Placed an order for a part which I had asked for clarification on just that it would fit my make/model. Got a few automated messages about the order then a phone call at work berating me for not responding in time. The guy I spoke to was extremely agitated right away - I tried to explain but he just cut me off saying I was rude and that he would cancel the order. This business has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON.

Wow! Asked a question regarding what parts might be needed for my vehicle & was told they would not be offering free advice & that I would need to pay for any information or help. Worst customer service EVER!!! 🤣

Terribly rude.Stay away from this company!closed a chat as I had closed my phone to attend to something then was told I was rude and they would not supply my parts because of this.Told them it was terrible customer service only to be told I was the rude one with no manners.Im astounded worked in customer service myself for years and would never not supply something due to a closed chat.I wonder based on all these other reviews if they actually like their jobs or want repeat customers?

Strangest initial response from a customer service live chat ever... this is from Dan too.
I feel better knowing everyone gets this treatment and I didn't just catch him on a bad day.
I Brought an incorrect door control module from them (my mistake, and I saw their no returns policy but before I threw or stashed it away I thought I'd ask if they ever buy parts back at a fraction of the cost to resell to someone who needs it and got a bit!$y response right off the bat...

Dan: "why don't ou just apply your effort to making sure you buy the correct part? No. We do not - it cannot be stated much more clearly
is there anything you ctually need help with?"

Me: "Why you being a bitc$ about it? Was just asking the question."

Dan: "Have a good day. Please do not attemp to buy from us. We are not here to be abused by entitled brats. If you try to buy we will not supply"

Do not make the mistake I made and call him a b$%@ or you may receive a life ban like me.

Sent email re part for Audi A3, rude and condescending email in response, sent an email stating there Terms and Conditions (on website). "We would rather help by answering your questions than have you buy a part that does not fit correctly"

Got this reply: "That is all the time we are willing to spend on such a simple enquiry for someone who purports to be in the trade"

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT DEALING WITH THESE GUYS...They do not want to help, even though it is in their terms and conditions!!

This guy is unbelievable. I thought it was just me but he is just ignorant. Waiting for refund for a duff sensor that I overpaid for. I am going to enjoy taking this guy to court.

I contacted VAG about a sensor and got this reply: "We should have that sensor here used genuine for $80 including non-rural delivery"
I replied"
"You should have - Does that mean you might have one or do you actually have one?
used genuine - Is that a genuine VW part but it is a second hand part?
Delivery - Where does the part come from and what is the lead time?"

Best you find this elsewhere Deon, and maybe stay off the net altogether, since comprehension is causing you issues
Used means, well, used
Genuine, means genuine
Including delivery means, including delivery
Should have means will check 100%, only if you are a real buyer at price quoted, and not a tyre-kicker
Where does it come from? Jesus wept man – read the large banners on front page of store, or if you want even more details, make a small effort and read the Shipping Conditions page

I suggest people stay away from this business as they obviously do not want business.

Rude and unhelpful.

Contacted them as I was trying to get a couple of parts that I can’t find in Australia. Was bluntly just told to go and read the website conditions.

Not sure why they wouldn’t cater for a customer who is willing to pay the extra for shipping? Poor customer service.

My advice for any prospective buyer would be to save yourself the bother and guaranteed headaches by avoiding this store like the veritable plague.

Their customer service is abysmal largely due to their rudeness and obnoxious behaviour. In my case it was asking if they had any additional photos of a particular item. Based on my interaction you can then expect to be gas lit into believing that your question was inappropriate, a waste of their time and that perhaps you should consider shopping elsewhere so they can dodge the bullet that is you as a customer.

Even more suspicious is the fact that they then proceeded to tell me that I'd struggle to find a part like it and when I looked at it again online 20min later, the price had gone up.

Not to be trusted!!!! I would suggest any prospective customer shop elsewhere and dodge this bullet of a retailer.

They were rude and did not answer any questions on line, referred me to doing an email and then referred me back again.

Cant trust someone who responds like this, stay clear.

I dared to ask if they would ship internationally as their FAQ suggested. Got the following reply in the chat from Dan,

"as if it wasn'as if it's not laziness enough that you failed to read the Shipping Conditions page, now you are pestering us in chat as well as by email"

It went downhill from there and culminated with Dan saying,

"You are a nuisance. so far my words have been at the polite end of the scale. They could get a lot more creative and could start to address your geneology"

I mean, need I say more!? :)

The online purchase system did not work, and when help was requested I was abused by the online 'helper'.
Extremally rude.
Basically told me I was too stupid to use a store!
Do not give this company any business.

Wow! Found a part I was after, but hadn't read the reviews.
All was Ok then I asked if the photos were of the actual part...no they were stock, so he said in chat to leave it if I was not sure.
I said ok ok, "I'll leave it, thanks anyway"
I then got this in chat..
"This is midnight and very invasive, Goodbye"
I said "well don't answer chat then, read your reviews"
got back "f*** off you idiot"

The guy running this chat he takes rude to the next level. Asked if they ship and told I’m lazy to look at there site. Then asked for the condition of some parts they have in stock and got told they don’t want my business. I run a business and would never speak to people the way you do when they spending money with me. If you had said no you can’t ship that I would have asked someone if they could collect. And I wanted to buy a few things from them. But will take my money else where.

Spoke to Dan with online chat, wish I could post his messages, I asked if they had a part in stock, told to read banner, then got abused and told he is not my mother and I am a child. Seems to be a common trait with Vagparts

abused the hell out of me for simply asking about a car they were dismantling, i gave the part of the vin that THEY list and got this back
"dear god. How about just getting to the point and asking for whatever you are looking for?
and provide the complete vin or the rego...
I'm sorry. We just don't have time for this protracted game. Send a detailed EMAIL or else look to another seller please''
i proceeded to send a detailed list of everything i needed, then got left on read and they closed the chat
so yea the other reviews make complete sense, the customer service rep dan, is simply an angry old lazy man.

Don’t order from here. I ordered the right part but was sent the wrong part. Tried to return it but was abused ALOT over email. Called a failure at all things in life, made fun of for driving a 1999 car, called an idiot, had my career threatened. Do not order from here they are abusive and won’t give your money back. I ordered a $30 car part, turned out to be a plastic POS that didn’t even fit. And they didn’t give my money back, instead spent all day sending me abusive emails and calling me stupid. I would post screenshots if I could.

Asked a simple question if you ship your stock to AU. Rather than straight answer was asked to go read the website. Which didnt have clear instructions only to say, that they can ship small parts as an exception.
When asked again was called a person with no brain.
Wonder who are the people who do business with this kind of customer service. Might as well do not have a customer service answering questions in the first place.
Would definitely not recommend this seller.

Horrible customer service!
I tried to ask a simple question on their live chat, and was called a "pair of brats" and "too stupid to read". I would not recommend this place to anyone.
