Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service! Do not come here to get your dog vaccinated ! I took my dog here on March 9th according to them they"email you your dogs vaccinations paper" i still haven't received they are a poor excuse for a f.cking place of business that is a lawsuit .. what do yall have to hide ? If your thinking of coming here STAY FAR AWAY I don't know what they have going on maybe I need to bring the police to this location in order to get my dogs paperwork this is sad shouldn't have to go through this much trouble unless they aren't actually doing what they are supposed I have called and called them emailed them text NO RESPOND whatsoever and they will send u a link to "get your dogs vaccine email" then it states no email found but its okay I surely will be up there with the police about MY animals health and safety and concerns
Vippetcare is a money racket
I turned my dogs stool sample in to the vippetcare clinic at my local tractor supply on Sunday. On Monday I got an email that she has a parasite but I have tried for 2 days via the phone number and even tried the supposed live chat but have been completely unsuccessful at being able to get anyone on the phone or live chat. I can’t treat my dog until I know what the parasite is! They advertise they are here for you basically anytime ans this isn’t true! I even tried to speak to the live vet via the app that they advertise. Do yourself a favor and take your dog to your own vet where you can actually get answers and assistance instead of oh by the way your dog has a parasite and then no further information on what it is or how to treat! This is a money racket!

While the staff was very pleasant and I liked the vet administering my requested vaccinations, this service is not for me. I was sold a package instead of individual shot price. Not sure which would have been less cost but not given the option. Too, took cat who is very afraid of other people. Would not allow me to handle/hold my pet for the shots which would have been easier than leaving it in carrier and trying to reach in. Being in an open store like TSC, if cat got loose, could have been out the auto open door and gone very quickly. I, too, thought cost the same or higher than vet office, so might as well had exam fee. First time using and is my last. Doesn’t work for me. Hope the shots were legitimate.
Services are SHADY
Services are SHADY. At any turn they force more vaccinations than required to make a dollar. Annual rabies shot was due 2 months ago so they would only say this next shot was good for a year….goes against all logic.
Sold My Information
I used my city mailing address. I got a letter from NY collection company on behalf of City of Sacramento, describing my pets, when they were vaccinated, and that I did not have city license on file. The letter was demanding almost $300 in licensing fees. Luckily, my pets don't live within the City of Sacramento. All your information is for sale by this company and they don't notify you or get your permission. Unethical.
Traumatized my dog
We took our Cooper to this team of so called vets for his shots and 3 year rabies. He was traumatized so badly that he wouldn't walk for 36 hours! I'll NEVER allow those SOBs to come near my dog again. I am strongly resisting the urge to visit, find those two bi***es and traumatize their sorry, goat smelling asses.
By the way, these animal abusers charged us $178.00 for traumatizing and mistreating Cooper. I intend to recoup every cent.

We spent an hour in line to discover that the vip pet care personnel were NOT interested in providing service for our dog.
Apparently you need a reem of paperwork for them to even check your dog!
The prices we overheard in front of us were much higher than any local veterinary office.
They were unable to chip any dogs because they didn't have the chips!
Unprepared, Unhelpful, Pointless, Frumpy and Dismissive!
Never take your animal to one of these traveling medicine shows.
Poor Service
We have been going to VIPPetcare for years very dissatisfied with the service we received on our latest visit, we no longer will be using them for our pet.
Lost fecal sample, long holds, poor service
It's been months and they never sent the results for my dog's parasite test. I've called several times. 25+ minute hold times. This company is short staffed and clearly disorganized. I don't have the confidence that the results will even be for my dog. If the sample can get lost, it can also get swapped with another animal.
One star customer service experience
I spoke with Erika a customer service representative about my cat’s missing heart worm medication that was suppose to be delivered to my apartments delivery service called Fetch and it was subpar. She was unhelpful, condescending, and passive aggressive when I told her I never received the product. Not sure about other representatives, but if you get Erika as your customer representative I suggest you ask for someone else.

