Was tempted to try the wash machine cleanser. Gave them my email and then my phone number for the 40 % but the discount wasn’t applied. So I emailed customer service. This was the reply:

“I wanted to clarify how our welcome offer works. The email you received mentions “up to 40%” off your first order. This means the discount is tiered and not a guaranteed 40% for every order. The final discount amount depends on the total value of your purchase, the higher the amount spent, the higher the discount percentage you may receive.”

I guess 0% is still considered up to 40%. Very misleading way to get people’s information. I won’t be ordering and don’t trust this company

UPDATE They want more detail to recognize this review. So here goes. I wanted to try their product without buying a bunch. Fell for the “give us your email and get a discount” ploy. Did that. Then it said give us your phone number also. Did that and then the discount didn’t work. So I emailed customer service.

I handed over my email my phone number for 40% discount and it’s not working.
Makes me suspicious of your company.

So apparently you need to buy a bunch to get the discount. But since giving them my contact information, received multiple marketing text messages but they thankfully stopped when I blocked them.

I had an awful experience and am guessing it’s a scam.
I placed my order for the laundry bundle and expedited shipping 2-3day). They took my money and ghosted me.
After a week, I started checking my tracking and the order said it wasn’t fulfilled. After 2 weeks I started emailing and got no response from any of the emails or help lines. Beware!!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. My card was charged, though the products I ordered never shipped. No replies to any emails to either help-at-uprootclean.com or help-at-uprootlint.com. I do receive plenty of marketing email though. The only communications I got was a text with someone called "Casey, the warehouse manager" who initially was trying to upsell me though was initially helpful on this issue. However, a message to the number just now generated an auto-reply asking if I wanted to opt out of marketing emails. Have begun the fraudulent charge process with my bank. I have no idea if these products work; I would certainly strongly caution anyone looking to buy them online.

Product never shipped!

These is a scammer that advertised on social media. Orderd 3 weeks ago still didn't received my order. No response to emails and they have a phone number that goes directly to voice mail....yes, I did left a voice mail as well. No response at all.
Im glad I ordered through PayPal and I could get my money back.
Instead of sending tens of email a day spamming my inbox with promotions how about focus on delivering the products to the customers who already ordered!
It seems like this is an ongoing problem with this company!
I will definitely not do the mistake of buying anything from this company again!

I ordered on 4/14 and was told delivery would be on 4/19. Today is 5/6 and I still have not received my order and can't file a claim

I ordered from the website and my AmEx card was billed immediately. Nearly 1 month later, I haven't received the washing machine cleaner products I ordered, and, despite writing to their help page twice, NO product has yet arrived. I want to cancel my order and get my over $50 back. This feels like a SCAM!

I ordered the grooming kit because of the advertised quiet motor. It was not quiet, and my dog would not tolerate it. The customer service agent tried to convince me to keep it, then eventually initiated the return for me. I shipping the product back in pristine condition. My package shows as received at the facility two weeks ago, and I still haven't received my refund. I have emailed the company multiple times, and no one is responding. Do not buy from this company!

DONT PLACE YOUR ORDER-

I placed my order on April 27. My order still shows it has not shipped. It has been 8 days since the orde was placed and they were paid. I have reached out to customer support and received no response. I am giving this company my lowest rating since they have been paid, my order has not been fulfilled and I have received no response when I reached out to customer support.

Also if you have a problem, there is no phone number for this company.

If I ever receive the product I will update my review but as of right now I believe this company is a SCAM.

Don't order from this company. Horrible customer service (more like non-existent customer service). Website says that orders ship in 1-3 days, but my order has been "being prepared" for 2 weeks with no change in status since the day I placed the order. There is no way to talk to a live person via phone and emails to the "help" address are not answered. I will never order from this poor excuse for a company again and will report them as a scam to my bank.
UPDATE as of 5/21 still don’t have my order and I get no response to my emails, which are the only way to contact Uproot.

I feel this is a very unscrupulous company. I ordered from them when they were offering a buy 2/ get 2 free. My invoice stated exactly that: buy 2/get 2 free. I received ONLY 2, not 4 and my invoice was changed to looking like I only ordered 2. Ive tried contacting the company 3 times and have not received even One reply. I would tell everyone to be very careful when ordering: take a screenshot of your order and don't expect to be able to return anything because they will not acknowledge your existence. There was no return address on the package..

As appears to an ongoing issue for this company, they have taken on more orders than they have the inventory to fulfill in reasonable time frame. My order was placed two weeks ago and still has not been shipped. Unfortunately, they have no phone number to reach a live person and do not respond promptly to inquiries either through e-mail or on their website when they get in over their head. I could understand if they were honest about the expected time frame for order fulfillment and apologetic for the delay. It's not okay to ghost customers. If you do not wish to order a product with no idea when it will ever be delivered, do not purchase directly from this company.

I placed an order with Uproot Clean on April 14. As of May 1, I have not received the product and have seen no shipping updates or tracking progress.
I have attempted to reach customer service through every available channel: emailed the help email, emailed Janine directly, sent texts, messaged via Facebook Messenger, and posted comments on their Facebook page. I have received no response on any channel.
The company does not publish a customer service phone number, which makes resolution nearly impossible when emails go unanswered. I have now opened a dispute with my payment provider to recover my funds.
I cannot recommend ordering from this company until they demonstrate they can fulfill orders and respond to customer inquiries.

I ordered the turbo cleaner. Site says shipping in 3-5 days. I never received my products. I sent emails and called. I left messages. No one will get back to me. I believe this is a scam company

Ordered pro cleaner 12 days ago, $100+. Have not received replies to all inquires. Tracking indicates waiting on fulfillment still. Thinking this is a scam. Still waiting!

I needed to return my order, customer service started out great, and mailed it back and paid for the postage, they asked that I send them the tracking number so they can keep a lookout for it. They received it on 4/15/26 it is now 4/27/26 and there is no response from them, I have sent several emails asking for updates and nothing. So now I have no refund and no product. Plus cost to ship it back. So disappointed in this company, that they would just stop communicating, can’t seem to find a customer service phone number. Do not buy from them

The washing machine tabs are not shipped in 1-3 business days, as advertised. I’ve received no shipping updates, but I am receiving multiple daily emails, advertising more of their products. I don’t need emails that claim I’ll lose a discount code if I don’t hurry up and order more. I want to receive the products from my one and only order, in the time frame advertised. For customer service- there is an email only, which boasts a 4 hour response time. I’m responding to every spam email they send with a request for a shipping update and have received none. If you can’t fill orders, stop advertising and get your business model in order.

Ordered induced by BOGO. Buy 2, get 2 free. So I ordered 2. So they sent 2 at full price. Their very confusing site had an additional button to hit to get the BOGO deal. Bad advertising and the company did not care after I contacted them. Caveat Emptor.
Now I am deluged daily with their ads. Unsubscribe request is ignored.
Worst if all… grocery cleaner tablets are cheaper and better.

DO NOT BUY. Their customer service is non existent. Ordered on the 16th. Not a reply or update to any of the emails I've sent. "Tracking" says still being processed come back later. How much later? Their page says shipped in 3 business days. It is now the 23rd. They sure took my payment within minutes of ordering though. They even conned me into " upgrading" to a $109 batch of washer cleaner which somehow took off the deal of buy one get one that I originally signed up for. I have since been informed that was an unneeded upsell scam. Buyer beware. At least read the reviews on their social media first. I wish I had.
