be repaired at no charge to me.
Brufords have refused and I have been left to pay £120 as they only agreed to pay £48 as a goodwill gesture.
I now have my ring back but feel I cannot wear it all the time as I am concerned of further problems and more expense.
Needless to say we won’t be returning to Brufords for any further purchases.

Faultless as always
As always at Brufords my watch and bracelet repairs were completed quickly and efficiently.
Wendy I have known for a long time and her input - as it was this time - was invaluable, I knew she would have the solution to making my bracelet wearable again!

I’d like to say a huge thank you to Simon and Harry at Brufords Rolex Eastbourne for making my son’s birthday extra special.
From start to finish, the service was fantastic. Simon and Harry were incredibly helpful, friendly and professional, and they went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable.
The engraving was absolutely brilliant and finished to a really high standard. It added a very personal touch to an already special gift, and my son was delighted with it.