Lady that performed the rapid was aggressive with my cat. Very stern and rude to me the pet owner. Used vip pet clinic before will not be returning. Already told others not good idea to schedule with Them. Other team members tried to be nice and helpful. Please have more customer training with staff.

Nice website but you can NEVER reach them even on their chat. Ridiculous. Read through these reviews! I've never seen worse.
Refuse to honor 3 yr rabies vaccine for 12 1/2 yr old dog who has been vaccinated every 3 years since finishing his puppy shots!
My 12 1/2 yr old dog was due for his next 3 yr rabies vaccine. When we went to Tractor Supply's VIP Petcare clinic in Athens, Ga., we were told he could only get a 1 yr vaccine. I sent proof to them that he was eligible for a 3 yr designation - and also due to his age, THEY should know that over-vaccinating him may be detrimental to his health at this point. Corporate greed wins with these people. They don't care about my senior dog... only that they think they can put another rabies in him next year. Any REAL vet would have honored what was right for this senior dog. SHAME on these people. Horrible experience and lied to by the vet that issued the vaccine who said that contacting the company this could be corrected. They declined to honor per our previous vaccination certificate in the state of Georgia.

I have to agree with everyone else on the rating-I would give a 0 if possible. Customer service is HORRIBLE. I have been waiting 3 weeks now for someone to upgrade my 3 dogs rabies vaccines from 1 year to 3 years, Apparently 1 month late , they were due in May and I had them vaccinated in June, makes it a yearly vaccine instead of 3 years. No one helps, they are rude when you do finally speak with someone, they give you the run around and are absolutely NO HELP. Initially, I was very happy when I went and thought I would let others know about this service but I have ABSOLUTLY changed my mind and will steer all my friends and acquaintances far from this company. So here we still wait for any update to this issue. I even went to Tractor supply to talk with staff there to get a resolution and as usual no help there either. Oh they "will let corporate know what is happening and they will let corporate know that BOTH vets say it is Ok to update my records" but What- Nothing Par for the course. Gave my pets vaccines myself
Letter to VIP: Dear VIP Staff,
Once again, I gathered up all my pets, (1 Dog and 2 cats) and drove a long distance to get my animal's vaccinations at your scheduled clinic at Rainbow AG on the first Saturday of every month. Last several times your clinics kept canceling. I was so angry about your scheduling problems and another no-show, I had to figure out another way to get affordable pet vaccines for my pets. It dawned on me that this corporation does not care about pets with your track record of cancellations. I literally drove my pets home and dropped them off and drove another half hour in the other direction to another Rainbow AG and purchased all my pets, including my friend's pets' vaccines, followed the directions, and administered them myself. Cost, is $57.00 for the vaccines. I saved all of us approximately $400.00
If I need to have their rabies re-done later I can take them to a Humane Society which is another low cost solution. It is costly with the high price of gas to come to VIP's no-show clinics. VIP just lost another customer and I will share my experience with others.

Vip Pet used to be a good company. I don't know what has happened. Prices used to be up front and nothing hidden. I can't find prices anywhere anymore. Not even on their website. This is ridiculous. I'm on a limited income and need to know how much a visit is going to cost me BEFORE I show up. I WILL NOT use VIP Pet again. They have ruined a good service.
Tech needs more experience with dogs
I had decent experiences with VIP before, now going on our dog’s 12th year and we got sent home without his shots or heart worm meds. He grumbled at the tech after we were there waiting over 40 min. with other dogs barking. The tech brought us a muzzle and after putting it on refused to help get him weighed and said our dog was attacking him, even with the muzzle on. Which the dog was not trying to attack him. So the vet told us they could not give him the shots and that they would normally sent us out the store with a dog like that. I felt attacked myself and it was quite embarrassing. He is old and just needed a little patience. I guess I learned my lesson with “cheaper” services. They did not “care” about our old boy.
