Supervisor refused to talk to me

"Technician" on the phone refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Guess I'll be refusing to continue this contract. Terrible service in an era where people work from home is unacceptable.

Worst customer service that I've ever…

Worst customer service that I've ever experienced. Canceled my service in early Nov. Expected my refund 6 to 8 weeks. No refund....called at least 8 times and every customer service rep. I spoke to lied to me. Even the ones that called me back supposedly with updates, lied to me. One even had the gaul to tell me it was mailed on Dec 25th and I told her she was lying.
Seriously, these people have to be trained to lie to customers. Horrible service, glad I'm no longer using it.

Haven't had internet for 7 days

Haven't had internet for 7 days. Told multiple times a Roger's technician would be able to come and fix the issue and I still haven't seen a tech they have no eta and I have no internet. Cannot get someone in a Toronto office either. Not worth it if they can't figure out how to get Roger's to check the line. Stay away, as this is not the first time.

Horrible incoherent customers service

Their customers service and tech support sucks . After they transfered me to tech support after fee minutes of talk with useless tech that doesn't even speak decent English my phone call was dropped , or disconnected . I tried again 3 more times each with the same result . Dropped disconnecting my phone calls , incoherent agents that don't speak English - horrible customers service -I will be dropping them after this experience and will place a complaint with CCTR

company lies about no hiden deposits or fees then they try to upsell you on garbage you dont need . lure you in offering what you want then suprize attack you with a 65 dollar up front fee . every agent is east indian and have no clue what your saying . terible company . stay away

Constant harassment for payment without providing any service even after saying that I had cancelled my service with them

Horrible Customer Service

Vmedia is generally good when it's running, or when you want to add or subtract channels - then you can get through.
Otherwise their customer service in non-existent - their online chat doesn't work while their call in line puts you on hold indefinitely - I've never been able to contact anyone in customer service for 3 years. Their standard practice is to notify customers of a service shutdown well AFTER the shutdown happens.

Truly appalling

As other people have said, I want to give no stars for the truly appalling service of this company. My WiFi lost connection with all my devices and after three days I telephoned their Customer Service. After waiting 1 hour 40 minutes, I got through to someone who said they could do nothing unless I had a Windows computer or laptop. I didn’t, so he said I had to arrange to get one and then call them back! Before he could hang up, I asked him if that was all he could offer. He then said he could raise a ticket for a technician to call, but I may have to pay $200 + GST!! When I asked why, he started yelling at me to keep quiet until he’d finished!! He carried on yelling and being insulting for a while, until I said I would leave it and get another provider. He then said he’d raise a ticket anyway and then mixed up my phone number with someone else’s. In the end, I think he got it right. Downright incompetent and rude. Let’s hope I fare better when I return the modem, but from other reviews, I’m not optimistic!!

Technical support unmmaned on weekends

I have been a VMedia customer for over five years. They were great in the beginning, but unfortunately the service at all levels has gone downhill. The internet can be slow, and the modem gets out of whack easily, either when friends connect to my internet or when I've tried to use a VPN in the past. They do not follow regulations where it comes to customer communications, will skirt their obligations if possible when it comes to providing detailed bills and records, and lately, they do not respond to chat messages or calls for technical support on the weekend, despite advertising this availability.

I have spent nearly three hours on hold over the last two days trying to get my modem reconfigured - a simple ten minute task that just requires an agent to provide the inputs over chat - and haven't been a callback or even an acknowledgement of having received my message in the online chat.

At this stage, I would sadly recommend avoiding VMedia and looking into 5g wireless modems to hotspot off your phone as an affordable alternative. Save yourself the headache and the money!

I have been without internet now for…

I have been without internet now for almost two days and work from home. It’s been an absolute nightmare. Anytime I call, I’m on hold for hours and nobody picks up. The only way you can get ahold of someone is if you press the prompt that you’re a new customer you will get to speak to someone but they won’t help with my issue and keep putting me on with technical support who doesn’t answer their phone.

I am going to have to look for an alternate internet provider since they won’t help. Avoid!

Abysmal customer service & zero support infrastructure

There was an internet outage during the work day. I have been on hold for 2-3 hours at a time on the phone only to be hung up on twice when someone finally answered before speaking a word. I was on waiting on their online help chat for two days each time someone came online FINALLY after hours only to leave the chat immediately.

No notice of outage on their website, updates or what to do or expect. Never have I experienced such abysmal customer service.

Day two now, no response to emails, calls or chats nor has the outage been fully fixed.

Awful. Drops multiple times a day. No support.

When I started with vmedia in 2019, the service was decent. They got me connected and up and running just fine.

However, over the years, the connection has become steadily worse, to the point now where it is dropping more than 10 times a day and preventing me from connecting to random websites - including their own!

I tried to talk to technical support, but they didn’t even respond.

Unacceptable Call Wait Times

I have been with Vmedia for 11 years. I have not had a disproportionate amount of technical issues across this span of time, however, I do have a bone to pick when it comes to their Customer Service and today…well, today was the straw that broke the camels back, so to speak.

I have been trying to get someone on the phone for THREE DAYS now. Yes, 3 days.

Every time I attempt a call, I am waiting 20, 30, 40 minutes. I end up having to hang up. As I am writing this, I am on my 4the attempt today alone and we’re already at the 17 minute mark without anyone picking up.

Their online chat? Either doesn’t work, or they just don’t respond. Tried that a few times in the past and twice today. I can’t get in touch with a person- and this is UNACCEPTABLE.

I even sent an email to their support email and didn’t receive so much as a peep.

My next step is to file a complaint with the BBB, and CRTC.

A service business needs to be reachable. This company is beyond difficult to communicate with. They weren’t always like this either. Just in the past year.

There customer service sucks they won't work with a person they only hire people that don't speak good English been with for quite some time and never get a good agent ask to speak to a supervisor and they won't let you really considering switching to purple cow
