Upway delivered us some great bikes and even when my wife's bike was not a good fit they took it back no questions asked. The process was very easy and customer service was top notch.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will admit that I was very anxious disassembling parts of an ebike, packing it as carefully as I could, and seeing it put in the back of a full FedEx ground truck. But your support all along the way was incredible. Everyone I talked to at your company was professional and reassuring. I can't say enough good things about your company.
An administrative, logistical, and managerial nightmare.
Upway mistakenly shipped me an additional e-bike that I never ordered. Two days before it shipped, I notified them that they were processing an order that had already been fully canceled and refunded, with no remaining purchase agreement. Despite that, they shipped the bike anyway.
After it arrived, I had to store a large boxed e-bike in my home for nearly three weeks while waiting for them to retrieve it. I also had to contact Upway a second time to inform them that I had received the extra bike, even though I had already warned them before it shipped.
Given the circumstances, I believed there was at least a legitimate question about my obligations under FTC rules regarding unordered merchandise. I nevertheless tried to resolve the situation cooperatively by offering to purchase the bike at a discounted price. Upway refused to make any offer. Instead, I received communications that included legal accusations and threats despite there being no factual basis to suggest I had done anything improper. That was especially disappointing considering my wife and I had just purchased two other e-bikes from them for approximately $2,300 each and had acted in good faith throughout the entire process.
On the positive side, the two bikes I actually purchased were an excellent value, and customer service promptly resolved a few minor issues. I also appreciate that they worked with my schedule when arranging pickup of the mistakenly shipped bike.
Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled by management overshadowed those positives. Customers who act honestly and proactively should not have to bear the inconvenience of a company's administrative errors, nor should they be met with legal threats and accusations without any factual basis after proactively trying to help resolve the problem.
Because of this experience, I will be purchasing my next two e-bikes elsewhere and will be sharing my experience with friends, family, and coworkers.

Great bike, quick delivery.
My bike was shipped right away and was in great condition when it arrived! Very happy with my purchase. The only tricky bit is that the assembly instructions are generic and not particular to the model, but I could find instructions for assembly online.
A Very Good Purchase Experience
1. Received a bike perfectly described and in good condition.
2. The information describing the bike on-line was very complete, describing components, battery life and odometer.
3. Updates on the packaging, shipping and expected date of arrival kept me informed .The bike arrived quickly and with documents that held necessary information on assembly and returns.
4. When returning the bike (nothing was wrong with it) there were very clear instructions on that.
5. The experience was good enough that I am willing to order another bike from Upway.

The bike was exactly as advertised. The price was very reasonable. The shipment came in on time and well packaged. While I have had some issues they are directly related to my learning curve with respect to the operation of the bike.

Bike arrived with bent rotor, and and stripped fixing assembly. I contacted customer support and got zero help with the bike. Will think twice about recommending or being a repeat customer.

It was pretty good but the shipping was nuts - Fedex literally screwed it up, and told me it wouldn't be delivered about 10 mins before it WAS delivered.
Find a better delivery service; Fedex provides neither reliable tracking nor reliable delivery.
Easy transaction
Easy transaction. Quick delivery and ebike exactly how it was described. Great pricing as well.
Tough post sale support
Pre sale: 5 stars. Bike selection was excellent, and every rep I spoke with beforehand was knowledgeable and helpful.
Post sale: This is where Upway needs to improve. A glitch with their payment processor Splitit caused my card to be charged three times for one bike. It took over a dozen calls and a week of back and forth to get the extra charges reversed, and Upway initially denied any issue on their end. A $125 credit only came after I mentioned leaving a review, which did not reflect the effort the resolution took.
Bottom line: great bikes and a strong pre sale team, but be ready to advocate for yourself if something goes wrong after purchase.

Faults…
First I was emailed the wrong tracking number. Finally received the bike and the motor was locked and I needed to bring it to a dealer since upway did not perform the hand-over process. I called and they said they forgot. Then the first ride the rear brake lever just went to the bar. Had to bring it back to the shop for them to tighten the brakes and bleed it.
