But please if your considering using this company DO NOT go there!!!! Absolutely appalling rude customer service. Please at all costs shop elsewhere. Be warned!!

What can I say. Mike doesn't want business from a customer unless they know exactly what they want. I'm very sorry to have troubled Vagparts.

Mike at Sales, Auckland branch Im guessing, complained I'd started a new email chain, and I wasn't polite. I only asked for the price of the window wipers.
I don't need them that bad to argue for a price. So I'll shop elsewhere

If i could give the place a negative 10000 stars thats being generous. They are absolute scammers! They sell used shit parts they get for free or close to it for hundreds of dollars and when you call them out on it they start insulting you saying “it must be hard driving a left hand drive car in New Zeland” or some stupid shit. I guess he is living in the stone age and has never made an intetnational sale in his life LOL. Buddy we have these things called AIRPLANES. He was selling a used intake tube that sites here charge 25 dollars for and he wanted 195 dollars! I found one brand new on Alibaba for 7 dollars. All I can say is NEVER buy anything from that scammer!

Wow I've never dealt with a business that is so rude and condescending. A good lesson to read reviews before dealing with a 'business'.

I made an error with their online enquiry form and Mike didn't miss the opportunity be condescending about it. As with many other reviews for Vagparts, I feel like Mike should not be allowed anywhere near their computer to respond to customer enquiries. If I spoke to potential customers the way he does I would lose my job. Rude and self righteous.

In short and politely put, they sent me a faulty part and will not even acknowledge or find a solution for their error with a simple adult conversation - let alone a replacement or refund. I was also abused and rudely dismissed right from the get go.

I would love to post all my comms here mikeslaining everything back to Mike just to present how dreadful this human being actually is.

The company are absolute thieves and how they are trading and still operating is utterly beyond me.

Please avoid no matter how much you need a part.

The staff member Mike, got really offended when I asked if it could be shipped that day. He told me off for paying by bank transfer, then he started an argument. I said I don't want to argue I just want the parts shipped. He cancelled my order. Absolutely shocking customer service.

There should be an option to give NO star! This is part of a message I got from this guy when I asked what type of delivery service he used (after the fact I spoke to NZ Post who explained that it was economy - the tracking link had stopped updating):

"If you don’t like the way we operate this store then please do not buy again. We choose to be abrupt – it is not a mistake... Maybe buy from a main dealer. They will probably even make you a coffee while pandering to your deklicate sensitivities" [SIC]

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you enjoy being abused!

I thought I may have accidentally said something but that dude is wild😭 the worst part is he’s high up in the company too at least seems like it I messaged the admin email for complaints about staff and it was literally the same dude😭 he’s crazy I asked for a part and gave part number he said “who gave you that part number” I said I got it off the part I need and he said “do you want the part or gonna keep the attitude. So glad it wasn’t just me tho and the sad thing is I was so loyal to them have bought about 5 big parts off them but anyone else having issues ECSTUNING.com is so much better for a brand new cv joint for an Audi plus shipping was $350nz from America brand new with warranty, and the part I wanted from them was old rusty and probably wouldn’t last long for $300 so 50$ difference to get a brand new part from America, it came within the week too

Absolutely shocked to receive such a negative response from my initial enquiry. Never had anyone make such stupid and abusive comments ever in my business life.
The email just got more crass and rude. Now seems to be threatening, so I'm happy to lodge complaint with police. I would remove the 1 star I just gave this foul mouthed moron, but the system doesn't allow. NOT a company to do any business with.

This guy is completely unhinged. The owner, Bruce Herbert Williamson, who I think hides behind the name Mike, has owned a trail of unsuccessful and notorious businesses. It's almost hilarious how unhinged he is. Maybe email for a laugh, not to buy parts.

If I could rate negative stars I would. What kind of business insults you for making an inquiry. I sincerely hope that these reviews reach more people worst business I have dealt with in years bar none.

Avoid at all cost - sells cheap knock of Chinese parts, supply's incorrect parts then is unbelievably rude in their communications, how they still exist is beyond me, wish I had checked before I ordered

I ordered parts they didnt arrive then i phoned asking what was happening the guy then started to abuse me and said he would cancel and threatened to take 35% of my money that i had already paid then he begin to abuse me more. only after me ringing the police and telling him this did he then refund all my money. then he made the items i was trying to buy unavailble so they can be sited but not bought.

Total scammers,

We’d bought a gearbox through them for a mk5 golf, I was then informed that my mechanic had a horrible time dealing with them and they ended up cutting off communication after we’d bought the gearbox.
There after we got the gearbox, was said to have had 33xxx kms, come to find out the gearbox really had 122xxx kms and no reverse or 6th gear due to a broken selector fork!!
Never ever buy any parts from the guys down at VAG Christchurch.
