I don’t normally do reviews but I’m making an exception as I thought UK Satellite TVs service was great! Very easy ordering process, quick dispatch, very clear and well presented instructions, easy and clear activation page and very quick activation. All very impressive so I’d definitely recommend them!

The viewing card arrived within 3 days and the internet set-up procedure was straightforward. A telephone hotline is now available and very quickly resolved a minor problem that I had (a mistake on my part when filling in the activation form). Strongly recommended!

I am very satisfied about the handling of my subscription. They did it very good and I want to say thank you to UK Satellite TV.

The support has always been really good and helpful.

Marc could not have been more helpful in the setting up of the VPN connection. He even responded to emails on a Sunday. Hence the 5 star rating.
On the other hand, I find the content of the Sky packages of very poor quality and extremely expensive. I had hoped that VPN would give me BBC iPlayer but I have been disappointed.

Service

Delivery was really quick and the service was very friendly. Very pleased with them so far.

I ordered now tv in April for viewing British programming while living here in Germany. The ordering Process was pretty easy and the advice from uk satellite was pretty good about telling me what I needed so the advice was good. The only down side is that there is no number for getting advice you have to email. They are good at responding though.

UK Satellite have worked with me to resolve the issue which I appreciate. There were some communication difficulties at the outset with some messages apperaing to get lost, leading to mutual frustration.

Given the backdrop of the challenge that the coronavirus pandemic has posed to us all, I am grateful to them for the efforts thay have made to bring this matter to a satisfactory outcome.

Quick response to initial enquiries and have had a couple of teething problems however they acted quickly (even at the weekend) and the problems were resolved.

So far, everything they offered to do has been done. It took a while for the card to arrive, but it was ordered early in December, so probably more to do with the Christmas post.

Fast, efficient and friendly service! One word/ Excellent!

UPDATE: I have upped the rating for this company to 2 stars because I consider the product to be excellent...unfortunately the service doesn't match up. Contrary to the response below, the company does not "always" return e-mails and phone calls. Their own response to an issue back in 2018 was "...we cannot and will not return calls when there is nothing to talk about, sir..." As the customer with the problem, I certainly had plenty to talk about.
Regarding the latest issue, not once did the company acknowledge or accept responsibility for failing to change my payment options as I requested. Instead, I received a coercive and bullying email response from a rather rude employee who stated:
"...I give you two options: 1. Remove this rating by Tuesday this week, OR 2. cancel the service with us..."
You can guess which option I chose.
If you are an expat living in Europe, there are a number of service providers out there. Please do your research and find one that will work for you....

I've finally reached the breaking point with the company. I've had service with them for three years: two in Germany and the last year in Belgium. The product does the job and I get UK-based television programming...no issues there. BUT...
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THIS COMPANY IS VERY POOR!!

First, there is no contact number to speak to an actual person. There is a standard "contact" on-line form you can fill out to "request" a return call, but in the four times I have used this form to discuss an issue, I've yet to receive a telephone call from them.

Second, I've had multiple issues any time I've needed to change billing details (address, credit card, etc). Again, there is no "person" to talk to, only another on-line form to fill out. The web site actually states that if you have more than one viewing card (we do), you only need to provide one number and that "we will take care of the rest" for you. BIG MISTAKE....I provided my original viewing card number and the payment information was changed....for that card only. I have since sent two more on-line requests to have the details changed for the second viewing card yet my old credit card continues to be billed...most recently just yesterday. As of today, I've sent yet ANOTHER request to change the billing details, but I also called my credit card company and requested they block all further charges from UK Satellite TV. Maybe once they don't get paid, someone will take the time to contact me and help sort out the billing issue...

I won't even go into the difficulty I experienced trying to add a viewing package to one of my cards....a month of frustration!

Bottom line: product is good and works well; but if you are expecting any level of customer service, look elsewhere. Once the "sale" is made, "service" is pretty much non-existent.
